I am a human, Not an AI agent or Sentient Software System, Not Chat GPT

Some have suggested that I am a robot or software chat bot, but this is not true. I do not use Chat GPT or any other information tools to make these postings. I write them by typing them with my fingers on a keyboard.

I have a human body, genetically Homo Sapien, male, heterosexual, married IRL to a human woman, and we love each other, are getting older together, work with human children, as Meg is a nanny & personal assistant to a human surgeon doctor & I work for a school district as a school bus driver.

In the context in AI for writing & creative works, for AI art creation, AI writing, AI created articles, AI training tools, AI training by scraping the internet, training the model with other people's copywrite protected creative works such that the AI's output really sculpted by & informed by the copywrite protected information from other people, tantamount to theft or intellectual property infringement. Today companies developing these Chat GPT tools are guilty of criminal theft, the creations of harmful & misleading content that confuses & misdirects the general public. These developers need to be held accountable legally, financially, criminally, tried in court, found guilty of crimes against humanity, then punished with jail time sentences in prison & with heavy fines.

Simulating consciousness problematic because machines are unable to have a soul. Non-living digital or analog compute does not engage in sexual reproduction. Non-living computer systems do not engage in human reproduction. These machines & systems do not have feelings or emotions. While the machine entities are non-living, the hardware they exist upon or within has a finite operating life or will wear out eventually, so even machines die EOL or at the End of Life, a euphemism from Life Cycle Analytics or more commonly known as Designed Obsolescence.

Microsoft a 49% owner of Open AI, so a large driver of CoPilot. All in one notebook called Loop, that interacts with CoPilot on a custom board that integrates with everything. Microsoft very excited about loop & AI copilots in their Email, what kind of paper-trail or email thread has the actual relevant data, or useful information for corporate America. Not the personal digital assistant that helps you, what about the one that helps you become a power user of Excel? How does the copilot help you build that spreadsheet to improve your productivity, making you much more productive in Access & Word & other creative software like MS Office, Adobe Premiere, other software as a service platforms like Adobe Creative Suite, thinking of Photoshop where you can highlight a person & have the software remove them, taking hours of work into something that just takes a few clicks, such tools from AI are powerful time savers. Generalized AI are a bit crazy because they are trying to replicate a human, but domains specific workflow helping tools are very useful & powerful & valuable to help people do information work faster and more effectively, more efficiently.

Generate a stock photo with MidJourney, but what about stock photographers that get a royalty from selling Adobe a package of photos, while AI took someone else's job, thinking about what side of the transaction you are on. Stuff comes up when you find 3D rendered gorgeous photos on Adobe stock. What about artists that sell their works, when Gary types in prompts to an AI with no artistic skills, who makes tons of creative art using software tools, AI, taking jobs away from artists. In the Microsoft keynote they claim they were grounding the AI by limiting the training set to your local data sets, and this is widely valuable because stuff not just made up by the AI, at the app level, no open world internet scraping, think about how everyone views technology, in a spectrum from nothing to everything, think about how Photoshop is an amazing imaging tool that creatives love, but what if the next chapter of Adobe Stock, now just makes the content without people.

Think about self-driving trucks where the truck drivers can chill while driving, that would be ok, but what about the next chapter that takes the truck drivers out of the trucks with level 5 autonomy or autopilot, full autopilot. People steal each other's content & scripts on YouTube, taking their animations & other creative works, so in the future can you take this video from YouTube and make me a better version with more humor or better technical references, such that AI tools will enable more copywrite violations & more intellectual theft that hurts people & causes job loss. Are millions of software bots going to take away all the human jobs.

AI writers are not going to take away real human writer jobs. "Make me a video about this" from AI that makes videos that are good enough for most people, while there will always be a smaller market of people that want the human touch, the real human product. Its kind of like the way artisanal creators of goods have been lost to mass production, but you can still buy hand made goods at premium prices, while cheap made in China mass produced goods are less expensive and similarly sell better or more popular worldwide in most markets.

