Obesity | Children Facing Shorter Lives than their Parents

Processed and ultra-processed foods dominate western diets of disease, namely mostly preventable diseases caused by a diet of too much sugar, starch, carbohydrates, salt, unhealthy oils, low quality proteins with prions hormones or worse, artificial colors, synthetic chemicals, toxic preservatives & other nutritionally empty calories. 

There are now more fat people than skinny people in the world! 

Diseases that 35 years ago affected 1 in 10,000 people now affect 1 in 11 people. 

Diabetes rates are up 900% in the last 50 years. 

Sugars & Starches in excess servings hurt people & increase healthcare costs by making people sick with high blood pressure & diabetes type 2. 

Diabetes means your blood sugars is high too often from eating too much too often & never interval fasting, eating sugary starchy foods that are only appropriate for cycling or physically intense activities like hiking, where the activity & movement can enable your muscles to use the blood sugars forming from eating carbs, sugars & starchy foods. 

It's high blood sugar or high glycemic foods eating + sitting around & not moving enough that is slowly killing people! 

75% of the items at the grocery store have lots of added sugars, often with different names! 

Humans in industrialized countries eating western diets are eating 3 to 4 times more sugars than they body can handle. Increased insulin levels from high blood sugars chronically elevated also blocks leptin signaling in the brain, so people eating excess sugars don't get the full signal and eat more. This was proven in the food industry to increase sales of items with added sugars. 

Sugars are as unhealthy as Alcohol when consumed in excess! 

Uncontrolled high blood sugar levels can easily cut 10 to 15 years off your life & make you feel like crap, sluggish, foggy, tired, sick, low energy, like something is not right, like you have a hang over for no reason. Many people get checked out for cancer or HIV thinking that might be it, when in reality they are just nutritionally confused like the US FDA Food Pyramid. 

Being obese causes social isolation, relationship problems, health problems that make it harder to work, making more people a drain on societal resources while also causing social decay or a loss of quality of life. 

This means that very obese people feel lonely, confused, angry & frustrated, without understanding that processed foods & eating too much too often, or just the wrong things, is what is wrong. That if they corrected their diet with science, they would revolutionize their health, becoming fitter & thinner & happier. 

It's not about living longer. Having lower blood sugar levels by interval fasting, skipping breakfast & working out first thing in the morning while fasted, only drinking black coffee, or tear with nothing added, and more water, it means you get to live free of heart attacks & strokes. People that experience a heart attack or stroke caused by insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes and chronically elevated blood sugars levels, they are alive, but their quality of life suffers. 

Eating healthy, less often, in a science based nutritionally sound way is about enjoying health & wellness free of diseases throughly life, with more energy & mental clarity the entire time you are alive! 

When people switched from eating real foods to processed foods in the 1980s, thats when we saw a radical increase in Type 2 diabetes rates, obesity rates, high blood pressure rates, heart disease, kidney damage, fatty liver diseases, vision & eye problems, inflammation, and dehydration. 

Low fat foods have added sugars to make them palatable, since removing the fat made the foods taste worse, so the proceed food industry has increased the amount of sugars added, and sugar has 60 different names on the ingredients list on the packaging of processed foods that are better avoided as novelties to only be consumed sparingly as nostalgic throwbacks to a time of nutritional ignorance, at most. 

When people eat too much carbohydrate, the resulting increase in free sugars in the body actually takes water away from the cells, causing cellular dehydration even when the person drinks an adequate amount of water. Notice they feel sluggish, mentally foggy, the whites of their eyes are red, and they are fluffy! 

Most people regardless of how they eat, are thin until 30 years of age. It is after that when unhearing diet & eating habits start to cause weight gain, obesity & type 2 diabetes, often high blood pressure too! 

