Feeling Rejected Hurts, its Painful, Mentally Painful might as well be a Physical Injury because of how it hurts on the inside

I was never normal, all through my childhood all the way to the end of college other men & boys & many girls would ask me "Are you Gay?" "You seem gay" "Have you ever dated a man" "Your queer" many miserable low quality people asked me or accused me of being a gay in hiding, or that I was unwilling to come out of the closet, which I always found peculiar & confusing because I have never wanted to kiss another boy or man. 

I have never felt sexual attraction to a boy or man, not as a boy or as a man. I have only ever been interest in girls when I was boy, or in women as a man. In this way I find it deeply offensive to allow men to become women, as that seems to almost erase women, and especially in sports allowing adult men into a teen girls locker room because he identifies as a teen girl, even if that makes all the other girls in the locker room deeply uncomfortable, effectively emotionally & mentally violating the girls because of a psychopathic sicko who as an adult man claims to identify as a teen girls, probably a pedophile in hiding if anything. So the woke want to protect pedophiles & weirdos. 

Radical left extremist WORK want to allow boys to become girls & compete with girls in sports which is deeply unfair on many levels. They want parents to give children as young as 8 years old hormone blocking or puberty blockers. 

Many trans people today are coming out publicly saying they were manipulated as teens into becoming trans & now as adults deeply regret doing so, mutilating their genitals with surgery to change gender in what amounts to sterilizing them so they can never have children biologically, which is theft of a generation. 

When government or NGO or social forces convince people to give up their ability to reproduce children, that is intergeneration theft or population engineering which is right in the middle of the WOKE ideology agenda, which in all reality only represents the views of a tiny minority of radical left extremists. 

I am for showing all other people love & have transgender friends at work who I regularly have polite interactions with in long discussions, often about trans issues, and have gay & lesbian friends at work who even think that boys should not be come girls, that people should only be able to change gender after age 21 when they have the required mental faculties to careful consider changing their gender & the long term lifestyle implications & health complication that can result in such a profound choice. 

A choice to change your gender should never be taken lightly. No one can actually change their biological gender at a DNA level, they can become trans version by taking hormones, having genital reassignment surgery, but they are unable to become an actual biological DNA level XX if they started as an XY. This means a man born XY can never become a real woman able to have a baby the natural way that all people entered the world. All people without exclusion have a female XX DNA mother or mommy, all people were born of a real natural woman. No trans woman who started as a XY man will ever become a real woman in this sense. 

Meg my lovely beautiful intelligent wife become sick with type 1 diabetes just before her 7th birthday, & was rejected by her peers all throughout elementary, middle school & high school, because they treated her like she had an infectious virulent easily spread virus & she was never invited to any parties that everyone else was invited too & felt rejected & like an outsider, so in this way her & I have this in common, and in both cases we both felt deep rejection & hurt, in my case from being teased about being gay when I was not, in her case from being rejected from a painful autoimmune disorder that is complicated to manage without a deep understanding of how to dose insulin in relationship to food, hydration, sleep, menstruation, stress, all variables which influence blood glucose levels somewhat, & how different food macros & micros work with different kinds of insulins also, like a constantly moving target in the dark, dauting & confusing often, & only one older doctor who also had Type 1 eventually gave her a quick way to understand that for every 15 grams of carbohydrates consumed 1 unit of fast acting insulin seems to work to tell body cells to absorb the glucose formed from digesting the carbohydrates, since carbohydrates are more or less just polymerized sugars biochemically speaking, in so far as how they break down back into blood sugar increasing when carbohydrates are eaten or consumed as sugary beverages, including those sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. Sugary food increasing blood sugar levels. 

