Neoclassical DTM Motorsports Oozing w/ Style

A special homologation car sold to satisfy group A Touring rule regulation required 5000 models to be sold to the general public or made available for purchase by random people. Launched at the 1985 Motor Show in Frankfurt Germany, first generation M3 sold from model years 1986 though 1991. I believe that automotive quality peaked in the 1990's because the vehicles had a tasteful amount of plastic and electronics while being mostly metal, steel and aluminum respectively. 

My late friend Matt Mayo purchased as used first gen. M3 at an automotive auction for $12,000 very beat up but still working and took me for a ride on the edge of my seat pushing it to its limits, the most intense vehicle experience at this point in 2002. The same year I went with another friend down to SIR or Pacific Raceways on a random Tuesday in the early morning. Upon arriving we noticed the racing team, and they were excited to have visitors to their practice session of the CAN-AM series and gave us each a thrilling ride in these tuned V8 sedans with big sticky racing tires with amazing grip. The race car drivers were physically fit and the forces inside the car pushed to its edge were astonishing. A road car like that would drift out of control after the all-season tires lost traction with much less spirited driving. On the other hand, racing tires wear out in less than 1000 miles while typical passenger car tires last 30,000, 60,000, or 90,000 miles by comparison. 

Plastic Where Metal Belongs

After 2003 the increasing use of plastics in engines and shrinking of gearing in transmissions with more gears, and the integration of hundreds of computer modules and tons of wiring mean that after 2003 some automobiles are actually vastly less reliable long term than older models, especially Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, GM, Ford, Jaguar, Bently, though Toyota hit or miss, tends to still sell lots of highly reliable vehicles that hold up well for many hundreds of thousands of miles, but even the 1989-1994 Lexus LS400 with its non-interference 4 liter 1UZ V8 went on to become the most reliable longest lasting engine Toyota ever made and was adapted for use in FAA approved aircraft where quality control standards are much more stringent than in typical automotive applications. I believe the only reliable supercars are made by Koenigsegg and cost millions.

Vehicles Are Swelling in Size Like Many People

Newer M3 are bigger and heavier and have too much sound insulation for NVH cancelation and the engines do not sound nearly as good. Electronic power steering and drive be wire disconnect the driver from road feedback, which is nice in real world commuting, like our numb steer with a finger Toyota Prius III, but not engaging or fun perse, though playing with getting the highest fuel economy possible hypermiling can add a challenge even with the boring CVT PSD HSD drivetrain.

Fat and happy was an expression, but being obese means the bodies fat cells are in state of chronic inflammation, increasing the risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke, clotting, embolisms, high blood pressure, T2D or type 2 diabetes, and the diet that causes obesity well proven with a growing body of evident in medicine and physiology, contains a lot of added sugars, simple starches and simple carbs in excess, from soda pop, candy, UPF foods with lots of unhealthy fats, salt and sugar added to hit the bliss point in industrial food engineering. Think fat Americans exporting harm with unhealthy diet ideas to China and India where even children are now morbidly obese and sick with many diseases because of it, from eating American Style Western bagged and boxed with colorful labels and strange ingredients heavily processed foods. This is made worse because high living costs mean no one is home to cook home cooked meals anymore.

Hypermiling a Hybrid can be Fun

In our 2022 Corolla Hybrid for example I drive gaming myself to get over 70 mile per US gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, and average about 58 MPG on good weeks and 55 MPG when I drive more normal without focusing on hypermiling, and 48 MPG if I drive faster, and 42 MPG if I drive really fast like a video game or like I stole it!

Other Fun Cars

Other thoughts or vehicle analogs that come to mind. A Toyota AE86 or MR2-Turbo, Celica GT-S 4-track, GR Corolla today, the OEM first generation M3 based on the E30 generational 3 series, BMW's highly volume selling sedan today, though somewhat dethroned by Tesla Model 3 sales, I will never again personally buy a battery electric vehicle. Even the slower underpowered Mazda Miata or Toyota 86 or Subaru BRZ can be a lot of fun to drive :) I like the Polaris Slingshot too! That seems like a fun alternative to a motorcycle someday. 