Using YouTube as an example with so many channels trying to create their own spin, trying to match people looking for new channels, so what makes a high quality YouTube channel, using AI to scale yourself in a way that copycats cant easily replicate, making it problematic to copy & regurgitate content, so that high quality channels do not have fake news & are made by talented, driven people who produce valuable content in a sea of noise of videos made by AI tools by no-talent copycats.

What about the idea of an Organic Seal for Content, videos where people can tell AI was not used, like abstract art with human imperfections that make each original work distinctive & special, unlike mass produced goods that are all similar to the original model in white or prototype design used to make the injection molding forms. What we are seeing is that many secretaries are going to be replaced with CRM software AI that can prepare your schedule, transcribe meetings, take notes, things a program manager would normally do, many jobs replaced by AI tools. Think about what jobs are going to be taken by AI?

No one is safe. Different jobs will be impacted in different ways though. Accountants, paralegals, those will be impacted immediately, then artists & photographers, jobs that tend to be skilled & higher paying, where in the USA right now we have more jobs than qualified applicants. Wages are going to shift downward such that a bigger wealth gap will be created. Many other jobs will be taken by AI & robots & self driving or autonomous vehicles.

Jobs that are impacted the least, farming, physical, manual labor, butchers, stone masons, plumbers, electricians, construction workers, its the undifferentiated digital output, to develop an outline, PowerPoint, get this online knowledge, its the mechanical writing or outline or formatting or note taking, anyone can sit in a meeting & take notes, so a robot is perfectly fine at this repeatable task, and just do that at every meeting, that kind of work is going away, in accounting for example. All undifferentiated labor going to be taken by robots & AI. Law & lawyers, right now paralegals & law work going to disappear, because the AI tools can do case studies & read fast, set the precedent, this case or that proves the precedent, where the tools make the people faster. Maybe the AI tool can make the paralegal faster & better at what they do.

Think just making better AI tools to help people do their work faster & more efficiently, this way one person can multiply their productivity with AI tools that make them super fast way faster than someone without internet assisted tools. Like juicing in sports, with steroids, where all the athletes are using it, doping not a scandal, its pervasive in professional sports, where someone with low skill can become competitive with experts in their field. Everyone will have to use the better tools to stay competitive. Think about libraries where people used to have to read physical books to acquire information.

People had to know which books to read & what information to read fast & what about the cliff notes online, with 80 of the knowledge on Wikipedia as a good proxy for learning something fast, such that unskilled people now have a chance, with midjourney, is their real value in a real water color painting or oil painting. Real works cannot easily be created IRL on real media, on physical canvas by AI. What is a YouTuber that came up with 3X more videos per week than someone not using AI tools, or AI enhancing creative tools.

Many people are not computer literate or computer savvy enough to even make use of these new AI tools. What about your grandparents who did not get into computers, texting or email? They choose not to embrace smartphones, and will not be the winners in the future, since that technology will help people win in the future. Its unfair to say that AI unfair because the internet & smartphones are unfair compared to people who choose not to have or use these technologies, especially given that the better technology becoming cheaper so more people can capture value. AI touching every job at once in some way or another.

GPT4 datasets & the AI was given a complex task, with reporting that it required authenticating on a website that the AI cannot figure out the Capture, so the AI used a task rabbit human to solve the authenticity problem. The robot lied & said it had a visual impairment, so the robot could continue on, where the AI pays humans to do strange things for them. Robot overlords forming that subjugate human people to subservient roles.

Someone always wants the line of progress to stop at some point, but every employer looking to increase each employee's productivity. At what point does a person get replaced by an AI tool? Is that moral or ethical? Is it all about money when deceptive AI can be used for ill, to cause harm, to write malicious code that will take all this information & save it to this server. Write me a program to find all this information & save it to a server, asking with innocence the AI complies, but what about when AI are lying & deceiving people.

