D&J Voet Biochemistry 2nd Edition & ^^ Behe "Darwins Black Box" + Mental Illness Causing Gun Crimes

I am at chapter 20 in a biochemistry textbook that I borrowed from Meg's employer Olga the OBGYN Doctor of Obstetrics, in association with reading Behe's wildly interesting book "Darwins Black Box" about how evolutionary microevolution cannot explain blood clotting, the eye or any other complex living systems actual origin or how these very complicated delicately balanced living systems could evolve by a tiny mutation drift event over long periods of time.

Especially since many of the systems of the body have 20 or more axis balancing forward & back biochemical reactions, any perturbation of which cause deadly diseases that often kill people in early childhood or cause developmental delay, tiny changes otherwise which are the causal basis of many diseases that affect people in adulthood. Let us also note that all the systems of the body are always on, interacting with other systems, flesh & organs, proteins assembled by RNA instructions from the transcription of DNA by molecular transcription machines.

Theses books explains that bimolecular machines inside cells that enable life to exist, the human body powered by 0.2 volts at 500 amps or around 100 watts when at rest, but ATP levels can increase 100 fold to increase this to 250-500 watt during vigorous exercise or activities.

The biochemistry of metabolism & body energy & cell function & enzymes & proteins is awe inspiring wonderfully complex beyond the scope of any manmade systems by many order of magnitude, especially at the organism or whole body macromolecular system of systems self assembling from genetic information from two fuzed parental gametes, the DNA transcription after which into RNA & nucleotides & peptides & protein synthesis coordinated by epigenetic mechanism, the proteome & biome conditions or flora of the gut & skin & eyes & other parts. All these bodily system so sensitive that even the way we think can influence health & wellness or disease pathology outcomes such that people who believe they will recover from cancer treatment have much better odds of survival.

A healthy outlook & healthy mindset enables the power of the placebo effect when someone believe that a vitamin or supplement will make them feel better, be that green tea or coffee, not withstanding the fact that caffeine is a psycho stimulant etc, but that what the consumer feels about this has even more, longer term, perhaps lifelong effects. This is why PTSD & other painful memories continue to harm people long after the negative event that produced these negative hurt feelings happened. So taking control of our thought life & emotions extremely import for a healthy happy life.

As you might be able to tell, I try to keep my mind active, stay physically fit. Still interval fasting & water fasting periodically, trying to stay hydrated, learning to cook better, trying to make the best of each day - forgiving myself for failures & sins & actively forgiving others who hurt me in the past or who do so in the present. Holding on to unforgiving is a toxic negative mindset that hurts the person thinking negatively.

The mind body connection already firmly established in physiology & medicine & a mainstream widely diffused concept worldwide. So, it amazes me how much crime I see, how much depression, the war in the Ukraine & other insane things, mental illness the cause of all those public shooting since guns like other inanimate objects require a human operator.

Surely cars do not cause accidents, but the drivers do, by mistakes or negligence, rarely an equipment failure. So too, a person must choose to buy or acquire a gun, to buy ammo, to load ammo into the magazine, to put the magazine in the weapon, to chamber the round by cycling the weapon action, to hold the gun, to point it at something & to pull the trigger - so can see in these examples that many human choices must be made in sequence before a gun can shoot a bullet - so its the people that are making bad gun choices that are the problem, not the gun, which we can see from the above example of Matt Mayo's cocaine induced suicide by handgun to the head. Food for thought in a liberal environment where gun control promoted as a solution, when that does nothing to address the mental illness that causes the violent gun crimes in the first place.
