What does it mean to know about life?
We know we are alive as are so many other organisms in nature, but how can we know for sure how we are connected to the natural world except though food, drink & ecosystem services like bee pollination of fruit crops as an example.
When we are talking about living organism existing on planet Earth, we are talking about ecosystems, nature, the humans & animals that make up the natural world & have done so long before human industrialization.
Science concerns itself with studying phenomena in nature with the Scientific Method, in terms of different biological, chemical, and physical interactions, reactions, dependencies, and other food web interactions with water, air, soil, dirt, rocks, lightning, sunlight, carbon, carbon dioxide, oxygen, cells, bodies of systems of complex cell systems that self-assemble as humans scramble to manipulate the genome of GMO or genetically modified organism so that global human agriculture can survive climate change & global warming with more intense droughts that are hotter & dryer & longer lasting, while flooding when it rains will become more damaging with more rain falling faster than the imperviously surfaces humans add with the concrete built world can flush away in storm drains, causing flooded streets, power outages & worse.
Mix in earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires, and all the other natural hazards & disasters caused by engineering disasters, war, reckless polluting industrial mining & similar toxic carbon combustion on a grand scale to energize globalization with heavy bunker oil, coal power plants, diesel fuel emissions debacle at VW & gasoline engine tailpipe emissions fumes that cause smog & air pollution that sickens the general public with preventable diseases, all so some billionaires who already want for nothing can make even more money.
Considering human & ecosystem life as precious and special, it's nice to observe the growth, reproduction, adaptation, metabolism & stimulation response of my life & that of other human people, insects, birds, wildlife, animals, pets, plants, fungi & more, even on rotting foods that decay from colorful bacterial colonies present that break down food into smaller molecules that food comprised of, just as the microbes in the human body gut help people digest things they eat.
Living organisms come in a wide variety of forms, ranging from microscopic single-celled organisms to complex multicellular organisms like animals and plants. Life on Earth is sustained by a delicate balance of interactions between various living and non-living components of the environment, including the atmosphere, oceans, and land.

Now its carbon combustion of diesel & gas by billions of vehicles belching out smog forming smelly toxic tail pipe emissions that are also accelerating climate change and making the greenhouse gas effect intensify faster such that Earth's atmosphere traps more of the incoming solar radiation energy from the Sun's thermal photon & phonon (light & heat, particle wave duality) emissions.
In addition to the biological aspects of life, there are also many profound philosophical and spiritual questions that remain unanswerable with empirical evidence, only faith based conjectures of God's holy word as interpreted by men from the past, with many world religions offering different interpretations of the meaning behind what caused the big bang or what happens to people after we die; when the energetic entangled 4th dimensional energy form called the soul, mind, will & emotions, changes form as an energy to a longer wavelength IR configuration into other dimensions, translating through dark energy into a higher dimension planes where only energy & information exist, something known widely as heaven.

This is why I think a lot of people get junk information from the family doctor, and continue to suffer from diseases caused by dietary deficiencies, imbalances & excesses, with too many high glycemic index refined carbohydrates like bread, rice, pasta, soda, fruit juices, added sugars & starches, that raise blood sugar levels & cause insulin resistance that eventually becomes Type 3 prediabetes & if the SAD standard American diet continues to be eaten, Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure & other metabolic syndrome diseases & disorders.
I am thinking about dehydration & kidney failure or not enough dietary fiber to balance carb intake & the wrong kinds of processed proteins with nitrites & nitrates added that the IARC or International Agency for Cancer Research says cause gastrointestinal cancers like colon cancer. Good Job GMA or the corrupt Grocery Manufacturers Association, marketing sugary junk foods to children with the same unethical tactics the Tobacoo companies used to use with Joe Camel ads & similar that were banned in 1994.
I believe that these sleazy greedy junk food companies that make ultra processed nutritionally devoid pseudo-fast foods & similar mega food companies will be banned from marketing to children by 2034. In this way lawmakers often lag behind what industry does to scrimp & scramble to constantly increase revenue & profit as sleaze bag investors on wall street huff money drugs in obsessive ways that redefined greedy corruption to new extremes. I am thinking of that Martin Shkreli pervert who jerked up the prices of essential critical medications for people with rare genetic disorders such that their monthly out of pocket expenses for these life saving medications went from $300 per month to over $3000 per month,
