Simple language to explain climate change!
People burn things to make fire. Heat from the fire used to cook & to make hot gas pressure to make vehicles move.
When things are burned, burning combines air with carbon & makes carbon dioxide, a gas that traps more of the sun's energy in the air & over time this makes the world have more intense storms, hotter summer temperatures, colder winter temperatures, more wildness changes in the weather that causes damage to homes & can knock out the power or worse. We call these changes caused by burning things, climate change that people are causing.
We have other ways to make energy with solar panels & wind turbines & hydro dams & nuclear reactors that use piles of radioactive elements to make heat to boil water into steam that spins generators to make electricity for everyone.
Scientists say we need to stop burning carbon, because burning carbon makes air pollutants that are bad for people's lungs & brain. Burning carbon like gasoline, coal, diesel fuel & natural gas creates climate changing gases that trap more of the Sun's heat on Earth, making things change faster in ways that are dangerous & not good for people now & really bad for people in the future.
We need to replace carbon fuels with renewables & nuclear energy to reduce climate change from human activity. Eventually if everyone works together everywhere, we can actually reverse climate change & control the Earth Sun balance to stop climate change & control weather in ways that are good for growing food in nature & making clean air & clean water for people & animals for a long time or sustainably.

When we work together worldwide, we can do Earth engineering to control climate & weather
Phasing out gasoline, diesel & coal & natural gas will make cleaner air for everyone
Without carbon emissions, bodies of water on earth will not acidify, which is bad for fish
Acid rain forms when carbon emissions mix with raindrops, causes rust & corrosion
