Starvation & malnutrition are serious problems in many parts of the world, and that makes wasting 66 tons of food every second a moral imperative.

We have an urgent need to stop wasting food and to distribute foods faster and more efficiently at lower cost to reduce starvation and malnutrition to help other people.

In wealthy countries season-less perpetual grocery store fridge food access food abuse causes obesity, chronic inflammation behind heart disease the biggest killer, but also the metabolic basis of many cancers, dementia, even ADD, ADHD and Alzheimers diseases are linked to chronically elevated blood glucose levels, while high blood pressure, sedentary lifestyles and food abused are linked to nearly all chronic diseases which western medicine is terrible at treating with small molecule prescription drugs, medical imaging or surgeries in hospitals which are much better adapted at good patient outcomes from acute injuries like those created in many violent car and motorcycle accidents, or similar sports injuries.

Chronic stress elevates cortisol, causing sleep disorders, while also accelerating the formation of visceral fat around the organs, especially swelling up the liver and causing weight gain, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, mental exhaustion, emotional disturbances, and mental health problems that seem to plague America with epidemic kidney failure from chronic dehydration, made worse by persistently high blood glucose from added sugars, too many starches and carbs, or UPF or ultra processed food consumption, not real foods high in fiber and health fats like olive oil, nuts and seeds, leafy greens, Whole Foods plant based diet proven to make people healthy, happier and improve their overall health and wellness when combined with adequate levels of physical activities such as going for regular walks with enough intensity to work up and sweat and move the blood around the body and brain to reduce the risks of strokes, clotting and embolisms that no one wants, largely caused by sitting around too much and not moving enough + an unhealthy western industrial American processed and ultra processed food diet that is making people in India and China fat and sick even as children today.