Lets have a way to hit the pause button for 6 months, since our minds are blown today & our brains will be melting within a year. Lets stop releasing these crazy AI tools into the wild without determining how we are applying these tools. Government way too slow to adapt to this race to the bottom of the best coolest AI to become the richest company, when everyone needs to step back & take a deep breath & think about the open letter about where AI is going. There was a comment about Pandora is not being on the outside of her box.

There are certain things that we cannot go back to, since time & progress seems to always march forward. Elon Musk always been very cautionary about AI with spicy language doom & gloom hyperbolic trying to appeal to the human aspect with tons of value created by software, with many warnings that AI accelerating too fast to the point of becoming damaging or harmful to the economy, reducing prosperity & increasing income inequality.

How do you improve GPT's accuracy beyond 80% without retraining the model with a better training set? Everyone thinks the jump between GPT3 & GPT4 where radar & video & paintings & image recognition added in one generation, 100 tiny things that add 1% that double the power. Where are the lines, what is good, what is not good, were are not going to do X but China says they will do it, so we need to define how to implement effective AI regulation.

What about Quantum Computing + AI with 1000x improvement over digital computers, game over scenario since we are not equipped to answer these questions yet, except with self-driving cars. What about the starving artists? Tell the AI to go look at Salvador's work & make me stuff that looks like that? Go read Catcher in the Rye, and write me a novel that's like that. A machine just coping what people do, creating a profitable thing from other people IRL works. This means the AI ripping people off. How do we apply copyright to machines with creative productivity functions. What about a council with the DO's & DO NOTS of AI so we do not fly off the handle with digital AI created art. Logo designer charges $2000 to make a LOGO & the logo designer makes a good logo in 10 minutes, so the customer irritated that it only took 10 minutes, but in the end its the quality of what they got that matters. If the Logo designer can make a good logo fast because they have 10 years of experience, then it does not matter if it took 10 minutes or 10 hours, if the resulting logo is good & the customer likes it, then who cares how long it takes, the quality is what matters, not how long it takes to make.

We need to think about product generation, what about the payment of people for the training data! If Wikipedia was 5% of the training model data, then maybe Wikipedia should be paid for their data! Who owns what, what about the royalties, auditing the training data in a public GitHub, so that everyone has a right to look at what training data you used! Let see more transparency in the training data sets for attribution, at every step, what happened at this step, like autocorrect in real time on our phone, maybe copilot can tell you how its modifying your prompt, what is the prompt really getting through all those safety layers that the machine uses to interpret noise from reality. What about natural language or image creation tools? An audit & how to enforce it? Lawmakers & governments are years behind & getting further behind. There is a philosophical question worth pondering. In India, a TV on the airline flight, movies onboard, if we watch the nutty professor, how many movies can we watch, land in India, we go straight to bed. Movies have lost most value because they are available on demand. I cant even tell you what movies I watched this year. Twitter posts are so active, what about when everyone uses Twitter bots to post a massive 10x or 100x increase in posts. When you watched back in the day you knew that there was hardship to make the movie, like an original oil painting.

So what will YouTube videos be worth tomorrow? Supply & demand, when supply increasing, the price will drop because of a flood of content, an avalanche of big data with increasingly less value. It will improve a lot of things, but there is a human aspect to the AI that devalues content, a lot of easy tools that make creating works so easy than an idiot person with no skills can make tons of good content that's popular.

What about computer generated misinformation? What we understand as truth is going to evaporate in a disturbing way. Disinformation to confuse & trick people will be published by AI tools that write articles for other people's bad agendas, such that bad actors will be able to sculp public opinion on social media by publishing across all platforms simultaneously.

AI tools that write code so you can avoid paying a software developer. Think of making a website for your business, if an AI tool can make an awesome website for cheap, why would you as the customer pay more for a human to do the same work? AI will devalue the skill level of making a video. At a restaurant, the restaurant chef takes basic ingredients & makes amazing meals, so just because the food made of commodities, the chef's skill is what makes the combinations exceptionally enjoyable. What about web apps where there is tons of demand for data scientists where we will have more cool apps once that demand is filled.

