I am not a zealot about sugar or alcohol toxicity, as both can consumed safely in small doses or small servings, such that less than 50 grams of sugar daily for an adult seems like a reasonable level, just as a single serving of alcoholic beverage with dinner when the person going to stay home for many hours after drinking the single serving so their blood alcohol level declines well below the legal limit, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a small desert item, small serving of ice-cream, a few pieces of candy or similar.

Globalization of bad dietary habits brought a high sugar, high saturated fat, high salt, empty calorie chips and cereals, and soda, and ultra processed snack food, and engineered added sugar beverages have exploded in popularity worldwide. 

A single 12 oz soda pop can contain up to 38 grams of added sugar, usually in America as high fructose corn system made from genetically engineered inedible industrial corn. So drinking a single soda not going to harm most people, but not everyone is the same. 

Consider the nutritional requirements for a 3 year old human vs a 45 year old adult human. Just the differences in body mass and size mean radically different daily nutritional requirements.

How about fitness, exercise, or activity levels? How long do you have to ride a bicycle or walk or jog or run before your bonk with a low blood sugar level? That depends on your fitness level, age, gender, genetics and other factors, like how big is your liver and do you have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease from abusing carbohydrates, sugars and other high glycemic index foods in very large servings so often that you are also overweight and have type 2 diabetes? 

When a avid cyclist is actively riding and their leg muscle output effort burning energy then that person can afford to consumer high glycemic index carbs as gels or fluids or similar because the resulting elevation of blood glucose will be reduced by using the glucose in the muscles to power the bicycle though the leg activity actions and activation of the muscle in the legs to facilitate riding long distances over long durations of time, in marathon style long rides.

Grocery stores are a complicated maze with more than 40,000 items, the majority of which are made of ultra processed foods where the fiber has been removed and where added sugars dominate and where fats have been removed. Strange chemical ingredients are abundantly present with more than 10,000 different chemicals perfectly legal by the FDA to add to processed foods. Your known you are buying a processed food if it comes in a container with nutritional label, ingredients listing, funny health claims on colorful labels, in a brightly colored box or bag or plastic or glass container or can. Read the ingredients and if you see added sugars put that product down and get the alternative that has no added sugar. 

Making Ice-cream at Home. 

When I make ice-cream I use a mixture of whole milk, half&half, or heavy cream (organic) and add vanilla extract or vanilla beans, a small amount of sugar mixed with stevia, xylitol, such that the resulting ice cream contains 75% less sugar than commercial ice cream. This is a type of custard ice-cream that is low in sugar, with more creamy dairy fat, as an emollient mixture of fats, air, water, sugar and salt + vanilla flavor and eggs, that is very tasty, delicious, with a lovely aroma.

I mix between 4 to 8 eggs yolks with the sugar and vanilla extract and salt in a glass bowl using a stainless steel whisk. 

The milk and cream are heated in a stainless steel pot until they reach 109 F, at which point I start slowly adding the sugar egg vanilla & salt while vigorously whisking to prevent the continually heated milk cream mixture from cooking the egg yolk. 

Once the ice cream mixture cools in the pot to just above room temperature, I transfer the ice cream mix back to the glass bowl, and cover the bowl with aluminum foil, then place the coved down in the fridge to reduce its temperature to 38 F. 

In the freezer the ice cream machine bowl made of a plastic bowl with a steel liner contains a salt mixture that is frozen to below 0 F in the freezer. The ice cream bowl is removed from the freezer and installed into the motor rotation base of the ice cream machine, then the white plastic paddle that scapes and mixes is added to the bowl, then the clear plastic cover is added such that it holds the paddle in place as the bowl rotates. The ice cream mixture removed from the fridge, aluminum removed and then slowly carefully poured into or added to the rotating churning assembly and it takes about 20 minutes to form soft-serve. 

Review Ingredients of the Custard Ice-cream || 5 Cup Recipe 

2 cups of whole milk organic

1 cup of half&half or heavy cream organic

4 egg yolks

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon stevia

1 table spoon of xylitol

1/2 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of real vanilla extract

The stevia and xylitol replace the sugar, since a normal recipe like that calls for 4X more sugar. In order to reduce the glycemic index, improve the nutritional profile, make it more savory, but still sweet, the salt, egg yolks, vanilla extract., salt and sugars combine with the milk fats and water to make a sweet savory custard ice cream thats lower in sugar while still being very delicious or highly enjoyable to eat.  

Ultra-processed ice-cream by comparison contains many more ingredients, modified starches, artificial flavors, "natural" flavors, dye, colors, more sugars and many kinds of sugar, preservative chemicals and other not healthy to consume chemicals food additives that the FDA does not regular. 

Real food, like fruits, nuts, seeds, berries, meat, fish, milk, butter, are found around the outside parameter of a typical grocery store. The processed food items are in the center isle and shelves with colorful packing with nutritional labels in bags and boxes. 

How to Gain Weight & Acquire Type 2 Diabetes

Eat lots of sugar, simple carbs, drink soda & fruit juice, snack on candy all day, sit around watching a screen and never exercise. Insulin is a blood hormone that opens locks in cells to enable the cells to take in blood glucose, where the blood glucose then converted to glycogen and body fat. Insulin removes sugar from human blood and stores those sugars in the body as body fat. Going back in human history, sugars were seasonable, rare, or hard to find or expensive, and not readily available, as all food was raw, natural, local and unprocessed, during the hunter gatherer age in antiquity. That means our body was never setup genetically to handle nutritional abuse from excess consumption of refined sugar, processed carbs, and starches. 

Eating meat & dairy provides the body with essential amino acids required for health & to prevent diseases, promoting better bone density, stronger muscles and improved mental executive function. 