Carbs are fattening because when eaten in excess force the cells to swell up to absorb the blood glucose. Insulin the glucose storage hormone that tells the body to absorb glucose from food carbs. Protein can also raise blood sugar if consumed in excess. Fats are very hard to convert into glucose & tend to become free fatty acids & ketone bodies, ketogenic, high fat, high protein, low carb diets, effectively the body in the absence of dietary sugars, starches & carbs switch to a triple fuel mode, eats cancer cells with autophagy, and causes a broad system levels series of changes in metabolism & biochemistry as blood ketone bodies increase dramatically, which can be tested for with urine strips that become darker the more ketones are present in urine as the blood ketone level rises, remember your kidneys filter your blood & dump the filtered stuff into your kidneys & urine emitted by the kidneys, which is also why staying well hydrated so important to prevent kidney damage, noting that there is a kidney failure epidemic worldwide, mostly because UPF or ultra processed foods which should called synthetic food, are usually made of modified starch, sugars, carbs & artificial colors & flavors & any of 10,000 different chemical food additives & have little if anything in common with a real natural or organic food or any part of any diet that people have been eating for the last 10,000 years. 

Poverty Beyond Comprehension

 If you have a microwave oven, you're probably very wealthy without realizing it. If you have a car your also relatively wealthy compared to the average person on Earth, only 1 in 4 adults owns a car of any kind when 3 of them want a new car, you probably own 2 or more if you are reading this as an American. Most Americans own more cars than there are adults in their family. 

There are more cars in America than people in America. If you have a laptop computer, smartphone, high speed internet at home, a mobile data plan, a game console, a wrist watch, a washer & dryer for clothing, a dishwasher, electric stove with oven, if you have a basic apartment in America, your wealthy even on an low income in America. 

That kind of privilege is something few people in the world get to enjoy. Many people live with no running water or sanitation of any kind. No health care, no prescription drugs, no nurse or doctor access, no vehicle, no electricity, no natural gas, no toilet, no shower, no appliances. Its can be hard for people living in industrialized wealthy countries to even appreciate how good they have it.

This seems odd given the talks about 8.5 billion people worldwide, a meteoric rise in human population worldwide since the 1960's, but in Japan life costs are so high that many young couples able to have children choose not to since doing so unaffordable. In other words having children in Japan a luxury that only very wealthy young couples can actually afford.

Waymo full level 5 autonomy cannot respond fast enough to uncontrolled 3rd party real world variables & unexpected events or phenomena any faster than even a bad human driver. This means that full self driving does well much of the time without a driver, but in microsecond when it most counts the full self deriving model cannot accurately respond to an earthquake, power outages, network outages, internet outages, emerging vehicle accident involving other human driven vehicles where human drivers make mistakes that create a fast emerging multi-car pileup accident in less than a second at freeway speeds, right where Trucks pulling containers or Class 8 trucks, the so called HALO app for full self driving vehicle with Level 5 autonomy, this exactly domain of class specific Vehicle Driver AI fails in costly lawsuit causing accidents that handicap WAMOY into a legal stop, ending revenue & profits instantly as slow law makers have a emergent knee jerk reactions to national news coverages & international world news coverage of a Waymo vehicle that causes a fatal accident that kills children, by making mistakes that no normal human driver would make in the same situation of valuing choices about life & death on the seat of the their pants with ultra low latency human 1 petabyte brain pattern recognition massively parallel brain neuron processing, predictive control of the human body, able to drive F1 cars at the edge of what the tire compounds will allow in terms of maintain grip on drive well maintained pavement at race tracks. 

The AI startup bubble forming a $1 trillion dollars speculation ramp up with no pathway to ROI or returns on investments. Moreover the costs of training better models increasing with a diminishing return on investments, making any additional progress towards commercial AGI or super human machine intelligence so costly that not even the wealthiest nations or wealthiest companies like NVIDIA or Google or Apple can afford to innovate further. In other words, the AI boom about to bust hard, causing massive layoffs & setting into motion a broad global economy recession like COVID 19, but more nuanced where most of the jobs lost are in the IT of information technology space, specially narrow domain LLM development & products such as Amazon Q to X's Grok or Microsoft Copilot or Apple Siri, these natural language personal digital assistant based on LLM or large language models are really good as a few specific use cases with legal documents & base level software writing assistant functions, sorta like spell & grammar checking in word processing apps, see Clippy in MS Word for a fun example from way back.

