First yielding before God, saying "Lord, I know I am not in control of my life, there are many aspect of my life that I do not control, so I am asking you to take control of me because you understand me better than anyone else and I know I can trust in you in ways I cannot trust in anyone else, so please accept me as young son or daughter in the Holy Name of Christ Jesus, I ask you Lord, Father God in Heaven, to take over my mind & body, my life, I am asking you into my life, please father take over my choices, actions & behaviors, help me to turn around from sin, to turn away from habitual sin, to stop leaning into temptation, to reject what I know is wrong, even if I feel tempted or emotions to do wrong, please father, help me to shun that which is evil, to turn away from temptation & recognize that the wage of sinning or living a sinful life is death, but the way to everlasting life is in the blood of Christ Jesus who died so that if I call unto you Father in His Name, that you raised him from the dead, that I might also be saved, salvation in Christ Jesus, thank you father God, for your graciousness & mercy on people, I know that if any person was God they would have smutted all people out of existence as a punishment long ago, so thank you father God for saving my life when I was once living in sin, but now know the good news of the Gospel of Christ Jesus & feel convicted to repent for my past transgression & sins, asking for your holy forgiveness lord Father God in Heaven in the Holy Name of Christ Jesus, Amen.
