Fasting has numerous health benefits confirmed by a large body of science evidence thats increasing as more doctors are looking for a no drug solution to helping their patients live happier healthier lives while reducing healthcare costs for everyone! 


Fasting for Age Reversal & To Combat Insomnia Caused by Light Pollution

Metabolic Confusion & Metformin Diverted 

My lovely wife Meg has been diverting part of her metformin prescription to give me 500mg per day to help reduce my hight blood sugars from eating an omnivorous mixed metabolic confusion diet where I have more simple carbs & sugars on some days more than others. 

YouTube Educational Content on Fasting

I started fasting for 4 days straight after watching the YouTube video "The Science of Fasting" back in 2019 & then Meg & I started eating a ketogenic diet, but got burned out of eating that way for a while. We resumed older dietary patterns & kept doing research when we learned about Metabolic Confusion. Lately we have been using an App on our smartphones called Fastic made by a German app developer, that helps with interval fasting & even keeps track of longer fasts. 

Fastic App for Smartphones & Interval Fasting 

I recently fasted for 58 hours after starting interval fasting using FASTIC app on my iPhone SE2. The Fastic App kept counting time up to 58 hours when I finally aborted to consume some bone broth soup with a touch of MCT as my first meal in the 3 days. I added some pink salt, about a teaspoon worth to the unsalted bone broth to improve the flavor along with a dash of liquid MCT oil & ate this broth with a stainless steel spoon right out of the pot that I heated it in to 115 F or about 46 C 

Fasting Semiannually 

I am to fast 4 or more days in a row every 6 months or about 2x per year in order to do an advanced reset of my body & cells with extended autophagy recycling & ketosis ketone fueling by brain & muscles. I do this to combat joint pain in my ankles, knees & hips & hands & neck & shoulders & back. & it works remarkably well. 

Hiking While Fasting on Day 3

Meg & I went hiking for about 3 hours some 7+ miles with about 1600 ft of elevation gain in a sunlit forest hiking trail that we can walk to from our apartment about 1/2 mile from our front door. We like this one because we can leave & come back without using one of our vehicles. That puts in more causal walking at the start & end & helps improve our metabolism & basal metabolic rate!