ML or machine learning illustrates that when Amazon doing last mile calculations to route trucks & packages the truck drivers deliver, that problem not only non-linear, it changes by the movement, constantly fluxing variables of many kinds that produce a very fuzz projection even a several days forward, no long duration forecasting can accurately model, except in the case of seasonal trends in buying habits, such that Amazon Q studies how people shop with their prime subscriptions, an robotic stacks of cargo in fulfillment centers pre-cache things likely to sell soon closer to the person at the pick & ship station that takes the object & picks a box size or package & put the object in the box, then labels it, this kind of high speed pattern recognition cannot be replicated by a robot or AI model, not even closely, because of the bewildering speed at which a human can do complex pattern recognition on the fly in real time when seconds count, the same can said of drivers making life of death choices while driving when a fraction of a second can make life of death difference. 

Waymo solve self driving to LEVEL 4, not AGI Level 5, that is vastly too hard to actually accomplish in the complicated neighborhood street routes, where only middle of America vast stretches of freeway or highway in rural locations without many hazards in fair weather is the unicorn use case, in the real world, in all wealthy, in heavy rain, in heavy snow, in blizzards, in dark rainy confusion chaos road traffic accident emerging situations that even human struggle to handle, humans with years of driving experience, where the driver has to think & focus hard to avoid an accident, this is where the self driving model fails entirely. A friend & former coworker purchased a fully loaded Tesla Model 3 with the Self Driving fiction & it was a rainy dark winter morning when it sent him across the oncoming lane into a fence such that the 4x4 fence post went through the front window of the model 3 and took out my friends eyeball & that half of his brain also, so the self driving failed in an almost deadly mistake that could have easily killed my friend, but instead left him disfigured and disabled for life, though he made a good recovery after 8 reconstructive surgeries & obtained gainful employment incredibly. 


Not For Everyone

 Not everyone wants a fancy car, fancy house, fancy clothes, more money, more problems, fancy expensive stuff that makes some people feel exclusive luxury glib snobby or on their way up, but how can the American Dream fail so hard with depression, anxiety & suicide plaguing families with so much wealth & high income levels? Did it occur to you that no law can make parents love their children & so often the father of a high income home is obsessed with making more money, afraid of losing it all, constantly working, a workaholic who is always gone, never at home, never there for the kids, they even made fun of this in the movie the Lord of War. 

I grew up in a glib local where it was easy to ride my bicycle to 40K square food mansions with one person home, the house wife, usually a trophy wife in impeccable physical conditions adjusted for age, most of the ladies I met by knowing on their door as an arrogant savant child were in their 50's, drinking alcohol, usually wine all day long, lonely who told me about how they made the wrong choice and married for money instead of real love. My childhood best friend Matt inherited almost $12 million but ended up committing suicide high on cocaine before age 40, not exactly a long life, never married, no kids, feeling hopeless & lost from physical injuries from a motorcycle accident that left him very disabled at age 30, and never making a full recovery sadly. 

Why not automate & robotics to make everyone alive upper middle class? Currency inflation, government corruption, greed, crime, there are many reasons why we can't improve everyone's lives at the same time. Even when people create technology that is broadly beneficial for all people not everyone agree's that operating like that better, and the way people define better culturally varies by location. People in the rainforest living in tribes the way people lived 10,000 years ago say that modern economies are fragile, as in if the power grid fails for a long time most people will die, and they are technically correct. These people also claim that living the industrial life not sustainable for all people and if we were to make all people like Americans in the USA it would destroy all of nature & every ecosystem in the biosphere of Earth, making clean water & food rare & very expensive, not exactly roses & sunshine. 

Today we have slavery still existing, child sex trafficking, & every form of crime & evil imaginable including the War in the Ukraine & nothing to stop world war three from breaking out suddenly. We do not know when or if a major solar CME will hit the earth & wipe out all electrical grids & internet worldwide. What about an astroid that hits Earth suddenly with little warning, coming from behind the Sun, so we only see it last minute & have no time to respond with weak chemical rockets that have a fuel mass paradox already so they are not appropriate for deep space missions, not even to Mars in reasonable time frames. To live on mars we have to send 1 million people, 1 million tons of materials, an ecosystem & tons of water, mining equipment, air making chemical & way way more, insulation, building materials, tools, wiring, like a miniature of the most industrialized economies in the world, so they have everything including how to teach & learn about how to do everything, to teach their children & grandchildren living in domes on Mars since its colder than the arctic outside & the air of Mars unbreathable. 

