Lovingly Dismiss Trivial Matters

Ever get upset over something trivial or insignificant? Let love rule your perspective and enjoy life more completely. 

We each have the power to stop this pattern of getting hung up on stuff that doesn't matter. By embracing a lovingly dismissive worldview you can enjoy a life with fewer conflicts, better communication, less stress and more love.

You have the power to step back in your mind to control your reactions to life.

You have the power to embrace a positive perspective by focusing on the good in the world, by focusing on Gods infinite love and grace.

You have the power to embrace the things of real value in this world.

A lot of people on the news networks angrily argue over issues of little importance. People fight over trivial insignificant issues. A lot of toxic broken thinking and dysfunctional behavioral patterns are out there in the world holding people back from living more completely. 


I see the toxic impacts these self induced stressors are having on people and it is from these observations that I derive motivation to tell other people that they are free to enjoy a much brighter and more positive worldview.

I was once hampered by a negative perspective, toxic thinking, anger, depression, and condemning/ judgmental world-views.

In college I was forced to read material that highlighted all of the problems that we have created for each other with greed driven pollution and other toxic systems in the private sector and governments. With a narrow scope I started to look around at how people are living and developed a lot of frustrated feeling by doing so. 


I started to wonder why so many people are making short sighted irrational ignorant choices, and in doing so I developed a very poor opinion of other people in general.


Fortunately, a professor saw this in me and challenged me. He asked me to try and see the world through the perspective of a "Second Order Observer" : to step back in my mind and watch myself reacting. This was a critical point of change. It took me years to integrate this critical observation viewpoint into my general perspective and I still have room for progress here.

The second major revelation came to me after Megan Otto started showered me with priceless sincere love. Through her open demonstrative example of showing me love she helped inspire me to rediscover my passion for faith in God. 


Through studying the word of God I discovered the uniqueness of Christianity; that God is Love. God is a lot more than just love, but the love that God generously offers us in faith is the defining axiomatic core of Christianity.

Here we can clearly see that Christians are called to love on other people: that we are called to make our Faith in God and the love that faith inspires central to every facet of our lives as Christians.

Proverbs 16:24 "Kind words are like honey--sweet to the soul and healthy for the body."

Luke 6:27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you."
