Yet you would be hard pressed to find any vehicle sold ever in the United States that gets more than 50 miles per gallon in the real world. Sure, some PRIME by Toyota, if you feed them grid power kWh that drives up your electrical utility costs for your home, can get 77mpg in Rav4 Prime if route too and from work less than 20 miles each way, then you might only fill-up gas a few times per year, it will act like a BEV most of the time, but HEV for road trips of longer duration where no BEV can travel in a time efficient manner, without numerous lengthy stops for slow charging along the way, not real competitive to gasoline or diesel, hybrids or PHEV, bridge to better battery technology called Sodium Ion, Na-ion, coming out soon :)