Eating sugary western diseases of civilization industrial ultra processed foods a surefire way to develop high blood sugar, ADD, ADHD, dementia, Alzheimers, some Cancers, Heart Disease, Type 2 & 3 or pre-diabetes or diabetes, and hypertension that increases the risk factors for edema, embolisms, clotting and strokes that no one wants. They are called diseases of civilization because they are associated with industrially produced ultra processed food consumption. In every country around the world where the American Sad Diet adopted, the people become fatter and sicker with diseases that never occurred before the introduction and population of western industrial ultra processed food consumption. This is not a conspiracy theory, its factually accurate, that western industrial food high in sugars, low in fiber, low in healthy fats, and with low quality proteins, usually questionable seed oils made from GMO soy beans via 26 industrial chemical processing stages. Plant oils sold for cooking are inferior to olive oil and butter and lard, since cooking in butter, lard and olive or coconut oil associated with a reduction in all diseases. Vegetable oil is cheap because it's produced like gasoline at an industrial scale using the same kinds of processing that crude oil undergoes to become transportation fuels. Ironically these same seed oils can be burned as fuel in modified VGO fueling diesel engines.

Mommy & Daddy are getting a divorce, we both have to work full time just to make enough to cover life's expenses and can't really afford to have children, so we didn't, but we never have time to spend with one another, and come home tired, hungry, so where is that TV dinner? DINKs were called yuppies in the past, able to live the high life without the constraints of parenting, but the wages only went up a little since then while the cost of life basics has done up a lot, so now husband and wife both have to work just to cover lines basics and thats without children. Having children now means a person has to make two hundred thousand or more per year. This means that children are luxury item for high income earners now. This means the middle class American Dream died years ago, along with the declining value of the USD or dollar as it is known around the world. This gives convenience ready to eat or simple to rapidly prepare processed foods a major advantage over raw ingredients that have to be cooked into real dishes made from scratch in what can take hours from start to finish including the dishes. 

Food Addiction Manipulation In Common Ultra Processed Foods

Lets not forget the biggest most lucrative beverage industry in the world, that regularly includes added sugars, artificial flavors, synthetic colors and other questionable substances to spirits, alcohol, beer, wine, and ethanol containing intoxicating beverages like Kombucha (joke, given low 1-3% alcohol content) 

Look at the harm the Alcohol causes society and how the governments of the world do virtually nothing to reduce consumption of adult beverages. I consider beer part of the food industry because beer contains water, carbohydrates, proteins, amino acids and many other food like substances. Ethanol is a GABA receptor activator, such that when people drink alcohol it turns off parts of their brain and more of their brain is turned off if they increase the amount of alcohol consumed during a drinking session. When I drink a little bit of beer with my father in law and wife at dinner, I consume about 4 oz in a tiny glass since I have negative reaction to any more than that but enjoy the flavor, taste, aroma, smell, mouth feel, and relief from the essential tremor that ethanol provides in small doses. Look at the Economic Cost, Injuries, Family Adversities, Environmental Damage and Community Harm caused by different substance of abuse, including alcohol the one that scored highest when compared to all the other narcotics and psychoactive recreational and drugs of abuse.

I am just old enough to reminder these tobacco industry characters, or graphics used in Cigarette ads.

Back in the Black & White TV days before 1960, commercial TV ads showed doctors smoking cigarettes, suggesting that leading doctors smoke this brand instead of that other brand. It was known as early as 1858 that cigarettes are toxic to human health. 

Did you know that a cigarette is only about 30 tobacco? The rest of the cigarette is made of reclaim and fluff where all the fun special chemicals are added so that nicotine enters the blood stream faster and exists the body faster, making the cigarette even more addictive with ammonia chemistry and other trade secrete chemical additives, like the flavor pellets in the filter and worse, made entirely of synthetic chemicals designed to make them more addictive.

Now Yogurt products with lots of added sugar have the same kind of sensory highjacking engineered into the product. Junk foods like bags of chips, candy, ice cream, novelties, but also bread with 26 ingredients, rice full of arsenic that you have to rinse 5X to clean while most people don't even know about this and don't read the package. 

People are too trusting thinking that bread, rice and pasta are metabolically safe to consume with virtually no ideas the over consumption of these simple high glycemic index carbs become body fat and cause weight gain and obesity, type 2 diabetes after an earlier brush with the symptoms of type 3 diabetes which is high blood pressure or hypertension, ringing in the ears, pain in the joints, inflammation. Let me be perfectly clear, obesity increases inflammation in the body, not the other way around. Inflammation does not cause obesity, obesity causes inflammation.

The science is perfect clear since a long ranging debate about this abounded for so long, the official science says obesity caused increased inflammation in then body. That's a lot of pain and suffering from eating western diets of disease caused by eating ultra processed junk foods like Oreo Cookies or drinking Soda Pop like Coca-Cola which is known to cause gum disease and eat the enamel off of teeth. They add phosphoric acid to soda to "preserve the flavor" and while that might work it also is so acidic it will dissolve teeth away.

There are children as young as 6 that have rotted away all their teeth from constant consumption of highly acidic sugar soda pop from different brands, though I pick on Coca-cola because they are the largest player and most guilty of trying to make soda sound healthy and blame consumer for buying soda instead of bottles of RO water out of the same vending machine or at the same grocery store. "No one has to pick soda pop" and while that is true, people are being bombarded by engineered food products to highjack their brain, causing them to buy junk food, and so many people today do not know how to cook from raw ingredients, so their diet consists entirely of pre-prepared engineered foods with strange ingredients.

Fiber missing, since fiber reduces shelf life and makes it hard to freeze foods, fiber is removed from processed foods on purpose. As a result many Americans and other people eating western diet are deficient in fiber consumption and have digestive problems as a result of not getting enough fiber in their diet. 

People are not drinking enough water to stay well hydrated enough to protect their kidneys or brain. Combine cold and flu viruses, stress from work or parenting, an onslaught of negative world news, and social division, we see an increase in stress, anxiety, fear, depression and suicides, and a loneliness epidemic of shut-ins that never leave their homes, often staying in one room for months at a time. Given that you can order groceries online and have food delivered, some people spent years without ever leaving their house.

