In under 1 min, steal a car with new OBD tool

Criminals', car thieves using a diagnostic scanner to program a blank key fob

Car theft ring targeting cars in Maryland, Pennsylvania, & Washington D.C.

Install a scanner tool into your OBDII port and zip tie it multiple ways to secure the connector, blocking the OBDII port, making it very hard to unplug without great effort. Consider screwing down a metal plate over the connector, then use a rotary grinder tool to remove the head interface of the screws, or use rivets, to make very hard to remove the OBDII, so that uneducated immoral car thieves are less able to easily hack your OBD system to program a blank key to steal your car.

You can also install a 5G dash camera with solar power in your window, that will text you if someone access your car, or if your car moves, or if a window is broken or door opened. Then go out with an aluminum batt while you are calling 911, and give the thief a hard strike with the batt, then take the batt inside while you are on the phone with 911 and hide it, then go back out and wait the police to show up, if you took out the thief knee or foot or back, they are not going anywhere, they will be so physically harmed, they will lay there, tell the 911 you think they were injured breaking into your car, but you are not sure how, play dumb.

I hate low life's that steal other people's cars, especially because second only to a home, a car is typically a person's most expensive asset. So when thieves steal their car, and new cars are selling on average for more than fifty thousand dollars, then that thief who steals cars, disenfranchises the owner of the car stollen.
