Ephemeral, biodegradable, compostable, nontoxic, natural, organic. Even the tree's that live 600 years eventually die. Have you seen what the wildfires are doing in Colorado recently ? Burning down whole neighborhoods, forcing hundreds of thousands of people to evacuate!
If this is not an incentive to move towards broad decarbonization immediately, I am not sure what else is ? We need to immediately stop burning the world down for energy! Its crazy & insane to keep polluting the atmosphere with pollutants that make carbonic, sulfuric & nitric acids form in rain! We need to stop burning coal, oil, gasoline, diesel, gas, nature gas, wood & other sources of carbon & hydrocarbons; combustion is dirty because air is 78% nitrogen! Get with the science & stop being ignorant. Dumping trillions of tons of pollutants into Earth's atmosphere not helping anything get better!

Droughts so long & dry & desolate that crops die off & people are forced to relocate because of no sanitation water to drink, wash or clean with, or irrigate their yard or refill the their hot-tub or pool
Fiat currency collapses of the United States Dollar & Euro & other fake made up fungible currencies
Solar flares that wipe out computers, networks, power systems, utility electrical connections, fuse & breaker panels, laptops, cell phones, cell towers / no refrigeration & no electrical energy / modern life grinding to a halt. Think of Earth becoming a desolate wasteland of pollution & poverty & hunger & depravity & instability where the average human age declines to 20 & no one lives to be old or to old age.
Crime raging out of control as people are forced to go back to the first industrial revolution & rebuild everything from scratch, to restart human society on Earth.
Image viral pathogen outbreaks that make COVID19 look like a picnic, longer lasting, far more deadly, more virulent, easer to spread & much easier to catch- dangerously contagious, wiping out 2/3 of human population in short order.
Imagine an astroid collision that makes the sky darken & kills all plant life on Earth, causing global starvation that kills off 90% of human life within 6 months.
Imagine tsunamis & earthquakes so intense that they level entire countries, drenching everything with sea water & breaking apart the Earth, whole cities sinking into sink holes, lost into the sea. Imagine wild unimaginable terror & destruction that makes global terrorism look like a candle burning.
You cannot control natural hazards & disasters & runaway climate change from carbon burning worldwide sending human society off the end of a cliff in a way that threatens all life on Earth as we know it today.
Imaging just making live progressively worse for future generations to the point where the world so bad that no one wants to live in it anymore, the biosphere of Earth degraded with thick noxious pollution natural & artificial, particles, smoke, fumes dense & hard to see any light through, smelly nasty dust that burns the nose & throat & bronchial tubes & lungs. Nuclear Winter
You cannot buy enough insurance to protect yourself completely & no amount of money can truly insulate you from harm or chaos. Someone is coming for you & you know it, someday, your time will be up & you will die & there is nothing you can do about it & you have no idea when that day will come, so watch your back & keep one eye opened, living your paradise, exit light, dark of night, absolutely nothing you can do to keep death away, you are doomed & you know it! This is it & no one can prove otherwise with anything other than Faith & thats where I put my bet.
In the spirit of Pascals Wager, it is safer to bet on Faith in God for infinity reward if you are correct, you stand to lose nothing if your wrong, but if you bet on God not existing, you stand to gain either nothing or infinity penalty. So how do you want to bet ?