It is not the purpose of my blog to do an extensive expose of what the Bible says about pollution or polluters, but it does warm against polluting the land where we live very clearly saying that such brings a curse or chemical poisoning induced diseases (see toxicology, preventable diseases, pollution impact on public health) and other related ecology, environmental science & similar medicine and physiology concepts about home common pollutants interfere with electron transport chain or citric acid cycle TCA or mitochondrial function, by effectively blocking the conversion of ADP to ATP, since ATP need as cellular energy for nearly all cells of the human body to function.

I am saying that many common tailpipe pollutants smog forming hydrocarbon fumes and particles and similar are toxic to human lung cells, just like Tetraethyl-lead or TEL that was previously added to gasoline as an octane improved or anti-knock agent resulting in trillions upon trillions of tiny lead particles to be blown around out of millions of vehicle tailpipes into the air near the ground where other people were breathing in the lead, which also causes kidney and brain damage.

As such leaded gasoline was phased out of most countries with 2011 Algeria being the last country to phase over to unleaded gasoline. 100LL or low lead gasoline still sold at some airports for use in lower cost piston powered helicopter engines that require the lead as a lubricating anti-knock agent, though the petrochemical fuels industry has developed and is commercialization for widespread availability a lead-free version of AVGAS for use in piston power helicopters.

Combustion challenging to clean up because air mostly nitrogen and only about 19% oxygen. In terms of combustion chemistry, and ideal combustion of a hydrocarbon in oxygen with perfect stoichiometry and perfect combustion conditions, would only result in water vapor and carbon diode emissions. I set out as a child to be a lifelong student of any topic that cross my metal deck. I woke up today imagining how to improve the thermal performance of our new portable fridge by modifying the way waste heat can escape and how to add insulation to the cold chamber so the compressor comes on less often and the food stays cold with a stable cold temperate with minimal heat loss. 

Consider the window mounted AC units that so many people use, that combine the hot and cold in the same box, when the hot should be outside, and the cold should be inside, so the unit can pump heat from the inside to the outside, to effectively cool indoor spaces in a coherent energy efficient way that considers how heat moves in an AC system, such that a mini-split system that saddles the window sill can move the outside hot coil and blow fan outside to reject waste heat into the outdoor air, while stripping heat from the indoor air on the inside condenser cooling coil and fan, so heat extracted from inside and pumped outside without heat bridging and IR bombardment and other wasted energy and poor thermodynamics inside typical window mounted AC units. 

This is important because apartments are the only practical way to house billions of people, in many hot human locals where AC improves habitation quality and life quality, but the use of inefficient window AC units puts huge avoidable loads on the electric grid and causes brown outs and power outages during the peak seasonable heat loading weather. Can anyone say "Energy Efficiency Focus" high quality air source mini-split combined heater AC units FTW. Do you understand that there are more energy efficient ways to heat and cool homes and buildings? 

This is why scientific education so important and why so many people being scientifically illiterate allows companies to sell inefficient products. If people were more educated about STEM they would demand higher fuel efficiency automobiles, more energy efficient appliances and higher quality housing at reasonable prices. 

When people are more educated they are more informed and more discerning, able to understand efficiency and thermodynamics and energy and related science technology and engineering principles which have a huge effect on economies and life quality for everyone around the world. This is not specific to one people in one country, this is a global problem of energy waste that causes a lot of avoidable pollution that sickens people and nature with toxic substances. 

Coal power emissions for example are full of toxic heavy metals and toxic fine particulate matter, soot, radioactive metal oxides in the fly ash and worse. The problem is that thorium and uranium are present in coal just like arsenic, lead and mercury, and these toxic heavy and radioactive metals end up in the emissions released by coal power generation emissions into the air that everyone shares, having a particularly toxic impact on the land & people that live near the coal power plant. 

War senseless because it means people wasting money, time, thought, energy, materials and more harming, hurting and killing other people. That is insane and logically indefensible. Humans killing other humans! How is that good for human civilization? Why do we teach children to play nice and then allow world governments to have a monopoly on murder? If I commit murder I will go to prison, but when the US government commits murder they are not held accountable, discounting the murder as war. War nonsensical, illogical, immoral, unethical, sinful, greedy, wasteful, inefficient, polluting, harmful, damaging, dangerous, fatal and worse. War releases land mines that indiscriminately blow off peoples legs who accidentally walk across one in the future. War super expensive such that the machines of warfare are only affordable to large wealthy states, not even billionaires can afford a nuclear aircraft carrier. 

When I talk with other educated intellectuals, they say that war is incoherent, terrible, insane, senseless, and wonder like I do why we as a society allow bad actors to take seats of political power. Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitlet, Vladimir Putin, Slobodan Milosevic, Pol Pot, Leopold II, Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin, Vlad III, Ivan the Terrible, Mao Zedong, Genghis Khan 

What is wrong with these people? Did a bird poop in their breakfast? Why are they so angry and why do other people go along with their sick evil plans? You tell me! I have no idea, other than what the Bible says about people who serve the Kingdom of Hell doing evil sin against other people, including harming nature with pollutants and pollution emissions, including war and other evils. 

Extreme individualism, hyper selfishness, self idolatry, materialism, shallow vanity, narcism and self worship are outcomes of western modern cultural consumption ideology where everyone is free to do whatever they want so long as they do not infringe on the freedoms of someone else to do the same. 

America is not a free democracy the way it was before the 1970's, it has devolved into a plutocracy where large corporation has politically representation as special interests who also paid for the increased expensive election campaigns of senators and congressman in the USA, such that these positions are beholden to give special favors to the corporation that paid for their election campaign. 

Scratch my back and I will scratch yours, they patronize the same private golf resorts, vacation to the same exclusive locals, hobnob with elite income earners and engage in plutocratic meetings where the axiom is "all for one and none for everyone else" with the overarching ideology boiling down to global depopulation to radically reduce human population using many different techniques by green washing and protection polluting industries for example, full well knowing that pollution emitted will sicken people with diseases that kill off other people with early mortality, while the elite and their friends enjoy cures to cancer and other expensive cures that no one else has access too. 

