Vegan Diets Do Not Work Long Term

Many influencers on YouTube and TikTok tried being vegan for a few years, but end up feeling tired, sick, low on energy, weaker, smaller and sicker, forced to adapt animal based dairy, fish, meat, eggs, bacon & other normal omnivore diet foods back into their diet, which restored their health to a better state adjusted for age related damage, since aging harms the body with accumulated damage.

Vegan gastric bloating & mental fog are the most notable problems with eating vegan long term.

One of the most eco-friendly things someone can do, eat less meat. That's not no meat, just less. Meat like beef provides a bunch of creatine, complete amino acid spectrum, healthy saturated fats, tastes amazing as steak or seasoned burger patties and along with apple pie about as American as a food substance can get, other than eggs and bacon. I personally love egg yolks because they are packed with Choline :) I feel better and have clear shaper thinking when I regularly consume eggs.

Strange diets fail because it's annoying to keep up with them. People with busy lives eventually lose interest in changing fad diets. Losing weight a complex issue that cannot be easily solved with dietary changes alone, though a simple switch to skipping meals, getting more sleep, waking up earlier, going to bed earlier, eating smaller servings less often, many dietary changes can help someone lose weight, and weight loss doctors put their patients on strictly limited diets to reduce daily food calorie intake.

There are many theories about the cause of aging, but I think the Information Theory of Aging makes the most logical scientific sense. What we eat and drink also affect the way we age and our health & wellness  overall. Especially how much we eat and when. I find that only eating 1 or 2 times per day works a lot better. I usually skip breakfast and drink black coffee in the morning.

Its not just that vegans are missing B12, the amino acid spectrum also imbalanced in most vegan diets and eating that many plants causes a lot of gastric problems with bloating, gas, liquid farts, and worse.

A human being an omnivore historically and that works well with the very acidic gastric juices that are optimized for breaking down animal proteins.

The countries on Earth with the largest people also the biggest consumers of organic milk made the traditional way that they have been doing for millennia in Scandinavia.

Diet must reflect each persons actual lifestyle, age, size and gender needs. Many people who are obese have been eating too much for the amount of energy their bodies expend, such that body fat is just stored food energy.

When a person is fasting without eating for multiple days sequentially, their bodies are forced to burn stored body fat. That's just factually true, the body burns body fat for energy when we stop eating and only drink water, black coffee or tea. Water fasting helps people recover from morbid obesity, and helps many other people reverse Type 2 diabetes. Metformin the most common anti-diabetic drug improves mitochondrial function as its mode of action.

Mitochondria are the ATP generating power source in cells. They convert ADP to ATP, using higher level energy inputs from the TCA or citric acid cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation which is why the lungs exchange CO2 for O2 in the air we breathe.

O2 transported by hemoglobin or the iron complex on the surface of red blood cells, moves O2 like magnets through the blood in our circulation arteries and veins, pumped by the heart into the vasculature, all the capillaries & other blood pipes that wire up our organs for O2 absorption. The O2 combines with hydrogen ions that move across the membranes of the mitochondrial to reduce by condensation reactions into H20 or water. So we literally use O2 to condense water out of our body by taking hydrogen ions from the mitochondria so they can convert ADP to ATP.

Your body makes enough molecular ATP to equal your body mass daily, and that is the biochemical energy system of the body. We compost food into liquids in our guts to break them down so they can pass across the membranes of the gut to provide cell components so that our cells can use food substance to transcribe DNA into RNA proteins and flesh to build more cells.

When we are fasting, even at night while we are sleeping and not digesting food, our cells go into a clean up phase called autophagy or what meant in Greek "To Eat Self" referencing how the cells recycle cell parts into new cells with cleaver reuse & biochemical cleaning methods, all automatically.

More than 10,000 chemical reactions enabled by protein enzymes happening in every cell of the body, going more than 1000 miles per hour, happening 24/7 to enable cells to function as systems of cells in organs in body systems, and nearly all life on Earth operates like this at a system level of biochemistry.

Not to suggest that eating a lot of modern meat a healthy diet either, and given food prices for steak, chicken, pork, fish & other forms of meat are 3X higher than they were a in the recent past, though they seemed to have peaked during the main sequence of the COVID19 debacle, when crab was selling for $90/lb and a 2X4 board of wood that normally sells for $2 was selling for $50. I wanted a bag of flour during covid and had to spend $35 for a bag that normally sells for under $8. Price inflation during the main sequence of covid hit graphics cards for desktop gaming rigs too, with cards that had an OEM retail price of $399 selling for $1000 because of supply chain & chip shortages.
