Today many things are still made in the USA, like space craft or rockets of SpaceX or Tesla LIB electric vehicles, Boeing aircraft, Zippo lighters, high end audio gear, many Automobiles from the big American "GM & friends"
But also really high end long lasting electronics in critical applications by Allen Bradly, or any of many motorcycle makers or makers of high end aircraft or spacecraft electronics, or electrical gear for industrial manufacturing automation, robots, high end motors, chemicals, fuels, steel, concrete, usually the highest end of everything, think expensive high quality best in class gear, titanium, novel super alloys, novel ceramics, novel computer chips, novel chip designs, novel software, noting that the intellectual work that goes into chip design & software engineering is work, and while AI getting better and cheaper than people at some of this work, it was Americans working at Intel, Microsoft, Adobe, NVIDIA, Facebook or META, Goggle or Alphabet Inc, did your notice that some of the worlds most famous tech and most valuable companies, in gaming, in PC, in laptop, in smartphone, in internet, in high performance fiber optic network, in satellite internet services, in e-commerce.
Did you notice that $11 trilling dollars per year of GDP in America not inflated, but real numbers with evidence unlike the counterfeit claims of the CCP and about China's failing economy, where investors and companies are pulling out of China now, but the reality of the USA transforming from a manufacturing hub of the world after the end of WWII to a majority services economy of today, does not me we stopped making things in the USA, but instead what we are making has changed, very high value added goods that have to be as high quality as possible.
Even Honda famously made the new NSX at low volume bespoke US racecar building factory, low volume, as high quality as possible, and most of the worlds nicest satellites, longest lasting and most reliable are also made in America, as was the NASA JWST and Hubble Space Telescopes, or The Space Shuttle and now Artimis, notice how the nicest most expensive things are still made in America or Made in the USA, that's because USA business outsources shoe making and clothing manufacturing to low regulation cheap labor 3rd world developing economies because in those product classes margins are thin if they are made to OSHA safety standards by American's working with benefits in safe factory well made in America.
Notice how Tesla factories in the USA are painted bright white inside, with very bright lighting, clean, sterile, precise, America also does the most advanced surgeries, the most advanced surgical robots, the best machines to do laser eye surgery, or CT scans or MRI imaging, notice high value added, specialized, low volume, niche, highest performing, longest lasting, most reliable, the USA beams with advanced manufacturing of the world's highest performance goods and services of all kinds, usually not the cheapest, not the most widely available, just the best, and nothing less. When it comes to the best helicopters, the best airplanes, the best computers, the best chips designs, the best smartphones, the best almost always made in America, including some of the brightest people in the world studying at MIT, who innovate nearly every class of material or product as college research projects, often working with DARPA for military industrial gear, noting that BDS of Boeing and Northrup Grumman also makes the most novel weapons systems, not the cheapest, the most high technology, the worlds first reuseable rockets made by SpaceX in America.