A billionaire told me that she personally had a flat high CRI fluorescent tube backlit LCD TV with high contrast of 65 inches in 1962 custom made as a one off for over a million dollars. Rich men's toys have always been low volume production expensive items with novel function much earlier than the mass produced goods with similar functions released much later in history. Engines for examples had been rich mens toy novelties for over 1000 years before mass produced engines enabled automobiles to become a global vehicle reality. 

I imagine that some of the elite people are harvesting stem cells from aborted babies and engages in age reversal, cloning themselves and similar bleeding edge future technologies, in what is tantamount to evil, engaging in strange Oaths and Witchcraft and other kinds of unusual dark arts and similar, so they can become famous or wealthier. Some very wealthy actors have come out publicly telling about the dark oaths they were expected to take in order to become A-list actors. The ones who refused to take the strange demonic oaths were rejected and never became famous. So a lot of household names are as people engages in the dark arts with the kingdom of Hell essentially serving Satan.

Cooler + Bags of Ice Previously 

In the past we used an insulated cooler + bags of ice acquired along the way, during our 8000 mile road trip across the USA in the summer of 2022. That produced a lot of ice melt water, so we kept everything in ziplock bags and it worked, but I had been passively researching portable refrigeration technology under the vaccine fridge concept, stuff that can go to -40F using very little power or energy using a helium working fluid free piston stirling cryogenic compressor technology, but those cost $6500 to $15000, made by Global Cooling & do not have ready availability on Ebay, Amazon or Alibaba for consumer purchasing. I also do not need or want a portable fridge to cool to -40, since I am not storing reproductive fluids, live vaccines or other fragile biological samples that have to be super cold or deeply frozen at very low temperatures.

Case Form Factor Driving Research & Purchase Choice

I also wanted a form factor tall, wide, and narrow that would fit behind the driver or passenger seat of our 2022 Corolla Hybrid. The form factor also tall enough to enable storage of a 64oz whole milk carton, larger beverage bottles, more capacity means more stacking space or interior volume. Most competing units use a wide, deep, shallow design that makes it easier to access the stuff inside, but they are better for trunk areas of SUV's and similar due to the large footprint. Meg & I really liked the color and design and high quality build out of tough ABS. I know about plastics from FDM 3D printing PETG & PLA in our Prusa Mini printer. 

Plastics & Polymers Increasingly Used

I also know about plastics from Tap Plastics and from doing research on Glock and the Nylon 2 used in the lower of Glock Pistols which are otherwise made of CNC metal parts in the upper. I know about polymers from researching why some plastics are used instead of metal in the intake manifolds of engines, to preserve heat in the block & heat for higher thermal efficiency & because the intake brings in cold air the airflow cools the plastic enough to keep it from melding from the combustion heat and is on the cold side of the engine in the front where cold air also being shoved in when the vehicle moving forward. Other engines parts are starting to be made of plastics, to reduce cost and mass, possibly also to limit the operating life of such parts under the banner of designed obsolescence. 

Cost Value Use Case 

It might sound insane to spend two-hundred on a sparingly used item, since we only go camping and on road trips during the summer, but we also have a secondary use case at home for fridge buffering, and this one small enough to fit in underutilized space under the stair case where we store other durable infrequently used items. I wanted to get the ENGLE MR040 but they are $787 used and $899 new, way overpriced. The shape, size, capacity and form factor would also not work in our compact car. I like the ENGLE because it has superior compressor technology in the form of a variable swing spring compressor piston that uses way less energy and can throttle like an inverter microwave.

Before modern times where these artificial cold via electrical power was possible, fresh food was impractical, impossible or not feasible to transport long distances. This means that salting was the main way to preserve meat for long sea voyage on slow wind powered ships in antiquity. The compressor system in a fridge similar to that of a dehumidifier or air conditioner, in the sense that electric motor compressor, fans, braised pipes, metal heat exchangers, control electronics & similar are combined to move heat from the cold side to the hot side where the waste heat blown into the environment. When fuel is combusted in an engine, heat & pressure PVT pressure volume temperature relationship, creates mechanical force to shove the piston down to spin the crankshaft converting the linear motion of the downward pressure gas expansion combustion shoved piston into rotational torque and power output in the crank which further turns gears in the transmission to turn axel shafts connected to the vehicle wheels to twist the tires against the road surface to propel the vehicle. Waste heat from the engine emitted from the coolant radiator, the engine block, and in the exhaust gases and exhaust pipes. This waste heat actually warms the roadway which is also darkly colored behind heated by sunlight, contributing to the urban heat island effect as thousands of hot engine vehicles emitting IR & hot gas are driving stop and go in cities with lots of tall buildings and asphalt paved darkly colored roadways. 

How An AC System Works / Fridge or Dehumidifier

A compressor moves pressured refrigerant gas between a cold side & hot side fan assisted radiators to move heat from the space being cooled to dump heat outside into the environment, or to chill a coil to dehumidify the air, or to pump heat out of the fridge/ freezer to make the inside cold while dumping heat into the room where the fridge is operating. 

Deeper Dive into AC functionality

A scroll type compressor or piston based compressor inside a sealed housing containing an electric motor drive unit takes electricity and converts it into mechanical energy to pump the refrigerant gas (many exist) to a high pressure which travels to the cold side air cooling condenser where it evaporates taking heat into the liquid gas expansion and returns a warmer gas to the hot side evaporator which eject heat into the environment though a fan blown radiator, then the cooler gas returns to the compressor to be compressed and heated again by the higher pressure then sent as a liquid under pressure to the cold side condenser where the evaporation against takes heat away effectively cooling the air on the cool side condenser, while water vapor in the air on the cold side condenses on the heat exchanger radiator and collected in a moisture collecting header sent via pipe to drainage, though in a dehumidifier this condensed moisture drips into the internal bucket or is pumped away or drained away via a hose connection. In the home fridge freezer, the same method used to pump heat energy away from the condenser circuit inside the cold box interior of the fridge or freezer to the evaporator coil under or on the back of the fridge where the warm gas ejects heat into the room. 

