Take a look at the kinds of industrial output human activity has created, is creation & continues making daily worldwide to enable globalization, industrial production, mass manufacturing, gigascale recycling, modern warfare, industrial food systems, book printing, all the products available online, all the servers, chips made in chipfabs, all the vehicles, the massive scales of human activity now being continually optimized with emerging AI & many other newer novel technologies applied. 

Artificial intelligence in product designs at automakers & aircraft companies used to enhance FEA & CFS, finite element analysis & computation fluid simulation / aspects of enhance CAD or computer aided design, where the designer able to use tools that further optimize parts for lower mass & higher strength, enhancing the performance of the product, or making the service use less energy, these techniques can be used to optimize logistics systems, recycling sorting, car vehicle servicing, shipping & distributing goods, trash collection, waste recovery, loss reduction, shrinkage reduction, profit enhancing, wealth creation, emergent jobs sectors, new industries, entirely novel dark lights off fully automatic manufacturing with no onsite employees. 

Self-driving vehicles that make virtually no mistakes like a typical flawed error prone human driver that might be tired, irritated, annoyed, stressed out, distracted, high, intoxicated, or otherwise disturbed with psychiatric problems or worse. As self driving vehicles achieve level 5 autonomy, manual driving a vehicle will become an obscure hobby enjoyed by a tiny minority of people, like driving a car with a manual transmission today, while 99.9 of cars have automatic transmissions, or no transmission like the Nissan LEAF SV I commute with :) 

Autonomous weapons systems by government militaries that enable cluster weapons, drone swarms, automatic robotic armed robot fleets & other emerging military defense & offense technologies. This the subject of many dystopian fictional movies, when the self aware weapons system decides that humans are not needed & kills off all the people. 

Customer analytics & product suggestion on Amazon Prime or Ebay or Alibaba. Think search engines & e-commerce that becomes increasingly precise at making intelligent product suggestions that connect with the customers mind so that make purchase in direct response to seeing the suggestion, so the company can extract more revenue from each amazon prime member. 

Military informatics & intelligence systems, no one living in these intelligence balloon imaging systems or space satellites, these systems are fully robotic & RC or remote control, with autonomous functions & features for data & insight collection, they are out collecting data about strategically interesting locations & infrastructure & targets to stream useful information for summarization for the executive command to make strategic decisions to enhance the nation states security, to wage war, to defend against foreign enemies, to stabilize or manipulate economies, to exert force to enforce geopolitical power or similar. 

Weather forecasting & future-casting. Weather apps on your smartphones or via your voice interactive amazon echo or similar. "Hey Alexa, what's the weather like today?" or you can touch your phone like a magic trick & look it up on the screen silently. 

Industrial oil refining at the hundred of millions of gallons daily. One of the largest users of electricity in the world are oil refineries where they use electric stills to boil crude oil into a column of fractions so that black gold can be separated into many dozens of streams of different chemical feed stocks to make reformulated gasoline & diesel fuel, propane, butane, hydrogen, tar, bitumen, asphalt, & other petrochemicals. 

Coal power systems where black, brown, bitumen & other peat compression fuels are dug out of moutain sides or dug up from the ground or from underground where coal seam exists. The idea is a combustable rock that costs less than $100 per ton, making coal the cheapest of all carbon energy sources, some 20x cheaper that crude oil fuels like Jet A burned by passenger aircraft for example, which airlines are able to buy for $1 per gallon while I have to pay over $4 per gallon for 87 octane unleaded E10 ethanol containing gasoline for our fossil fueled vehicles & small engine power tools. I actually pay extra to buy ethanol free fuel from CENEX via The Grange nearby :) 

There is a a Pure Gas app for android & apple IOS that can help you find E0 or ethanol free fueling stations so you can buy the more energetic ethanol free gasoline that works much better in small carburetor engines, since ethanol hygroscopic and adsorbs water vapor from the air such that E10 in small engine devices can attract water into the gas tank causing rusting of the gas tank or similar corrosion in the carburetor. I don't like E10 or E15, it's just the most widely available fuel at most gas stations & tends to be 15-30% cheaper than E0 or ethanol free gasoline locally. 

