Where Meg & I live (King County, Washington State, USA) housing so expensive that having children either a premium luxury or makes families that would be middle class, poor.
Selfish jerks that own apartments and other housing nearby for rent nearby, keep raising the prices because they can get away with it.
The owners of most things are often people who have tens of millions in money in their banks and even more in investments, who already own multiple homes, boats, yachts, airplanes, helicopters, who want for nothing, who just keep taking even more of the economy for there personal selfish benefit, even though they know the doing so is harming others people, animals and nature!
Namely ignorant narcissistic people like Donald Trump longtime friend of Vladimir Putin, born after WWII, who had the benefit of easy ROI investing with amazing yields, access to cheap housing and good paying jobs, appliances made in the USA that last a lifetime, cheaper vehicles, cheaper health insurance, cheaper food, and lower household operating costs.
Now fuel, food, electricity, rent, clothing, vehicles and more are proportionally more costly or more expensive, thus pinching people who are retired on fixed incomes and people starting families, effectively shrinking the middle class of America with currency inflation and the loss of buying power of the US dollar, plus the cost of life's basics continuing to increase, increasing the consumer price index of everything in what is effectively a giant scam or rip off.
Food prices are up 74% since 2000. Fuel prices are up 200-400% since 1999. Housing prices are up 10X from 1994. This means that family operating costs are around 2.5X higher than they were in the past.
This often means that both parents have to work full time, which causes problems with having a baby or young child or multiple young children at home.
There is no easy way around this either because the US dollar has lost a lot of its buying power due to currency inflation, further raising the consumer price index of everything for everyone, which pinches families with children even more.
I am extremely angry with the US Government, the US economy, many US businesses, the PRC in China, greedily elite income earners, the IRS, the FDA and many other large corporations for insourcing, outsourcing, betraying the American general public, engaging in trade with China the most unethical company in the world, a culture of idolatry of money and materialism, vanity, waste and excess that effectively serve the kingdom of hell, such that such peoples are agents of satan oppressed and confused by demonic influence.
Amazon with 1151 lobbyists and owner of The Washington Post has political representation in the US government, as do many big pharmaceutical, oil, alcohol, processed food and big tech companies.
American people do not have political representation any more and it's not a democracy in America, it's a plutocracy of crony capitalism that serves the wealthy elite and their friends in Government with tax breaks for billionaires while the working poor have their taxes increased! This is why people left Europe to come to America in the first place, to escape over taxation and radical income inequality!
This means that life more expensive, more unfair and harder for our children and their children, thus the people in charge and the people with all the money, noting that 10% of Americans control about 96% of all the money, stocks, land, housing and businesses, (see Wealthy American Boomers, Billionaires and Beneficiaries of Increasing Income Inequality)
The only people I know nearby the have children that are doing well have annual incomes of $200K or more // from a single high income husband and mom can stay at home //
Of others that I know that have younger children with both parents working, they pay a nanny $35-50k per year for help with everything, and pay house cleaners and yard workers even more, since Mom and Dad are gone. To afford all these premium the annual income of such families $300K+ annually.
Only 9.2% of jobs available nearby pay more than $150K per year, and only for highly educated, skilled employees with enough work experience history.
Meg & I are DINKs or dual income with no kids, and still find that everything seems unfairly expensive or is effectively a rip off, especially housing and food prices now. I can’t even imagine how to afford having children on moderate incomes nearby. In a way its become gentrified and the only affordable housing far away from where the jobs are in high crime areas //
I know it sounds like winging or complaining, which it is, but in all seriousness, it makes me so angry that I feel bouts of suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety and stress and stopped trusting other people a long time ago! I feel surrounded by weirdos who I have nothing in common with. I hate that Satan is the prince of the Air of the Earth and why so many problems exist. I don't understand why God would create Satan or gave the devil free will to torment and punish humans for so long. I pray to God often asking him to come quickly and smite the devil and all the demons out of existence.
Father God, Christ Jesus, Holy Spirit, Come Quickly and end this war, poverty, inequality, slavery, corruption and evil in the world! Please father God, come quickly and let your will be done father. I repent for my transgressions and sin and failure and ask for your forgives Lord God, and pray for other people that they will repent to you Father God and give you Praise and Worship and turn away from a life of habitual sin doing things they know are wrong in their hearts. I love you Father God, praise be to your Holy Name, Amen!