Heat Pumps are Reverse Valve Enhanced AC's that can also act a space Heater

A heat pump operating with the same technology has the ability to make the evaporator become the condensers and the condenser to become the evaporator by reversing the direction of the refrigerant flow so that heat pumps can pull heat from the exterior radiator and pump into to the interior radiator for heating during the colder weather, while reversing it allows the system to cool indoor air and dump the extracted heat outside during hot humid weather and can reduce humidity inside to make indoor air more comfortable during high heat summer conditions. In this way electrical energy combines with an electric compressor pump moving refrigerant gas between fan blow copper radiators connected by braised copper sealed tubing to pump heat.

Mental stress that turns into physiological stress in then body because of the mind body relationship means that watching negative news, or having a high stress life also causes sleep disorders, and chronic sleep deficit causes cognitive deficits and health problems and well documented. Add in arterial light that stimulate wakefulness from screen, lamps, bulbs, noise pollution, chemical pollutants, microplastics, negative bias world view, psycho-social disruptions or social of familial stress, depression, anxiety, fear, uncertainty, doubt, suspicion, confusion, anger, frustration, all the negative emotions harm peoples physical health.

Cancer is not a genetic disease, it an extension of metabolic syndrome, from energy metabolism disruptions, say "Insulin" and "Sugar"

Cancer is a metabolic disease, like Type 2 diabetes and Hypertension or high blood pressure. Its a mitochondrial dysfunction caused by a high sugar high carbohydrate high glycemic index ultra processed junk food diet epitomized by the SAD or standard American diet that makes people fat, sick, and kills people with cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure complications like clots and stroke.

Mitochondria from cell biology, the cell has an energy center in the nucleus, inside the cell, the organelle Mitochondria converts ADP to ATP, to make energy for the cell. The Mitochondria has its own DNA that very different than everything else in the cell, with very specific form, shape, and biochemical function. It affects fluid balance, energy, kidney function, its the oxygen accepts electrons from the mitochondria, with CO2 and Water as the breakdown product, thats why oxidative phosphorylation requires people to breath in air, which is made of oxygen laced nitrogen with a touch of argon and other trace gasses.

Cancer is a chronic disruption of the mitochondrial function, adapting to fermentation energy without oxygen, so the cells begin to divide out of control, forming a cancerous tumor, from a dysfunction of the mitochondrial function to not operating on oxidative reduction, but instead to switch away from respiration to anaerobic fermentation, and this can be caused by virus, chemical toxins like carcinogens, pollutant exposure, microplastics, or anything that damages the oxidative phosphorylation in the mitochondria, caused by glutamine and glucose, high blood glucose.

In traditional aboriginal societies cancer does not exist or is virtually unknown, since they eat animals, insects, plants, nuts, seeds, veggies, fruits & berries seasonally, fats from animals and plants, and do not have access to sugar, processed foods with added sugar, carbohydrate rich ultra processed foods or other junk foods, candy, soft drinks and sugary stuff that people eat and driving regularly in developed weather economies, OECD countries where almost no one goes hungry, constantly snacks, eats too many times per day, does ever interval fast except while sleeping, tends to be overweight, tends to overeat, eats too close to bed time, does not eat enough fiber from not eating enough natural plants or plant based foods that have abundant amounts of dietary fiber naturally with a low glycemic index even if they like many fruits contain fructose and the same can be said for berries eating in sparing serving sizes seasonally.

In western society there exists great confusion such that chronic dehydration causes the kidney failure epidemic thats fueling amazing profits in the kidney dialysis sector, such that we can't build the dialysis machines or filters for them, fast enough to keep up with demand created by eating too much sugar, not getting enough water for hydration and causing kidney cancer or kidney failure.

Entering nutritional ketosis by eating less, mostly protein and fat with a hint of sugar like black pepper as a spice, perhaps 2 grams of sugar per day maximum. If we stop eating at 7 pm, and then skip breakfast and eat lunch at 12 noon, then we are eating from 12 pm to 7 pm and fasting the other hours of the day, it what is known as interval fasting. 

But doing a 4 day water fast 2 or 3 times per year can act as a master reset of the bodies cell health settings by pushing the body into nutrition ketosis where the cells run on ketone bodies. You can use urine test strips to see if you are in ketosis, possibly be eating an ultra low carb or ketogenic diet or by fasting for 24-72 hours. Do not fast with extra water intake beyond 5 days because that can knock your electrolytes out of balance, though taking a pinch of pink salt if you get a headache while while fasting can really help. Listen to your body, if your craving salt, then have a little, salt has no calories, like water. 

No high carbohydrate foods and lots of exercise or activities that get your breathing harder and moving. This keeps the blood flowing which improves mental function, improves mood, improves sleep and sex, makes people feel better, and is generally healthy to do at least 150 minutes of vigorous fully body sweating with hard to breathe fast enough exercise like hiking quickly up steep trails for 1.5 hours or going on a mountain climb bicycle ride, the trick is to get your body hot and sweating and breathing so hard that its hard to squeak out more than word or two talking with someone with you before you must inhale another breath. 

I can work out hard enough that I am unable to breathe fast enough to keep up with myself, and have to deliberately throttle back on pedaling or running in order to catch my breath. Lately I have been hit my a very nasty cold virus that radically reduced my breathing efficiency, but still went on a mountain climb bicycle ride, and when hiking on a trail that I found while on that ride, the next day. Today while writing this I am taking it easier and resting more, to give my body rest, writing online and watching edifying or interesting videos on YouTube, like the one liked at the top of this post that I highly recommend anyone with cancer or anyone who knows someone with cancer, should watch right now! American Economy Nosediving Like Japan in the 1990's

Notice that normal family homes are over $1 million now, gasoline $5/gal, food prices way up in smaller packages, and that the dollar has continued to lose its buying power, making everything essential even more expensive? 

