Aging a Disease

You can grow older while staying younger on the inside using special tricks for a health lifestyle. Going to be earlier & not using artificial light & screens to stay up late for example. Drinking enough water & limiting ethanol & caffeine intake to stay well hydrated. Eating healthy fats & enough fiber to promote good digestion, while limiting carbohydrate & sugar intake to sparingly consume moderation. Think "Sugars" ok to fuel sports & heavy duty activities, but bad for people who move little or have impaired mobility. Sedentary lifestyle promotes disease formation, as does the standard American Diet or SAD, a hallmark of dietary imbalances typical of diseases of civilization.

Dr. David A Sinclair an Australian gerontology scientist shows in his book "Lifespan, Why We Age & Why We Don't Have To" that the information degradation of the epigenetic control mechanisms that govern cell DNA transcription, molecular machinery operation, repairs of damaged or degraded cells, cancer cell elimination & other healing & restoration processes; that degrade with advanced age due to damage to the analog epigenetic mechanisms, while the tertiary digital DNA thus gets unlocked in the wrong parts, products damaged cell components that cause a breakdown in the cell machinery, machinery inside each cell with more than 75,000 enzymes going more than 100 miles per hour, making more than 100 different biochemical cellular chemical reactions proceed at around 98 deg. F or typical core body temperatures. Without these inner cell enzymes, those cell biochemical reactions would need much higher body temperatures to proceed to overcome the EA or energy of activation to drive reactions forward from components to products, to make those biomolecules that epigenetic control mechanisms actively arrange into the cell parts & other components of flesh.

The information theory of aging based on the Sirtuin system modulation and epigenetic activation of "survival circuits" that are similar activated by multi-day water fasting for 4-7 days, interval fasting ketosis & autophagy or cell cleanup processes, and high intensity interval training or HiiT exercises for about 10 minutes at 85% of your personal cardio output max, hard enough that your breathing so hard that you can only squeak out a few words before taking your next breath.

Aging a Disease

Slowing, stopping & reversing aging improves most other medical disorders & diseases. Notice how young children are typically not sick with conditions that mostly affect people of advanced ages. Notice the difference between health span & life span, such that health span how long someone lives before the start suffering from a disease, dis-regulation of cellular control mechanisms in the epigenetic system that explain the operational basis of the information degradation theory of aging. As our epigenetic system becomes noisier with age, the information in the "observer" that governs cell biochemical processes, becomes blinded & confused. This means the wrong sections of the DNA are unwrapped for transcription. Consider how a vaccine acts like software update to the epigenetic system governing the immune system & other cell processes.

Metformin a drug based on the French Lilac plant often prescribed to people with Type 2 diabetes to help them lower their A1C score down to 4-or-5 from 6-9 typical of metabolic syndrome disease caused by eating excessive amounts of simple carbohydrates, a hallmark of the SAD or common standard American diet. Metabolic syndrome diseases as those linked to diseases of modern civilization, sedentary lifestyles of limited movement, sugars & simple carbohydrates eaten too many times per day, in servings that are too large. These simple carbs are converted into blood sugar & then glycogen & then body fat if they are not consumed fueling activity movement energy requirements. So if you are stating physically active, those activities are burning the blood glucose & sugars & carbs, but for a person that sits too much, these excess carbs get stored as body fat & promote weight gain, obesity, high blood pressure, insulin resistances, night sweats, irritability, depression, anxiety, frustration, clotting, stroke & embolism risks thus elevated by multiple mechanisms, both from the lack of blood movement in the legs while sitting around not moving much, but also because the toxic negative thinking & poor mood caused by high blood sugar caused further neurological cytokine & hormone control imbalances of cell processes that ultimately are the causal basis of many diseases.

Consider insulin resistance that forms when a patient consumes excess carbo hydrate & maintains a high blood sugar for prolonged periods. This extra blood sugar damages neurons & glial cells in the brain an implicated as causal factors driving dementia and Alzheimer's disease via glucose-toxcity, but high blood sugars also damage the nephron cell in the kidneys & can harden arteries & veins & produce stick plague forming LDL prone to clogging the vasculature with inflammation driven deposition & occlusion of the arteries & veins that reduce blood flow, starting tissue of oxygen, driving hypoxia, the very reason that COPD makes it harder to breath, the reason that sugar abuse causes obesity & heart disease, & the reason so many children who consume sugars in excess have behavioral problems. Dr. Robert Lustig calls sugar a dose dependent toxin because of how it harms people when they consume too much sugar, too often. The whole food pyramid is a metabolic disaster concept, if someone were to eat the way it describe, they would become sick with all sorts of preventable diseases.

Getting enough high quality sleep very import for brain / mind health. When we sleep the brain shrinks down to "squeeze" out metabolites that form during active day thinking processes; into the cerebral spinal fluid so that the liver & kidneys can filter your brain juice. Remember your brain & spine floating in a bath of fluid called cerebral spinal fluid, which acts as a protective damper by isolating the brain from hitting the skull bones. Neuron immune processes & brain hydration processes & brain cell repair mechanisms are all influenced by the condition of the cerebral spinal fluid. The brain & spinal fluid are damaged by dehydration & sleeping actually dehydrates the body. In these way morning pee or urine tends to be darker & smell stronger, since sleep repair & cleanup processes dump a lot of junk into the kidneys & live, but also because we loose a lot of water from breathing while sleeping. When you wake up in the morning, drinking 8-16 ounces of water one of the best things you can do & I do that on waking. I also drink black coffee brewed in an aero press from beans that I grind pseudo-on-demand; I keep a small ~80 gram buffer in a plastic container & only use 15-40 grams per day.

Stating hydrated means avoiding excess alcohol consumption, since drinking alcohol increases urine output via ethanol metabolism to acetic acid & the bodies urgent need to get rid of excess acetaldehyde form as a chemical intermediate special of ethanol metabolism via the dehydrogenase enzymes in the liver, which is also why alcohol abuse causes liver damage: it overloads the liver with acetaldehyde, an IARC classified carcinogen- plus all the sugars & other questions additives added to common alcohol containing beverages are likely similarly dose dependent toxins like ethanol itself. Ever heard of alcohol poisoning? Getting "Black Out" drunk both dangerous & very hard on your body. Raising your BAC or blood alcohol level beyond 0.02% very questionable, even though the legal limit 0.08 for most adults over the age of 21 in the USA. A BAC of 0.14 promotes profound executive function loss, the inability to execute rational thought & degrades a sound mind into a dream like state where drunken people progressively lose their ability to stand or walk correctly with an "impaired" gate, such that their locomotion degraded, making it easier to fall over & be harmed. Being drunk also degrades a persons ability to safely operate machinery or vehicles, since even drunk walking dangerous. Ethanol a potent activator of the brain GABA receptor system, an inhibitory system that turns off brain processes, slowing the brain down. When people are moving, driving, riding or operating any vehicle, they want their brain to be in a fast, alerted, sharp high functioning state where they can perform predictive analytics & safety focused control processes, to minimize injury risks to themselves & other people. This is why drunk driving illegal in most locations worldwide.