EV Battery Lies & Confusion

When EV battery pack faded, it can cost 10, 20 or 30 thousand dollars to replace too, in 12 years after new. If you trade in every 4 years or less, you will never notice, but if you buy a used EV beware! Tesla will only allow Tesla to work on Tesla EV's with software lockouts like newer John Deer farming equipment. This is anti-device repair ethics, or unethical or immoral or scandalously greedy! When you buy and own something, its yours to do whatever you want with.

Device Repair Ideology

Companies that cheat you with a EULA or end user licensing agreement are engaged in fraud or abuse or crime in my opinion. I spent about 8 years professionally replacing smartphone batteries in sealed phones with non-user serviceable internal adhesive bonded batteries that are challenging or difficult for a non-technical person without special training and special tools to replace successfully. The number one reason that people upgrade their smartphones, because the old one has a weak battery that runs out of charge quickly. That is why Apple, Samsung and other smartphone OEM's designed sealed lithium polymer batteries in most smartphones that sell at high volumes around the world in most countries today.

EV Battery Fade Problems

Burned by range loss of battery capacity in 3 different generation of Nissan LEAF, 2013, 2015, and 2019 respectively. They all had radical loss of battery capacity that increased with time, gradually reducing range and increasing range anxiety or stressing anxiety about running out of battery before reaching your destination while driving an EV with a low state of charge battery that's rapidly running out of juice as your driving up the hill with the defroster running and heat because its freezing cold winter outside.

If you buy an EV they are ok for the first 4 year while the battery newer, but if the manufacturers claim 200 miles of range, that's best case on a perfectly windless day free flowing traffic on flat roads with a tailwind in warm enough weather that you don't use the seat heaters or HVAC at all. In the real world, when crossing mountain passes, driving up steep hills or going faster on the highway, that range they claimed is more like 50% less that what they said. High-powered Electric Kick Scooters

I was talking to parent of an elementary student who rides 2 up with his daughter on a outrageously powerful battery electric kick scooter, that's really well made, but costs sex thousand dollars. While the official range 70 miles, and its able to hit a max speed of 70 miles per hour, the owner said "you only get that kind of long range if you ride it slower than 40 mph, and never full throttle hard accelerate, and don't ride up steep hills. Riden with more spirited faster riding it's more like 25 miles of range.

Our Second E-Bike

Steep hill rides juice the Lectric XP3.0 e-bike battery really quickly with PAS on level 4 or 5. Pedal Assist or PAS levels 1 through 5 provide increasing levels of electric motor power torque that make riding an e-bike about half as hard while going twice as fast, as a regular bicycle. E-bike means electric motor assist and a onboard battery pack that you charge that gives the motor energy, usually a dash computer that tells the speed of the E-bike and its battery charge level and PAS setting, time or day or other useful information like pedal cadence or pedal power input from your legs muscles. On level flatter fair weather ground, the XP3.0 has a twist and go electric only range of 25 miles that can be extended to 50 miles if you use PAS and pedal with human body energy muscle use. To conquer the hills nearby, I have to pedal full out breathing hard standing on the pedals level in PAS 4 setting to actually climb the steepest parts.

Our First E-bike Stollen

Back in 2010 my first e-bike was a PRODECO Phantom X, but that was stollen in 2014 during a power outage on Saturday, so the metal gate to the locked underground parking garage opened automatically using the battery backup, but that enabled a criminal to go to the basement, where he climbed over my car and lifted the 54 lb. folding e-bike, though the battery was not on it, and I had the charger upstairs with the battery in our unit as well. I had installed a GPS tracker in the e-bikes upper tube frame, working with the FBI on a bait bicycles, along with the Seattle Police and helped them bust a bicycle theft ring in Puget Sound. My first e-bike ended up in China along with many other local bait bikes equipped with large battery backup GPS trackers. Law enforcement gave me the tracker for free since I made all the special battery packs for their other bait bikes. I was glad to help bust the theft ring.

Consider Your Daily Commute

I work 16 miles away from where we live, but there are 3 up and down hills that make it take more than 40 minutes one way and dangerous from the lack of dedicated trails or bike paths, forcing me to ride in roadways with motor vehicles. Riding our 13 Honda PCX150 or 20 Yamaha MTO3 or driving one of our cars on the same route takes less than 20 minutes in the morning, while driving home in car takes over an hour, the 2-wheel vehicles can lane split easily reducing the time home to around 24 minutes using every mostly safe for expert rider semi-legal trick under the sun.

Do You Like Being Cold or Cold & Wet?