I threw up when writing this because of how upset I am after watching a video about the History of the Economy of Japan, and it reminds me so much of what has been happening in the USA where I live just east of Seattle, Wa, in an overpriced suburban mountain top community where my wife and I are DINKs or dual income no kids, as in we have a kitty cay named Sweet Pea but not human children and cannot afford to have children, since we are renting the home of someone else's million dollar house basement. On a positive note they are friendly lovely people from India who are so kind and loving it blows my mind every time we interact with them.

Bad for older American's too, many of whom retired in the late 1990's on a fixed incomes, while the price of everything has risen sharply since then, even the property taxes of the homes they have owned outright for years almost uses up their entire retirement income, leaving them with no money to travel to see their children or grandchildren who were forced by gentrification to move far way to where homes are actually affordable, in rural America, where housing prices have remained stable unlike the hyperinflation that affected homes in big popular cities of America like the metropolitan urban and suburban areas or cities near Seattle, like Redmond (Microsoft)(NVIDIA)(Adobe) and Kirkland, or Bellevue or Issaquah, highly gentrified expensive suburban car required neighborhoods as thats the only practical way to work and get around. America is car crazy, with the general public in America driving more the 3.2 trillion miles per year as of 2023 data. 

That's with a lot of wasteful gas guzzler vehicles that get under 20 miles per gallon. This issue around American's being dependent on automobiles fueled by gasoline or diesel as the only practical way of getting around was exacerbated at the beginning of the 20th century by then founder of Ford Automotive working with corruption to tear up domestic railways and replacing them with the highway system. At the end of WWII many Americans became home owners, car owners, and the interstate highway system was in full swing construction linking up all the states. 

In many US cities the urban sprawl phenomenon means families have to drive until they can afford to buy homes, often resulting in longer commutes, such that many Americans drive more than 50 miles per day to get too and from work, school, or for shopping, often to overpay for groceries that were vastly more affordable just a 10 years ago. 

Shopping prices went crazy during COVID19 shortages and supply chain interruptions, such that many Americans feeling a lack of ability to control the closures and layoffs and chaos, start hoarding toilet paper and other essential consumables, stripping store shelves and causing prices to soar to incredible highs. I remember seeing a 2X4 of lumber that normally sells for about $2 selling for $50, and crab meat the normally sells for $20/lb selling for over $100/lb. A 10 US pound bag of flour thats normally about $6 was selling for over $30.

There are lots of lenses through which to examine these issues, but they all boil down to the same point. Live has become so unaffordable in developed economies that the "Middle Class" no longer actually exists, only a vapor of smoke remnant remains. Now to actually afford homes nearby, the family has to make an income of over $200,000 dollars annually. This means that normal home ownership now in the domain of upper income and wealth people, and largely unaffordable to the working class, even dual income earners without children like my wife & I, sadly. Its a unsustainable speeding race car of an economic disaster going off the cliff of economic collapse, speeding up daily as more people turn a blind eye to what is actually happening in order to space out watching celebrities or other nonsense as their economy crumbles from the inside out in the background. This is actually bad for wealthy people too. 

Decaying Democracy 

What does democracy mean when privileged and powerful sectors have never like democracies? The concentration of wealth and power means less for everyone so a tiny minority can enjoy opulence. The cost of electrons have skyrocket, meaning huge corporations pay for the campaigns in exchanged for special favors, tantamount to racketeering or corruption because thats exactly what it is, or bribery if you want to call it something else.

James Madison the USA should be designed so that power exists in the hands of the wealthy, who have sympathy for property owners, to protect the opulent minority from the poor majority. We can't have the poor taking away the wealth from the rich, so America was setup from its founding to benefit the tiny minority at the expense of the majority. So Americas was never a real democracy for free men.

The democratizing tendency comes from the population, from bellow, from the poor and working classes that do all the real work. Unions emerged to protect workers. Activism brought regular people into politics. Minority rights movement in 1960s with the Black Panthers, and Women's Rights before that during the Suffrage movement. Ecological environmentalism emerging on top of the Book Silent Spring. Why are there poor people in America? How have we restructured American society to be so unfair to so many people. Why are there so many billionaires and so many poor people at the same time? A major backpack reaction happened publicly during the Hippy Counter Culture, but in the 1970's during the Nixon years, there were major efforts to wrangle back inequality for to help the business sector regain control of society, to defend itself from outside powers that seek egalitarian resource equity in a resource based economy with science as the basic framework of understanding. Think physics, chemistry and facts.

South East Asia has become the "bitch of industry" as countries there are the manufacturing hubs that even China outsources work to now. The financialization of economies means that today we have people who majored in financial trickery running corporations that make more money moving money around in cleaver ways than they do doing anything productive. It's unclear if GE for example even does anything to actually produce anything other than making money with their money, like a band. Many large companies in wealthier countries that previously manufactured goods, now operate like banks making money with money, using cleaver finance and accounting manipulation or witchcraft, and are effectively as individuals and collectively, idolators of money, who play money above the public and worship money over God, and who will there be condemned by God to eternal damnation for making money their idol. American Idol you wonder? Flex that money, like you know you want to, but remember you have to pay your bills too.

This means that worker in the USA are competing against exploited people abroad. That's why so many manufacturing businesses left America and set up shop in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, or somewhere far away where labor, land, and permitting are easier, cheaper and faster to setup or develop. The poor local economies where these primary production activities are moved are stunned by the wealth that flows inward to build the factories with tooling imported and experts brought in to train everyone. Over time the costs rise and eventually that factory shuts down and exported to yet another cheaper local with cheaper land, cheaper labor, and liberal easy to development lack of regulations or outright help from the local government looking at gold in their eyes, at yet another faustian bargain like Satan himself way the puppet master of globalization and the exploitations of ever more people abroad.

The entire unit with included bag only weighs 192 grams, which seems impossible, but they did say thin & light in the listing. Let's examine this a bit more. First off this is a bit too big for our 2022 Corolla Hybrid front window, but I was able to finagle it a bit to make it work. A smaller unit would work better and I should have measured carefully before ordering, or at least looked up the front window size of the E210 corolla to get the right size, but I am a flawed sinner hypocrite and make mistakes and willingly admit it. If it was more expensive, I would return it and get the right size, but since I was able to make it work, I am just going to go with it.

