American has a soft socialism welfare state system with names like Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid almost famous amongst American people as a whole, even though seniors are generally the only peoples who derive benefits from such schemes of state welfare that protects older people from elder poverty.
3a. Draconian measures to make working people pay for their parents seems like the government getting too deep into people's personal lives. I don't think legislating morality or piety makes sense. No laws can make parents love their children or make children love their parents. Such laws do not make sense & not practical or logical.

I have been known to make disparaging remarks about people nearby who got to buy homes for song & dance prices like $5000 to $65,000 when the same homes now sell for $700,000 to $1.5 million USD2023. Sure inflation of the USD or United States Dollar means the actual cost increases are more like 10X, not more, but wages have no increased by that much over the same period of time. That means that homes are much more expensive or less affordable to young people today than they were to elderly people alive today who were young people back then.
42A.I talk about home price inflation & the rising costs of food & other necessities or life's basics, in terms of the progressive Hollowing Out of the Middle Class of America with increasing income inequality that increases the wealth of elite income earners like most billionaires while many people are slipping into the working poor class, who are home poor and unable to take time off of work or who cannot actually afford to have children. Many American women now take measures to not become pregnant because they are vividly well aware of how expensive it is to become a parent, especially nearby, near Seattle, Wa, USA.
010. With a looming stock market crash, currency inflation out of control, national debt increasing out of control, interest rates climbing, commercial building real estate vacant & not being leased because many people are working from home online over computers & high-speed internet connections.

Many countries are dropping the USD as a reserve currency and the War in the Ukraine rages on, while rumors of WWIII or World War 3 abound with China against the rest of the world and bioweapons in small plastic face spraying drone clusters weapons deployed almost worse than a nuclear holocaust from worldwide nuclear war, given the scope of something much more powerful than COVID19 that can reduce human population worldwide by 90% within 6 months.
07. A near term future Sun output CME will cause an electrical storm on Earth so powerful it will knock out most power grids worldwide, cause internet & cell phone outages that last months. I am talking about plunging people into the dark ages without anything other than AM radio to get information.
0.9C Natural gas, water, food, gasoline, none of these services will work & there will be shortages of everything & crazy price spikes on any supplies available for sale. Bottled water, toilet paper & bullets will be hot commodities in short supply that people will pay through the nose for. Guns will become more valuable than precious metals. A working vehicle will be nearly priceless.
83A. Organized militias and gangs will take over. It will be very hard, very painful, very difficult, very expensive, very unpleasant and life will become a lot worse for most people. Most people will die from starvation or commit suicide. Instead of thriving, the world will plunge into disorganized chaos. People alive today have no idea about the horrid future they are facing.
46C. Blind to the extended grid power outages lasting 6-9 months & how that will wipe out their fridge, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher & other appliances, not even lamps or bulbs will be able to be energized. Even people with backup generators will run out of fuel in short order since gas stations cannot pump fuel without electricity. Water pumping & natural gas pumping stations do not work without electricity. Being in a city during these times will be dangerous. Gangs will invade homes to strip any useful resources & kill anyone who gets in their way. Most people in suburbia and cities nearby will be murdered by criminal gangs.
Y00.Try as much as possible to enjoy your time alive today, the future is going to be a lot worse in every way. I really wish I had been born in the 1940's so I could grow old & die before WWIII. Being an American young adult during the 1960's space program would have been so exciting. Having access to affordable homes, appliances that last a lifetime, before globalization, when most things sold were made in America by other Americans. I think America peaked as a country in 1968 & like the UK, been on life support since then, slowly declining. At least that's what it seems like from what I read online, from the NEWS 24/7 coverage of what's happening in the world.
0. This is part of why I doubled down on my faith in God. I have a deep-seated suspicion that the world is going to fall apart suddenly with little warming, like a spurt or fit, with a huge global collapse of electrical grids & financial markets, causing government failures, whole economies to fall apart, war, chaos & environmental tipping point failure runaway climate change & worse will unfold making food so expensive that people will starve to death unable to buy food or water. Countries will collapse & descend into crime & chaos. Government failures will cause massive unemployment. It will not be a nice time to be alive as a person on Earth.