91 days without alcohol now

Memories bubbling back while sleeping in dreams, I am 41 years old & my parents have passed on, but I still have dreams of arguing with them, tense, frustrating, so it tells me there are many unresolved issues deep under the hood of my consciousness. Perhaps all these years I was trying to escape these memories. I know there are other memories of my childhood that I also block & do not want to relive, of being abused.

Suburbia can be very lonely for children, no other kids nearby of the same age to play with. Or in my case my only neighbor was Matt Mayo, similar in age, but he was wild & crazy when I was more serene & patient, almost exacts opposites, we met when I was 3 & he was 4, on Saturday morning I was sitting on the floor near the glass slider when I look up to see Matt peeing on the outside of the glass, that was our first encounter as very young boys. He lived diagonally across the backyard, a sand box & swing set in-between with some nature, a creek too, birds & small animals like squirrels & raccoons, lots of birds of many kinds. I have a huge trove of memories from these precious years from age 3 to 9, being friends with Matt & wondering why he was so wild & crazy. My older sister was 7.5 years older so by the time I was in 5th grade she already moved out to her own apparent. We are no longer on speaking terms sadly, after out mom died & I gave her half the money from the estate, a few weeks later she told me to fuck off & die. Matt killed himself high on cocaine a few years earlier, his father Rob never invited me to Matt's funeral afraid that Matt & I were secrete gay lovers which was never true. At the Time Meg & I were living in one of Matt's rental houses. 

A 3 grade 8 year old girl named AK says to me "I like being at school with my friends, going home sucks, its not only boring, there is no one in my neighborhood to play with" and AB a 8 year old 2nd grader, her best friend lives 40 minutes walking distance away. "Sometimes our parents will drive us either her to our our house or me to her house, but it rarely happens, I mostly see her at school, during recess, and during after school activities. I met AK 2 years ago when she was riding on one of the other bus routes. As a result she is prone to talking to me about life, I ask her simple appropriate questions about her happiness & wellness, and that is when she told me about feeling isolated in suburbia. When I was a teen boy I felt the same way, no children nearby, all the neighbors were older people, like I am today at age 41 without children. Obviously people are always being born & dying, so people alive are stuck in the middle, like you and I. The way people are distributed in suburbia affected by many factors, but housing nearby so expensive that young families cannot normally afford the multimillion dollar homes anymore. These same homes sold when I was a little boy for 20X less money or were affordable houses in suburban neighborhoods nearby. This is also known as gentrification. Along with currency inflation, the price of food, fuel, & lives basics on the rise, WWIII looming, the US economy about to take a fat dump, the prospect looks even more bleak. 


Water Heating, Coffee & Tea

Cooking stew, soup, noodles, pasta, rice, many kinds of food preparation involve heating water, for curries or sauces for example, hot coco, tea, coffee, water even heated at oil refineries for cooking petroleum, in water heaters at homes for laundry machines, dish washers, to take warm or hot showers with to clean up the sweat from working out or just scrub off the old dead cells from living if you don't take a shower every day. I often think about how our cheap GEVI espresso machine use s heating block to heat the water before the vibratory pump forces water though the block & into the group-head where the coffee grinds filled bottomless basket mounted such that hot pressurized water forced though the basket produces espresso into my coffee mug, a wide mouth mug to capture the irregular water output of the bottomless basket. I have also resorted to pulsing in 1-3 second bursts to address this issue. I could use the pressurized basket that came with the unit to get more precision output, but I love the all stainless steel interface of the aftermarket bottomless basket kit, no plastic, its easier to clean precisely, it looks dope, it feels amazing and well made with a heaviness that is so satisfying to click into the group head, feeling the gasket as I firm it into place, slowing the rotation to a stop with a deeply satisfying resistance, indicating a good seal that means a quality pressurized extraction without leaks :)