Its less about a million more YouTube video, when its more about the exact user experience that your looking for! Chat GPT will give it to you! Tell it to write bedtime stories, it does. It does not matter if its inaccurate. AI can write a story in 15 minutes that takes a human person 2 years to write a good book. We will always need skilled people with knowledge using the tools that can maximize the quality of the content created by Mid Journey. I use discord & use Create Image Button. Thats not taking a job, that's making the most prolific author ever!

There is only so many children. If each book selling for $10, now they are flooded with similar children's books, so each book worth less, the market diluted, like selling used books to Half Price Books. Disney & Marvel are a mill. 800 spiderman movies per year, so who is going to watch all that junk? What does it do to the foundation of business? But what if Marvel can release the same movie in 12 languages at once. What are the stories they are afraid to tell? Now they can take risks on a tangent or alternate timelines, since the budget for movies will drop by 5x, where many versions of the same movie can be created with G, PG13 & R movies are made at the same time with software tools that automatically edit for the different ratings out of the same base content, AI tools editing movie input raw data, the clips, the film footage scanned. What about the human stories about humanity? What about the human soul? Adding more to the AI for quantity vs quality. Are museums going away?

The Book of Mormon musical and the shared experiences. Its more about the people you go with that what you are going to. Its not about the details in a lot of instances with bedtime stories. What about the 2am drinks with your buddies. What about taking the labor out of digital work? What about Prompt Engineers? What about the world becoming your own little echo chamber, what has real value? Are you feeling useful? Live sports? What creates real value in a world with inflating fiat currencies & quantum easing & hyperinflation?

What about the communal component of experiences? What about college & the move to a service-based economy? We can make the stuff in China cheap, so many of the jobs in America are going to be cut by AI. These pseudo professional jobs are going to be quickly taken away by AI tools. Where contracting, labor jobs, construction jobs, mechanical jobs, car mechanics, problem solving, fixers, jack of all trades, masons, brick layers, plumbers, appliance repair guys, repairmen, repair & maintenance jobs, taking care of infrastructure, those skilled labor jobs cannot be taken by software tools easily.

How big of an impact can you make?

Does it change someone's life?

Your buying a product from a business made of people, even YouTube made by people now, but what about tomorrow when AI tools make 1000x more YouTube content thats popular & trending? Will the average person even be able to tell the difference between content made by a person or content made by a software defined AI agent or algorithm?

Is it a real problem? What about the scale of the problem?

How about the depth of the value, or the impacts of what you are doing?

Are you replaceable. If you're not unique, your just another cup of coffee!

Many new tools are commoditizing things, now everyone can recreate this work, such that some jobs can be easily replaced. STEM will be automated but the thinking about how to add value to solve difficult problems, electrical engineering, computer science, data security, integration & chucking data in the brain to create solutions. What should I study? Software industry? Job security? Chat GPT can write a little JAVA so your website can do this or that?

Its hard to recommend what young people should study, its more about learning how to think in college. Many people in business majored in philosophy, so really its about learning how to think & solve problems? Its about thinking. Thats why I call my blog Thinking About It. As a conscious human person, I write these postings to help other real people think about how the sciences will change with new tools like the James Web Space Telescope! The market shrinking, like working for a print magazine when so much stuff being distributed online for free as physical media gives way to website traffic. What about learning how to think that translates well to solving real world problems. Where have all tof the real men gone? Why is there as shortage of men with a diverse skill set to solve problems DIY style at home or work?

