Giving More than just Money

By Arianna Huffington in the Foreword of The Go Giver Book "Too often people hear "be a giver" and think of charities & writing checks, of "giving back" once we have already made more money ourselves. But that is only one very specific facet of giving; by "be a giver" Bob & John mean be a giving person, period: one who gives thought, gives attention, gives care, gives focus, gives time & energy- gives "VALUE" to others. Not as a quid pro quo, not as a strategy to get ahead, but because it is, in & of itself, a satisfying & fulfilling way to be (a "go-giver")

Character virtues & being a virtuous person of strong moral & ethical conviction about protecting life, human rights, the environments of the world, animals & pets, other people, communities & especially helping people who are struggling & since all people are struggling that means being the best version of you that you can to other people since your life only possible because of other people & ecological functions happening in nature, even if people are polluting the environment of Earth mindlessly.

An example of the wrong way of giving, giving people mean spirited comments by judging them & then saying hateful things to them. "If you do not have anything nice to say, then keep it to yourself" the time-honored wisdom suggests.

Consider the racist bigoted SJW or social justice warrior who espouses inclusivity & egalitarian equal treatment of ALL people / who also paradoxically & hypocritically judges other people based on their skin color, gender, sexual preference, race & creed / I have had SJW's be intensely mean to me for no apparent reason who said things like "Oh, you're a CIS white male, I don't like people like you & would rather not talk to you" when I asked them if I could help them with something, being genuinely nice & kind & respectful to them & having them be hateful & mean to me in return.

This was not a one-off situation & I have been socially accosted & assaulted by so called SJW's who outwardly judged me for being male, heterosexual, Caucasian, Christian & married to a woman, all by assumption too, since I had not told them anything about any of that. They said because of the way I look, my "short hairdo, light skin, tight beard, lack of tattoos or facial piercings & "CNN" style of speech & pronunciation & word use, seem to them"

I find the SJW's misconduct, rudeness & racism & bigotry annoying & offensive, especially because they espouse social inclusiveness as their main idea. This not only illogical & nonsensical, it is also mean & cruel & does not make rational sense & violates the axiomatic base principle or sound basis of their otherwise intelligent "inclusiveness" promotion & endorsements! I believe in treating ALL other people with kindness & respect.

The only exception I find even worth noting is telling men who were born biologically XY that they cannot compete against women born XX in professional sports, even if the man undergoes gender reassignment surgery & hormonal treatment to become more feminine & less masculine as part of becoming a transgender female.

A person born male XY will never have ovaries with eggs or a uterus or cervix & never had to endure having menstrual period, bloating & cramps & going through hormonal fluctuations that adolescent girls becoming women have to endure. Women have also been subjected to gender inequity for most of history, mistreated by, sexually harassed, raped & abused by men. Similarly, A person born female XX will never have testicles that make sperm.

I like transgender people, transvestites, homosexuals, gay, bisexual, lesbian, straight, pan-sexual, whatever. I like ALL other people & believe in real inclusiveness & treating ALL other people with kindness & respect as an honorable ethical & morally loving person by treating other people in the best ways possible, healthy, happy, encouraging, uplifting, enjoying humor with, goofing around with or playing nice with, just like we encourage little kids to do!

It's about having a nicer world with nicer people who are all unique & special who respect one another despite their differences. Besides, a world where everyone the same would be a dull boring world to live in any way! Our differences as people make all the differences!