Nuclear fission reactors, more than 400 operating to make electricity for the worlds power grids worldwide, many more are being built in India, China, & South Korea as a pair of newer units came online in America recently, V3 & V4 at the TVA for example. These are mostly 2nd gen reactors from the 1950s & 1960s that still work because of how well made they were :) They use enriched uranium that costs as much as gold, but only represents about 4% of the electricity production cost overall, plus the spent fuel rods are very energetic & full of interesting useful elements that can be reprocessed into new fuels & other amazing elements for scientific applications, especially to fuel 4th Generation Fission Reactors :) I like the lithium fluoride molten salt reactor designs the most :) 

Space Telescopes like Hubble & James Web by NASA, these took 30 years & many billions to develop, the collective work of tens of thousands of people, thousands of engineers, millions of hours of design & assembly in clean rooms & really exotic manufacturing & technology, absolutely exceptional in most regards, its actually amazing that its even possible to make a space based telescope with multi-spectral imaging & stream the data back to Earth so you can look at the images on NASA's websites :) 

Space based mining PGMs. Planetary Resources plans to send a mining robot into space to harvest astroids of PGM or platinum group metals like palladium, rhodium, & platinum. Some of the astroids in space contain trillions of dollars worth of these amazing corrosion resistant PGMS with all sorts of cool applications in many industries, not just for jewelry, for catalytic converters which is important for air quality & protecting public health from toxic tailpipe emissions from gasoline & diesel fueled vehicles, since the cat reducing pollutants to non toxic emissions, but must make use of PGMS for the catalytic reduction of pollutants to non toxic exhaust gases :) 

Glass & Metal recycling on industrial scales now. Recycling rates been improving since the modern environmental movement started in the late 1960s in America. Glasses can be recycled nearly endlessly in hot melt furnace to make glass fiber insulation, windows, advanced ceramics, more glass, etc 

Concrete manufacturing can be fueled with trash or waste incineration & applying fly ash recovery & other emissions controls can radically reduce air pollution emissions, including carbon capture at the concrete manufacture to make carbon dioxide based ceramics & metal oxides to include in the concrete mix sold :) Think carbon dioxide minerals made from the concrete plant emissions. 

Cruise Missiles with Autopilot, many militaries already have autonomous weapons system, guided by satellite navigation, with pin-point tactical accuracy, with laser guidance or TV image guidance to strike a vehicle or small building entrance or very tight precision accurate deliver of the weapon to fly it up the enemies a-hole // 

Directed Energy using light, electricity at very high voltages, think laser plasma channels, microwave lasers call masers & other post projectile weapons that use E-beams & neutrons & electrons as the projectile to deliver incredible energies to the target // vaporizing the enemy or enemy vehicle or hostile troops or fortified positions, to burn through bunkers & penetrate enemy defense systems, to fry electrical substations, to destroy power plants, to bust all the way through armored bunkers, to destroy tanks or missile systems. 

Fusion Weapons based on conventional nuclear weapons boosted with a tritium beryllium neutron reflection amplifier that triggers a fusion explosion energized by the fission weapons output energy. 

Plasma Weapons that create a free electron channel in the air by ionizing the nitrogen & oxygen to strip away electrons to make a laser channel conductor in the air that can like physical wires deliver thousands of amps at thousands of volts to deliver tens or hundreds of thousands or millions of watts of energy to the target at great distance with light speed / such that a UV pulsed laser crates the gas plasma channel that carries the electrical current to the target. This can be used to take out drones or drone swarms or to wipe out the electrical system of an aircraft or satellite. 

Think of all the roads in the world, the scale of steel & concrete manufacturing. The amount of human activity to enable 8.6 billion people at the same time so intensive and so large of scale that its take multiple industrial resolutions, major technological paradigms to get to where we are today & to where we are going in the near future with World War Three!