I asked 718 different people in first person, last year, every day several people, and found that with 2 exceptions, most people do not like being wet and cold at the same time, so they are unwilling to ride a bicycle or motorcycle or motor scooter during rainy, rainy cold or cold winter days. Dry cold days can be easily corrected with heated grips, heated gloves, warm boots, warm jacket, warm pants, anything to keep you dry and warm. Windchill on an exposed 2-wheel vehicle increases with speed, making the air seem even colder than it is. What makes a motor vehicle riding experience cooler in the summer with a nice breeze and wind cooling makes it colder and painful in freezing winter rainy cold conditions. I am fair weather rider for now.

Fair Weather Riding My Cup of Tea :)

Riding in rain extra dangerous because 2-wheel vehicles have much less tire contact area than a typical automobile with 4 tires. Automobile tires each have a contact patch the size of an A10 sheet of paper. A typical motorcycle or scooter or bicycle tire has less than a few square inches of tire contact area. This is why sand and gravel on asphalt or concrete are hazardous to riders much more than drivers of automobiles, but also why riding in the rain much more dangerous.

Family Car History

My parents both owned and operated different cars when I was a child riding in these cars growing up. I have been around different vehicles with engines my entire life. One of my earliest memories is riding passenger seat with my late adoptive mother Connie driving her 1985 Ford Mustang, and she drove it with gusto or lead foot, what her husband called "Parnelli Jones" or "Mario Andretti" style. She got so many tickets for speeding in her middle years that she drove very calmly as an older woman. 

2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro 

She left me her last car, in her estate, after passing on to the "other side" to be with "The Lord" our God, in "Heaven". Interestingly I had a dream 4 days before she finally passed, and told her about the dream, where I spoke with and hung out with my late adoptive father who had died 7 years earlier. Many of the dog's we had as a family growing up were also there in spirit. Their second daughter who had died in a freak snow accident was also there. Ken & Erika were telling me in the dream that they were waiting for Connie to return home. A week after she passed, I had a vivid dream of driving around with her for almost 4 hours talking about life where she actively encouraged me to calm down, be peaceful, look for joy, beauty and love in other people and animals and to show myself and other people forgiveness freely and easily and quickly when I make a mistake or when someone wrongs me. 

Learning From People in Heaven

She told me that God told her to tell me that my primary mission in this life is to learn and practice showing genuine loving kindness to all other people, no matter what happens, in all situations for the rest of my life. What was most amazing, that I got to see her appearing around 35 years old, where in reality she died at age 76, and while she was nice looking as an older woman, she was very beautiful as a younger woman in the dream. I was born 37 years after her in real life. In the dream she was also a lot more energetic and positive with verbal affirmations, encouragement, edification, trying to teach me everything I had been missing in life, and telling me that she forgave me for all the times I screamed at her mean things from being angry because she triggered me by saying off things to me that dug deep insulting me in a way that I always found surprising given how those insults affected me so deeply. 

Finding Peace, Joy & Happiness

The conversation lasted so long we covered way too many subjects to summarize, but she told me that she was proud of the man that I had become. That it was ok to be upset by the bad things in life, but to not allow those things to weigh on my so much and to forgive the flawed confused sinners who are habitually sinning and doing those evil sick things to other people in the world, because they are doomed to never even visit heaven and are condemned to an eternity in hell as a punishment in the afterlife for their lack of repentant hearts of cold callous calculating extreme selfishness, pride, arrogances and greed. 

People Have Asked Me If I Had a Makeover

Angry outburst of loud verbal a chaos were a periodic feature of my personality, even through 2022. By 2023 I had read the Christian Bible twice and was remade in the image of God, though faith in Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit who softened my heart, reducing my blood pressure, improving my sleep and undoing diabetes type 2. My relationships, especially with my lovely wife finally improved substantially. 

Deep Inner Transformation Through Faith

I am now a much happier, more positive, reasonable, patient person and have slowed down more, thinking of other people as better than me. Its ok if they go first and I am last. Humility never came easy, but is happier place mentally and emotionally. One of my old bosses told me years ago "Your Not Everyone" then in 2022 a coworker told me "You don't have to understand something to like it" and those two ideas are very powerful at removing stress and anxiety. "You do not have to answer for other peoples actions or sin or words or choices" but you have a responsibility to calmly respond and never escalate, to never react or lose control. 

