Tea & Coffee in Moderation Reduce Risks of Mental Decline

I am a coffee nut, obsessed with making exceptional coffee using fresh hand ground beans steeped for 5 minutes using 185 F water inside a large stoneware French Press. Meg & I drink the flavorful tasty, delicious coffee produced black with nothing added.

I watched James Hofmann videos about Coffee on YouTube for hundreds of hours before getting a Eureka Mignon Notte grinder & Espresso Machine. Meg & I had been operating an AeroPress for years before going to Espresso shots.

We moved into a tiny home & went the route of a TIMEMORE manual coffee grinder with stainless steel conical burr & 30g capacity with enough settings to go from Turkish Super Fine to ultra course grains for cold brew or pour over. Called the Chestnut C3 max, its normally $89 but I got it on sale for $65. The double bearing system making hand grinding buttery smooth & the textured anodized black aluminum body & cap container are well designed with great ergonomics. Rated for 200 KG of throughput, I grind about 60 grams daily, so it could last 3,333.33 days of use, or about 9 years of daily grinding 60 grams of whole roasted coffee beans to get the most flavor out of the resulting coffee as James Hofmann the British YouTube coffee expert taught his faithful well-beloved student, yours truly :)

Coffee Moderation for Sleep Health Important

Drinking too much coffee or too much caffeine can degrade sleep health, making it harder to fall asleep or stay asleep. More tossing or turning at night means you might want to drink a little less coffee or drink your coffee early in the morning & never later than 2 pm or 12 noon or 11am depending on when you wake up.