I left a mostly positive product review on the related Amazon listing. It does completely black out the incoming solar radiation or light very well given the incredibly thin materials used. Let's make this clear, it's 4 nano coatings, not 4 layers. I am reminded of mylar mixed with thin synthetic fabric kite material. 

So perhaps they are saying the UV blocking coats were applied 4 times to make 99.99% UV & heat blocking in incredible thin fabric that does an excellent job at blackout the front window on the inside. 

After 15 minutes in cloudy overcast weather clear without rain, I did notice a notable temperature drop of at least 10 deg after installing the folding sun shade. I removed it from the car however, noticing that the virgin new polymer materials were off gassing causing a strange order inside the cabin. I will let it off-gas on the deck of our home for a bit before putting it back in the car. 

It will be exciting to see the test in full sun during summer hot weather. I am sick with a nasty intense virus now for 5 days, and it was full sun yesterday, so I actually went and heat soaked in the car. The dash camera was so hot that I hade a hard time removing it without wanting to set it down quickly like a very hot cup of coffee or tea without a handle, where you have to hold the body of the cup which is similar in temperature to the hot fluid inside. I would estimate without measuring, that the dash cam was 140F having more than 20 years of experiences playing with hot fluids, hot cups of tea and coffee, and hot water. It's easy to loosen the suction cup bracket and disconnect the power cable. The glove box stays cooler than most of the rest of the interior when sun coming through the front window directly heating the black dash materials, so I put the dash cam in the glovebox to let it cool off. I used a camping pillow in the front passenger seat reclined to heat soak like a sauna for about 30 minutes and got uncomfortably overheated, causing me to look up an automotive window heat shield on Amazon with good review scores.

But tailpipe pollution results from incomplete combustion. In an unleaded gasoline fueled car for example, the ECU talked sensor data from many sensors in the engine, and calculates to control the fuel pulse duration or rate of fuel injected into the engines air intake or directly injected into the cylinder next to the spark plug. When the piston moves down the volume inside the cylinder increase and the intake valve is open so fuel & air flow into the engine. When the piston reaches the bottom of the stroke the maximum cylinder swept volume achieved consisting of a mixed column of air and gasoline, then the piston starts going up as the crankshaft's offset swings the connecting rod around translating this rotation energy into upward energy to push the piston up compressing the air fuel mixture. When the piston reaches top dead center and just after as it starts to go down again as the connecting rod now pulling on it to complete the 3 stroke, the spark plug also controlled by the ECU sparks creating the activation energy to initialize the flame front kernel formation around the spark plug that deflagrates rapidly producing heat, gas, and pressure to shove the piston down, similar to when your leg is pressing down on the bicycle pedal, to spin the crank, to move the wheels to move the vehicle, usually through a transmissions to introduce different gear rations for starting from a stop or traveling at neighborhoods speeds, or on local roads at slightly higher speeds, or on highways or freeways at even faster speeds, perhaps even doing stop and go in traffic congestion since driving so popular as a way of getting around with heat and air conditioning, music, a comfortable seat, cool or warm calm and collected, fast, easy, but kind of expensive.

90+% of Transportation Fossil Fueled Today

In this way the fuel burned in the engine proves the mobile energy for most vehicles used by the general public in many different ways to move people and stuff around daily. When Meg & I take her 2010 Prius III to Costco, we spend a few hundred dollars and get hundreds of pounds of stuff, and do this every 3 weeks or so, in what I call a junket trip given the vast amount if mostly foodstuffs that we get while at Costco typically. When the Prius III 2ZR-FXE 1.8 liter 4 cylinder 4 stroke Atkinson cycle engine activates it starts a cold start, when the oil down in the oil pan and the engine near room temperature. It take a few minutes to warm up the engine and light off the catalytic converter, and aftermarket cat & downstream O2 sensor since someone jacked up her parked car & cut out the OEM cat to get money for selling the catalytic convert for its noble metal content. 

Consider Engine Cold Start Emissions X Billions of Vehicles

During the cold start the tailpipe emissions smell bad, piston ring blow by products, crank case vapors, unburned fuel from a rich mix to warm the engine slowly, and other fumes are not only stinky they are also toxic. Multiply this cold start emission by billions of vehicles and thats big plume of toxic fumes emitted daily worldwide. Add in tire tread erosion vulcanized rubber dust, brake dust, oil leads, transmissions leaks, and other fluid and grease leaking, fumes, soot, smoke or worse from diesel vehicles, or jet turbine engine exhaust, or coal power emissions, and it becomes clear the carbon energy a dirty toxic emissions nightmare making runaway climate change worse faster while also sicking people and nature with acid rain, fumes, smoke, particulate, vapors and toxic tailpipe emissions bad for human and environmental health. 

Fast Fueling Hard Competition

Most industrial farming machines are fueled by diesel with piston engines with high compression and good thermal efficiency that spin at lower speeds like 1800 RPM with full turbocharged power output. They also have the same tailpipe emissions of toxic soot, particles, fumes and worse. Liquid gasoline and diesel are easier than propane or butane to distribute quickly. A typical passenger car driver can drive to a gas station and add 12 gallons of gasoline in under 7 minutes from start to finish, paying at the pump with a credit card or debit card (debit cars are dangerous, credit cards are safer) 

Slower EV Charging & Finite Battery Elements Expensive 

Charging an EV up to 100X slower, but L3 or best case, only 4X slower, but 4X slower means it takes 30 minutes to add a decent amount of range even with a 350KW level 3 fast charger. There exists a L4 standard of 800VDC at 1000AMPS, but these are research pilot scale chargers that only work with some of the latest luxury EV's using the higher voltage battery packs and able to charge at 800KW or so. But battery electric vehicles are not enough, certainly not without Na-Ion or sodium ion batteries made of Earth abundant minerals and materials widely cheaply available, unlike finite expensive cobalt and lithium using in common EV Li-Ion batteries NCA or similar, though I am a fan of long life LFP or lithium iron phosphate batteries and LiTi or Lithium Titanate like the SCiB from Toshiba used on that cool fast charge electric bicycle. 