We rent the basement of a home with a natural gas water heater in the garage. It have a huge high BTU boiler setup with natural gas flows into a solenoid controlled pressure regulator, then to a computer ring that burns the natural gas in air under the water tank with a central flue that also transfers heat to the water before the hot combustion emission gasses exit the top into a galvanized steel exhaust system that route the hot exhaust gas to the outside world. Air for combustion from the garage, so oxygen depleted, but leaking air into the garage replaces it. The 96% efficiency furnace has an air pipe where it takes in outside air for combustion, then a counter flow heat exchanger to preheat the air with exhaust heat to raise combustion efficiency, a blower forces compressed air with the natural gas, so the fame blue white for ultra high efficiency combustion with low emissions, where even the carbon soot produced from primary combustion undergoes rapid secondary combustion such that the emissions are very clean. Heating water & air with natural gas costs about 4X less than doing so with electricity, with local utility prices. 

Propane, butane, isobutane, mixes thereof, I am able to blend gases fuels using refill devices into smaller cans from larger cans. I warm the bigger gas canister or mother that distributes fuel into the chilled daughter smaller container, that way the fuel condenses into the smaller container more effectively. These fuel are for our outdoor barbecue, our camping stove & backpacking stove. During power outages our electric 240v 40 amp stovetop oven does not work & our tiny Honda EU2000 can only sustain 2000 watts peak for 30 seconds, with nominal continual output of 1600 watts max, the ECO throttle can dim the output to conserve gasoline all the way down to 250 watts to load match, but this is not enough to heat water & we use it to backup our fridge, & when the fridge compressor not working, we use it to power a 1500 watt electric space heat. Our camping stove takes 8 oz butane cartridges, we use it with a pot of filtered water when the grid power out, to heat water for cooking, tea & coffee. 

Our smallest stove made of titanium, folds up into something you can easily hold inside a closed hand, weighs less than 25 grams, screws into the top of a Iso-butane can, & must be lit with a match or lighter as it has no piezo spark ignition. Our barbecue use as 4.6 gallons or 20lb propane tank made of white painted mild steel with a brass regulator valve, and this is the mother tank that I distribute propane into smaller 16 oz propane tanks, or from the 16 oz propane tank into the smaller 8 oz butane cans, or into the even smaller ISO butane cans, therein enabling mixing of fuels. I am very careful when doing this, with lots of practice and experience and a perfect safety record so far thank god :) I keep a fire extinguisher nearby in case something goes wrong. 

Ours cars, motorcycle, scooter, all feature water cooled fuel injected engines. Our little Honda EU2000 is air cooled & carburetor fueled & its exhaust emissions smell terrible as a result, like burned HC from an antique car tailpipe, fuel vapor but toasted smell, it runs rich fuel air mixes to keep cooler while a force air cooling system blows past the aluminum fins of the block & heat to keep it cooled properly which extends the life of the stationary engine, noting the generator not moving when its operated nearby during power outages. I run it outside, with the exhaust routed away from the covered patio which keeps rain off the generator, then use concrete blocks to further reduce sound emissions while routing and blending the exhaust gas away from the patio where wind can further dilute it, that way the patio does not accumulate smelly emissions. Power send through a 12/3 heavy insulation extension cable 25 ft long through a gap wide enough for it in the patio slider door, then white duct tape used to cover the gap inside & out to prevent air flow & seal up the cable interface so only the cable enters & exists, bringing power inside from the generator outside. 

I mention water cooled engines because they use water cooling instead of air cooling, & water cooling superior to air cooling, but engines heat this coolant mixture up to 186 F or 192 F, not boiling but hot. So ICE vehicles common are heating water, not to cook or to make tea or coffee, but to keep the engine cool. I pie in the sky idea to divert block of exhaust heat into the cabin into a cabin water heater for cooking, tea or coffee making inside the car, so you can make a warm beverage on the go :) Obviously the cost of correctly safely taking heat from the exhaust header or engine block & sending it into the cabin in insulated hoses to a smaller copper tube heat exchanger to heat an isolated loop of clean water for human consumption to cook with or to make coffee or tea :) I always like the idea of waste heat recovery, like heat recovery ventilator that heat incoming cool fresh air from outside with warm stale outgoing air, with cleaver heat exchangers & blowers and pipes, that reduce heating utility energy costs while keeping indoor air quality better. I like the idea of routing shower water, hot runoff, through an interior radiator pipe in the floor to create gentle heating of the floor in cold locals where that would be beneficial. I like the idea of capture exhaust heat from the furnace & water heater, to further heat indoor air more efficiently. In vehicles the idea of converting engine waste heat or exhaust heat to charge hybrid batteries seems promising if fuel prices high enough to justify such applications of existing technologies. 