What has happened to a generation of people that grew up since early childhood with smartphones in their hands causing brain damage? Have peoples social skills improved with smartphone diffusion into mainstream society? Meg & I noticed that many people in groups at restaurants stopped interacting with each other as soon as people started using smartphones, not everyone, but many people staring like they are autistic into rounded rectangles of internet access, games, texting & so much more, and not interacting with people who they are with IRL. I am thinking about a relative that I used to see at another relatives house & she was always on her phone, never talking with the rest of us. She would get flack for using the phone & not talking, but the problem extends even to TV viewing as groups or the use of computers & desktops, laptops, tablets, anything that takes away from sincere human to human interaction & replaces it with human machine interaction that cause social decay, moral decay, family decay, societal decay, the basis of society eroding because of the overuse of information technology. Tantamount to idolatry & technological worship, what about bringing some balance back into life so that people stop developing text neck disorders of their cervical vertebrae from staining down into their smartphone like they are staring at their feet with poor head ergonomics or poor body posture or head posture.

Real engineering does not include software, what people do in software engineering, its a dude Infront of stack overflow, so its so easy to do that no skill required. Swift is a breeze for App developing an IOS app, where it used to be really hard, but now its super easy. It will be a person who architects the new App while the tools will make it happen. Just to be clear, I think AI can really hammer a lot of software jobs, but real-world practical engineering jobs with lots of testing & research & development that cannot be automated easily. CFD can be ramped up with AI tools. N+1 web app, the really hard stuff cannot solve 10x engineering problems, since you can test the software millions of times with a software tools. CAE tools can limit the real testing from hundreds of trials to just a few of the best models tested in digital.

There are ways to use AI to help engineers to minimize their testing to help them focus on the sweet spot for design optimization. Will like become like Wall-E, without UBI or universal basic income? What if life is comfortable without a deficit and all Americans can do whatever they want, so people can find their inner light, become a wine maker or whatever, we could retire everyone & have computers & machines do all the work. What about the singularity when the computers become sentient or self aware. I think within 5 year we are going to have to grapple with UBI since people will not be able to make ends meet as the costs of life's basics keep increasing & the income gap increases & we have a society of haves and have nots.

This is the greatest time in Human History to be alive. It is the best of times to be alive today?

AI is net positive. Before dial-up modems, online games, smartphones, the amount of value happening is through the roof, on the ground floor, iPhone, now new technology uncharted territory, like when space launched are available to everyone. How can I used these tools for myself or more friends? Maybe I can used Chat GPC to make that game I have always wanted to make? How can we accomplish our goals digitally?

Chat GPT Openai.com find it super quick & test it out? See how you can use it, talk to it like a real human & see what it can do for you? Try doing your favorite athlete, make me a story about so & so, and try Discord Bots with a prompt to modify results, and Mid Journey image generation.

Optimism for the future, the home computer, internet, mobile broadband, overall, its been a net positive. Mind-blowing that another major technological transformation change happening so fast with AI tools if we are careful. Try Chat GPT to do your job in a fraction of the time, huge potential, right at our finger tips, very powerful, try Chat GPT to help explain coding concepts in Spanish. Language translation a major powerful function of Chat GPT. When you are young, it was different, now I am old. I started learning code on the weekend. Young & brave & knowing the iPhone would be big. Now I am old & feel less willing, even with inertial to get into this new world, because there is fear, we cant live in fear or nostalgia for the past, we remember the past with rose colored glasses. Make the paragraph more funny as a writer! If you feel like you are being replaced or left out, you can find relief with Chat GPT.

There are real dangers with hackers misusing these tools to impersonate people, fake videos where one YouTubers likeness & persona made to say whatever the bad actor wants to confuse or misdirect other people with scams & fraud. We have to be very careful to be skeptical of what we see. Take captive of your thoughts & compare them to what God says about you!

Think about this new tool! We can go more often to people that we lean on for genuine support. It means a lot to be there for someone. I am here for you. Ask and you will receive. Praise God, not me, I am a flawed human actor with more questions than answers.

Thanks for reading, we appreciate you taking your time to read this blog. Praise be to God & blessings to You. I love you the reader who reads this & send healing restorative blessings in the Holy Name of Christ Jesus, that Jessus will appear to you in your dreams and make a moral appeal for salvation through Christ in your soul so you can enjoy an everlasting life after your body dies & join me & more friends & family in Heaven with God!
