Ethanol Free Gasoline or E0 added to 2020 Yamaha MT-03 with Sta-Bil added to Preserve Fuel Freshness

For more than 20 years I have been buying E0 or Ethanol-Free gasoline at The Grange in Issaquah, Wa, USA. Go to Pure-Gas.org https://www.pure-gas.org & get the iOS or Android App for your smartphone to locate E0 or Ethanal Free filling stations!

Why Ethanol Free

Ethanol hydroscopic because of its polar molecular structure. E10 gasoline in an unsealed container can actually absorb water from the air. In small carbonated engines, lawn & garden equipment, power sports vehicles & other small engine, the fuel tank often not completely sealed against moisture ingress & often made of iron or steel alloys that can rust if water in the fuel, gas tanks that rust from the inside out too since the water in E10 fuel has no where to go & cannot easily evaporate away like the water on the surface of a motorcycles that encounters rain or water when being cleaned.

More Energetic E0 Fuel

E0 or Ethanol Free gasoline contains up to 13% more energy, in 87 octane formulations, the super & premium contain less energy due to the high content of small iso-chain hydrocarbons that are less prone to pre-detonation or valve pinging in higher compression or turbo or supercharged engines that burn gasoline. Diesel a whole other beast, & there are fuel stabilizers & CETAN additives that can improve diesels properties & storage life, though diesel fuel already has much better storage life than typical gasoline. Propane in a sealed rust free pressurized container stored in a dry place has an nearly infinite shelf life as does butane & CNG & hydrogen & other pressurized gasses.

Small Carburetors & Fuel Stabilizer

Water in the fuel of an infrequently operated vehicles with a carburetor can also rust & foul the carburetor & E10 gasoline starts to spoil in a normal gas can within 3 months of filling it. Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer can be added to a gas can before filling it with E0 or E10 gasoline to extend the shelf life up to 1 year max.

Lucky Proximity to The Grange

Now I am fortunate enough to live much closer to The Grange. There are other filling stations by CENEX & others that sell pure gasoline to the general public. I take my sealed smart button 10L or 2.5 gallon polymer gas can to the Grange & fill it with CENEX's finest 87 E0 Ethanol Free gasoline to use in my Honda GX160 pressure washer, 31 CC 4stroke weed-whacker, Honda EU2000i generator, Yamaha MT03 motorcycle, Honda PCX150 scooter, 2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro (premium), 2005 Toyota Prius & 2010 Toyota Prius. I keep everything filled as mush as possible to reduce the possibility of condensation in the fuel tank & to assure there is enough range or energy for emergency operations during storms or hazards & disasters that hopefully never cause a problem.