Dope Coffee Anywhere, All Stainless Steel French Press, Conical Burr Hand Grinder, Metal Cup, Water in Jug & Heating Method, Thermometer

Portable French Press Coffee Method

Add water from jug to metal cup, place water filled metal cup on heating method, heat the water, & use thermometer to monitor heating progress, your aiming for a final temp of 185 F or 85 C in the French Press, so heat your water to 190 (87.8 C) or 195 (90.5 C) or 200 F (93.3 C) as this slightly higher temp allows for heating the French Press which soaks up some of the heat energy so your final 5 minute brew starts at 185 F or 85 C, known as the James Hoffman method, the expert coffee man on YouTube where I learned this temp & time formula. 

Add 30 grams of coffee beans to your hand grinder pre-dialed into French Press gain size, similar to raw sugar crystals in pack, medium grain, if expresso grind super fine, pour over fine, French Press medium fine, then closed the hand grinder & hold the grinder in one hand & turn the handle in the other & grind for a few hundred rotations.

Open the French Press by removing the press basket. Open the hand grinder over the opening of the French press container & add the ground coffee to the French Press body.

Now monitoring your water heating, once you get to your target temp, 190 something F or around 89 C probably, pour the water rapidly into the French Press body so it swirls & mixes the ground coffee & starts the hot brewing process, them immediately install the French Press basked with the lid in the closed position to trap flavor volatile substances that improve the taste, and let it brew for 5+ minutes, more for more flavor, 3 minutes for less intensity, I aim for at least 5 minutes. 

Press the basket of the French Press down slowly to finalize the coffee, then rotate the cap to open position & pour it back into the cup you used to heat the water & enjoy delicious coffee that you can make anywhere like that :)

At home I operate a $100 GEVI espresso machine from Amazon, that is simple, Chinese, nothing fancy, with an aftermarket bottomless 52mm basket in stainless steel with beautiful wood handle, the $400 Eureka Mignon Notte espresso grinder (Made in Florence Italy) & just spent 2 hours refurbishing both on Sunday since they had been sitting idle for perhaps 6 months. I fired it up & pulled a shot this morning, 18 gram shot for 40 seconds, it was deliciously bitter & flavorful, very different than the French Press coffee.

Meg & I had moved on to a hand grinder & stainless steel French Press into which 30 grams of hand ground roasted coffee beans (grain size coffee for French Press tuned) added along with 185 F water for 5 minutes, then the basket pressed down, lid rotated to open, then ~800 ml of coffee poured into two cups for enjoyment. I call this an anywhere coffee solution, as a bag of beans, hand grinder, water, way to boil water, & French press durable drop resistant double all SS can be taken almost anywhere, easily fits into a portable kit to bring along even on a backpacking trip, its so portable strong & simple to use such that almost anyone can use it almost anywhere. 

Rotary Pump Espresso Machine, Heated Group Head, PID temperature Control, for a few grand you can get into some exotic stuff, less if it comes from Shenzhen China, more if its made in the USA, Germany, Italy, France, Norway or some expensive OECD rich country where labor & real estate costs make manufacturing things vastly more expensive than making things in China or some other cheaper location in Asia or cheaper labor market in India or a country in South America.