Solutions | Skip a meal ! Drink more water / Go for a walk after eating / drink water on waking / drink black coffee or tea with nothing added. Take a high quality multi-vitamin with lunch. Go to bed earlier and wake up earlier, get at least 5 hours of Zone 2 training exercise per week. Do HIIT training for fast workouts. Engage in core building & strength building to build muscle & improve bone density. Eat smaller servings & stay well hydrated by always having a large capacity water bottle with you, and clean your water bottle regularly. 

Obesity causing more health problems than smoking cigarettes! Sugar as dose dependent poison like ethanol. If sugar was used like black pepper as a seasoning it would not cause health problems, just like a tiny amount of ethanol in Kombucha does almost nothing to anyone. 

Vegetable oil goes through 26 manufacturing processes & makes trans fats in food when heated during cooking, meaning it causes heart disease, capillary damage, neuropathy, brain damage, skin and eye damage, liver and kidney damage. Healthy oils from butter, ghee, coconut, nuts, seeds, lard, animal fats, these are natural, healthy for all the organs of the body. 

When I fry chicken at home I use peanut oil for example, in a wok with slopped sides to reduce the amount of oil required, then cool the oil, filter it through a paper towel at the end into a glass canning jar, cap the jar and store it in the fridge (dark, cold) that way it can be reused 4 to 7 more times.

I bake & cook with butter, inspired by watching Chef's Table on Netflix for many seasons of content a few years ago, noting that most of the worlds best chefs add a lot of butter to their cooking processes. Some even sprinkle a little MSG salt mix onto seasoned meat before cooking it in butter to turn up the savor umami flavor, aroma, taste, smell enjoyment joy experience when the lucky patron of such exceptional food gets to eat it :) Yummy! 

So, why are so many people getting sick? They are never fasting! They don't skip breakfast or dinner or allow themselves to go hungry. They are addicted to snacking or eating food the way others abuse narcotics, in a repetitive way that dominates their thinking, making them a slave to junk foods that people in western countries tend to snack on all day. 

Dietary confusion in America exported through broadcast content all around the world. Now children in China are morbidly obese. 

The abuse of content on screens of TV's, computer screens, laptops, tablets & smartphones, even portable gaming consoles, smart watches & other, means that people are online more, sitting around more, not moving enough. 

This kind of sedentary lifestyle + excess sugars now implicated in more science as the primary causal factor of ADD, ADHD, Dementia, Alzheimers, stroke, clotting, embolism, capillary damage, neuropathy, numbness in the limbs, loss of feeling, retinal damage in the eyes, diabetes type 2, making diabetes type 1 worse, causing high blood pressure, heart disease, and many liquid soft tissue cancers.

40 years ago when I was born, morbidly obese or great big fat people were a rare sight. Now I see very fat people off all ages today in real life when I am out & about. The obesity increasing trend globally so profound that the automakers have been deliberately making models of cars bigger. The newer Toyota Corolla is about the size of the 1980s Camry. SUV's like the RAV4 are the most popular models. 

I really like the legendary reliability or LTCO long term cost of ownership of cars, trucks & SUV's made by Toyota so I use their vehicles as examples. I only buy Toyota cars Made in Japan because of the higher assembly quality, from the Japanese obsessive culture focused on excellence, with the spirit of the Samurai warrior, great attention to detail, striving for greater precision & accuracy. Toyota even sells their superlative efficient high level QA:QC quality assurance faster efficient manufacturing process to other companies who seek to leverage the advancements therein. 

These same kind of high volume auto manufacturing techniques are used in the processed food industries with high levels of automation to make ultra processed foods on very complicated & expensive equipment. I consider these foods & beverages, ultra processed, engineered, and try to avoid them, instead focusing on eating whole, natural, organic foods for lunch & dinner. 

I stopped eating breakfast a long time ago to solve health problems and it worked. Interval fasting was the cure for my previous Type 2 diabetes, through I still take metformin to boost mitochondrial function for health & wellness after learning that combining it with NMN a potent age reversal combination. I add extra water & a multi-B vitamin to this mix to further enhance the health benefits. I have more energy now at 40 years of age than when I was 30, so it's working.