Do Not React, Respond Wisely

When you notice your body or mind reacting negatively to something that someone else had done or said, stop and immediately call your mind into obedience to what you know is right in your heart. Everyone has encoded in their heart, the knowledge of good and evil, such that all adult people have an intrinsic moral and ethical sense of right and wrong. A persons heart an be hardened so that they less sensitive or less aware of this inner heart knowledge, but its always there, and people always have agency or choice to deescalate, to calmly respond, to not take things personally, to be respectful and polite and treat other people with decency even if they do not deserve it. 

Exclude Toxic People from Your Life

That does not mean that you have to be affiliated or friends with bad actors, it just means that you are a natural leader, doing your best to do your duty to God and other people, being morally, physically, and mentally strong, making the best of your finitize time alive, speaking kind words that other people find pleasing or encouraging to hear. If you are going to interact with a toxic person because its unavoidable, then be very careful to listen, speak only in ways that do not upset the other person, and its ok to not respond if they ask you inappropriate questions or say mean things to you.

Dark Forces in Dark Places Oppose You

Do not take it personally, recognizing that we are not wrestling flesh and blood only, but very real principalities, powers, demons and Satan who operate in other dimensional planes without biological limitations like humans, and these evil being hate God, hate the word of God in the Bible and hate human people, hate Gods creation, are bitter, angry and unforgiving, and seek to kill, steal from, corrupt or destroy people by any means and they have perfected the art of whispering lies to people that sound like its their own inner thoughts, then they watch, never sleeping, to see if we come into agreement either verbally or by action with their manipulation. They study people to figure out how to get a foothold to get people to do sick evil things to themselves or other people, or to keep people separated from God's love or the truth about God's only son, Jesus Christ, or about the Holy Spirit who can enable and empower anyone who prays to God in the Holy Name of Christ Jesus. 

Speaking Blessings Over All Other People, Animals & Nature

You don't have to bless sin but separate the sin from the sinner. Everyone is a flawed hypocrite at some level. No one is perfect and all people fall short of the Glory of God, that way no man can boast proudly with any real legitimacy. 

God does not recognize human titles, so that makes snobs, politicians and billionaires very confused. They can't take the money with them after death, since human currencies from earth have no value in other dimensions or to God in heaven, who created everything. All people are just finite children compared to God. 

God wants to see his human children living Godly lives of moral integrity and ethical courage, doing the right things at all times especially when no one else is watching. You cant hide anything from God because he has x-ray vision and see's though everything, even into the hearts and minds of people, knowing the secrete motives of their hearts. 

God says in the Bible that we are to speak blessings over other people, stop and pray for other people. We are even supposed to bless people that curse us. While it is easy to be nice to other nice people, it takes Godly wisdom and discipline and self-control to treat rude and mean people with blessings or worse of loving kindness. 

Remember, we have not been given a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, and of love, and a sound, well balanced, disciplined and self-controlled mind. That means you call all your thoughts into the subjection of Christ Jesus, who went around healing thousands of people, teaching them and us to sincerely love the Lord our God, the master creator of everything in all realms, who regains supreme as the all-knowing all powerful and only master deity in all dimensions. 

We are talking about a God who breathes out stars systems by his will and voice, his word has unimaginable power. God has the answer to all problems, knows everything about all things, and even knows the secretes in your mind or heart. No one can hide anything from God, for by the light of God all sin is illuminated. 

Prior to 2009, I hated myself and others. I not only never helped anyone else, except my parents, but also had evil thoughts and bad intentions. Thankfully I never acted on any of those thoughts, and never listened to those thoughts to make me do anything bad and instead used internet and Wikipedia to distract myself into learning more and gaining understanding that eventually became empathy, sympathy and genuine concern to see other people happy and healthy and slowly learning to love myself the way God instructs in the Bible. I was only able to do that after reading the Bible to know what God says about people, and I think you would be well served to read it to or at least Thinking About It to get started. 

If you were able to read this, you can read the Bible. I have read other spiritual texts in the past including English translations of Quran. I chose the path of Faith in Christ Jesus as a Christian because the central tenant of Christianity is real love. Love is the basis of salvation, of Gods grace and compassion, his undeserved favor and blessings. Everything exists because God willed it into existence. God wants you to have a happy healthy life, like a well-beloved child who listens to his fatherly advice about proper human conduct, or the divine truth!