Modus Operandi of Our System 

I start by turning on the espresso machine so it can warm up. Then I put a magnet infused aluminum basket loading ring assist device onto the top of the wood handle bottomless stainless steel basked with double shot insert 51 mm cup, then hold up the kit to the loading spot of the Eureka Mignon Notte, then use a finger on my other hand to press the little black rubber covered switch button for 6.5 seconds to dispense ~18 grams of super fine expresso grind into the basket enough to make a fluffy mound that protrudes with a rounded cone shape to the top of the basket ring, then carefully tap the basket in my other hand to tamp down the grinds a bit before putting the basket into a 3D printed PETG basket holder than I made on our Prius Mini in 2022, then take a wood handle spring loaded tamper & press the espresso grinds into the basket to form a compressed uniform puck, then place the filled basket into the preheated cheap espresso machine. I activate the brew button for a few seconds to pre-infuse the puck with about 5 grams of water, then wait for about 35 seconds before starting the 30 second long extraction. I hold the top of the water tank lid with my other hand to keep the vibratory pump from rattling the lit which would otherwise emit an annoying noise, so its sounds like a suppressed aquarium pump when operating so I don't wake the other 3 people up in the house. I also wrap a towel all the way around the Eureka Mignon Notte such that only the very bottom part for the basket and button are exposed, this also reduces sound emissions substantially for the same purpose, so I don't wake up the other 3 people who sleep in later or longer than me # socially #considerate / but I also like less noise & would enjoy a silent setup also, though going that route costs a fortune or is "So Expensive"

Not all supplements are bad, some of them have superior biological value, able to be easily digested & so their components have high bioavailability to actually accomplish replacing minerals or vitamins missing from the industrial western diet where such supplements sell really well. Sitting around & not moving much will also slow your metabolism making it much easier to gain weight even if you do not eat very much & skip meals. To conserve energy even a large human adult body can reduce its metabolism to less than 500 calories per day if they hold still & do not move much. 

This ability of our body to throttle metabolic rate was essential in ancient history during food shortages for survival. Sadly these calorie conserving genes are still active in people today making it exquisitely easy to become overweight without meaning too or accidentally. Thorium (A Chinese Energy Miracle or Not)

An autonomous region in Inner Mongolia known as the Bayan Obo mining complex started production of Thorium Th an element with huge abundant potential for nuclear energy production when it becomes fertile after being hit by neutrons in a fission reactor started with enriched uranium fuel. 

Thorium up to 5X more abundant than uranium such that many energy experts agree that Thorium Fuel Cycle in breeder reactors can provide almost limitless energy for many thousands of years in millions of fission reactors. 

China uses more electrical energy than any country on Earth & also the largest emitter of pollutants because the CCP has relied heavily on exploiting the dirtiest cheapest capital cost way of making terawatts of electricity, at thermal coal power plants that boil water by combusting coal a fuel so cheap that an entire train car full of coal fuel only costs about $65 USD2025 amazingly. 

When coal combusted however it emits huge amounts of particulates poisonous to lung tissues, toxic heavy metals such as mercury & arsenic, & even naturally occurring radioactive elements present in coal become metal oxides in the fly ash emitted from coal power plants, producing an array of toxic emission types from coal power emissions making it the cheapest way of making electricity but also the most harmful to public & environmental health, not even considering all the destruction of nature that happens to harvest the amount of coal that China consumes annually. 

The CCP government of China however engaged in an ambitious development investment build out to mix solar PV, solar Thermal, Hydro, Wind & Nuclear Fission reactors to decarbonize their electrical grid & energize the future of China without burning ever more coal.

Outside of China a global renaissance for Nuclear Energy happening as more people at every level of society recognize and acknowledge that we have a urgent & increasing need to broadly decarbonize electricity & even all sources of energy in the future when much better batteries & more forms of natural energy recovery are more feasible on a LCOE basis, such as Ocean Thermal Power OTP. 

Many ways of making electrical energy are so much more expensive than coal, natural gas, diesel, gasoline, propane, butane, solar panels, wind turbines, river dam power generation, or God forbid, storing gigawatt hours of electricity in Lithium Ion batteries, though not typically NMC, in stationary grid battery systems the slightly heavier more robust & longer lasting stable LFP or lithium ion phosphate batteries are assembled into huge arrays in both series & parallel, with charging & inverters integrated into server like racks in air cooled by fan motors steel cabinets themselves arrayed on concrete slabs in close proximity to an electrical substation such are connected too.