Electric Bikes & E-Bike Cars 

It's electric bicycles that seem to be poised to win the emissions challenge at moving people with cargo stored on the bike or small amounts in a rider worn backpack. I think bicycle cars are really the best bet, as saw examples of low mass enclosed low speed electric assist bicycle vehicles in Amsterdam. Think of an enclosed motorcycle with heating, defrost, air filtering, air conditioning or cooling, more comfortable, with a practical trunk for moving furniture, other smaller vehicles foldable, bags of groceries, or boxes of foods or beverages etc. 

Corded & Battery Electric Farming Equipment 

On farms, corded and battery electric farm vehicles, with overhead articulating wires, like trams in cities, such that diesel engines can be replaced with grid powered large industrial motors to energize the farming tools or agriculture machines. Even hybrid drivetrains where the diesel engine acts like a hydraulic or electric generator, instead of directly driving the machine mechanism, the engine can operate at its peak efficiency rotation speed into order to use less fuel and lower emissions. By not varying the engine speed, the hybrid drivetrain can achieve significantly lower fuel consumption, improving energy efficiency and cleaning up the air quality around farms, not fogging the food with tailpipe pollution like diesel powered machines do.  

Capacitors + Batteries = Higher Performance 

I really like ultra & super capacitors that store energy in ionized materials instead of chemical bonds, so they can charge 1000X faster, and give off current at incredible rates. That's while rail-guns use large arrays of charged capacitors to dump huge amount of DC current into the rails to shunt a magnetic field into the projectile launch sabot to get the tungsten penetrator or DU round to 6 miles per second velocity, enough to rip though normal materials like space trash parts that hit satellites causing catastrophic cascade issues that make space trash of commercial importance now. In the early days of Satellites this was not even considered, just as tailpipe or carbon emissions were only recently made a public popular political discourse important topic today under the banner of carbon emissions regulations or carbon credits or reducing carbon emissions.

This is why vehicles are so popular and since gasoline and diesel engines and fuels are practical and cost effective and proven, they continue to be widely utilized even though everyone is starting to see the cracks begin to show as carbon emissions that harm, hurt, poison and sicken and even kill people with preventable diseases. In a way, easily liquid hydrocarbon fuels made from mined oil enabled human activity to scale, increasing the number of people alive, giving rise to globalization and sending us towards 10 billion people alive at the same time, off the end of a cliff called runaway climate change global tipping points exceeded as the USD dollar and other fiat currencies continue to lose value making everything more expensive or making life more unfair for nearly everyone, their children, friends, neighbors, people.

Many existing mining chemical processing techniques can be used to recover valuable metals like copper & gold from e-waste. Lower value metals like aluminum and tin can also be a worthwhile profitable thing to recover, as can steel or glass if the scale of operations done on a gigaton industrial scale the way traditional metal ore mining and processing done industrially for commercial profit generation.

Hedonism or pleasure worship an aspect of the 1st world life that I struggle with, hating myself for being an industrialist promoting development for the sake of creating more wealth and prosperity to enable more middle class lives such that more people are lifted out of the squalor of poverty, refugee camps, genocide, rape, war, incest, human trafficking, child abuse, animal abuse or neglect, pollution from needless consumption, or similar to that of turning a blind eye to the suffering of other people, animals and nature to embrace the enjoyment of things that many people will never have the privilege or fortunate to enjoy. 

I was born into relative wealth as a regular Joe lower middle class American in a gentrified area thats so expensive to live that rent and home prices are now completely unaffordable to nearly anyone who is not upper middle class or wealthy, given that homes that originally sold for just under or just over 100,000 dollars are now selling for 1.2-2.5 million dollars. Gasoline sold for $0.99 when I graduated high school, now it's $5/ gal. A US pound or 454 grams of organic butter was $1.24 when I graduated high school and is now $4.49. Filet Mignon steak was $6.49/lb when I was in high school, now it's $34.99/lb. 

In these examples and many others, the cost of food, fuel & housing has risen much faster than wages, while the currency or USD or dollar has also lost a lot of its buying power, combined making everything more expensive or costly in terms of purchasing parity, or the relative cost to regular families or the general public, not to elite income earners, billionaires and the other hyper privileged lucky winners of society, like the royalty of past times who enjoy effortless access to luxuries other regularly people will never know about or experience. So you might wonder how I can listen to this kind of music and enjoy it.

It took until 1988 to outlaw Drunk Driving in all States of the USA or nationally in America.

How many things are known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects in warning labels that say as much, so why do the other states not recognize these toxic or carcinogenic substance or products as hazardous since factually speaking in science terms, they are poisonous, toxic or hazard, like many fraudulent radioactive items sold on Ebay and Amazon.com with purported health benefits that actually harm the DNA of people who buy and use these items in close proximity to their body, since ionizing radiation more damaging the closer the source is to your bodies DNA or cells. This is why radioactive waste hazardous and most radioactive consumer products were banned in the USA a long time ago. 

Most of these toxic products are made in China, and the CCP probably deliberately exports toxic products to harm people abroad, since the CCP and evil sick immoral unethical horrible evil government guilty of and with history document of making COVID19 virus, and many fake knockoff or counterfeit products, adding lead oxide instead of titanium dioxide to make white pigment in wire insulated and cases and other products that people touch and interact with physical, such that it exposes the user to lead. We banned lead from gasoline because it was proven that leaded gasoline emissions were lowering the IQ of people since lead exposure causes brain damage. Sure lead is an excellent anti-knock agent in fuels for gasoline engines, and acts as a lovely metal lubricant, which is why 100LL still used in some piston powered helicopters as 2024, even though the last country to ban leaded gasoline sold to the general public was Algeria in 2011.
