Electric Kick Scooters

WOLF WARRIOR 11 PRO + $2,749.00

Wow, as of 2022 there are dual motor electric kick scooters that can go 80 mph; see-> https://youtu.be/Nn-IqhezeZw , with 12 kilowatts of dual motor power from 3+ kWh of lithium ion batteries, with dual hydraulic disk brakes, regenerative braking, hydraulic suspension, that cost many thousands of dollars! High Performance Electric Scooter ^^

Personal mobility scooters include app rental scooters by LIME & similar. Some cities have so many app rental e-scooters zooming around that the pedestrian residents find riders of these scooters to be an annoyance, irritating, recklessly swerving around people waling on sidewalks, running into people, never wearing helmets & being rude & inconsiderate. I never ride my Segway Mini Pro like that, sometimes I even take it into Safeway, to go grocery shopping.

I go less than 2 mph & use it like a disabled person might use the power assistance electric grocery basket chair or mobility assist scooters that elderly people often use while grocery shopping because of hip, knee, ankle or foot injuries, arthritic joint damage or limited mobility.

Under Washington State law I am protected using the electric self balance scooter at low speeds inside retail stores like Target, Costco or Safeway, as an EPMAD or electronic personal mobility assist device! I always ride inside stores slowly, kindly considering others around me, never zooming past anyone, being respectful & polite to other people I encounter.

I get a lot of interested looks and "That's cool" style comments from people when they see me riding the Segway while pushing a grocery cart. Some of the employees & other customers ask me about it. I feel honored to be a diplomat in first person to explain the technical attributes and other aspects about riding it. A few different people riding disability assist scooters have asked me how the self balancing scooter performs, its range, around 10 miles or 16km now, its top speed, around 10 mph or 16 kph, how long I have had it, more than 6 years, how much it cost, around $1000.

I wonder how many emergency room visits are due to these electric kick scooters, electric skate boards & similar battery electric vehicle like my aging Segway MiniPro self balancing scooter by Ninebot. I got the $1000 magnesium alloy version with the 350 Wh lithium ion battery. Ninebot later cost optimized down to $500 by making newer version with a smaller 300 Wh battery & using steel & plastic that flexes more & much lower quality, the version that Meg got & sold to Jaeson who bought it for his teenage daughter.

There are super high power e-bikes that can go freeway speed, with 5kWh of LiPO batteries in packs mounted all around the bicycle frame. Dual wheel motors with many thousands of watts of performance. As batteries continue improving electric vehicles keep improving, of all scales, from electric scooters, to electric aircraft, we keep improving the energy density of battery chemistry for Formula-E high performance electric racing vehicles, for VTOL autonomous passenger drones & for quadcopter like my DJI Mini 2 photography & video 4K drone!

Look at some of the electric kick scooters in this table database! Amazing

Go Motherboard 2000X NiMH Version

Way back in late 2002 I purchased an aluminum electric Go Motorboard 2000 electric kick scooter. It featured Hawker Cyclone AGM Gell batteries cells in four 4vdc modules for a 16vdc battery pack, under the grip tape covered wood deck, held down with large Philips screws. I used this electric kick scooter to circumvent the University of Washington parking fee's. I would put the scooter in the trunk of my car, drive & park off campus, then ride the scooter into campus.

The direct drive 750 watt motor drive system was unusual. It featured two electric motors with the output shaft textured contacting each side of the rear polyurethane tire, such that the output shafts from the motors perpendicular to the tire edge, thus driving it like a worm gear to accelerate.

You had to kick start before the drive system would energize, it also feature regenerative braking so the batteries would charge when riding downhill or when slowing to a stop, by lightly modulating the throttl-e-brake lever. At 19.5lbs, the folding T6 aluminum frame was durable & strong & able to freewheel coast. It provided 5 years of reliable service before I tore it down for up-cycling in an art project & lamp. Sadly, these Go Motherboards were discontinued by the manufacture! The last versions were upgrade with NiMH batteries with better energy density & longer range per charge.

Amazon Cart "Segway" July 7th 2016 || $997.43

Been riding the Segway MiniPro for over 1000km. Its now almost 7 years old & still works great. Range not as great since the lithium ion batteries have faded. Amazon does not even sell these anymore. My ankles also do not allow me to ride the Segway MiniPro like I did in the past.

I got in several accidents while riding the Segway angry, once off a sidewalk into the street, causing me to flip rear end over my head, my backpack went flying & my glass water bottle shattered. I was far away from home on a hot summer day & had to ride home in shame, dehydrated, without water.

Another time I lost control after hitting a larger rock in the roadway near our previous home, which caused me to veer off into a rock lined drainage ditch on the edge of the roadway, which bent the left wheel axel very slightly such that ever since a slight wobble can be noticed while riding, an oscillation or imbalance. I went through hell changing a popped tire, and ending up filling the tires with tire slime sealer & still have to air them up periodically. I do not ride it much anymore sadly, I wish I could!

Specialized Crossroads, My Current Bicycle

A combination of injuries & personal health problems, I actually ended up buying a premium analog bicycle, a Specialized Crossroads, and started using that to commute to work, getting a good workout going as fast as I could reasonably go for the 15+ minute ride each way. I would arrive to work breathing so hard it was difficult to speak but a few words without taking another breath, drenched in sweat, feeling great! Those morning, mid morning, afternoon, and late afternoon too & from rides were amazing, made me feel great, lowered my A1C & average glucose readings. I have Type 2 diabetes from abusing salted caramels & other candy, even though I know a ton about the toxic effects of eating sugar, especially in excess.

2020 Yamaha MT-03 "Master of Torque"

In 2020 Meg allowed me to trade in our 2019 Honda GROM SF for a Yamaha MT-03, & I absolutely love this entry level motorcycle. Its a perfect balance of fuel economy, low cost & performance. Its top speed of over 100 MPH also makes it highway capable & it has enough juice to take Meg & I riding it 2Up on the freeway or highway, with backpacks, to motorcycle road trip together ^^

The seating geometry comfortable for me. I am 5' 11" tall, wear 32x32inch Levi jeans if you want to get an idea of my leg spar length, & can comfortably place both feet flat on the ground when stopped. I think the seat height low around 30 inches. The 321cc offset parallel twin cylinder fuel injected emission controlled gasoline engine produces around 40 hp & 22 ft-lbs of torque.

The 6 speed sequential transmission, 1 left foot click down to 1st gear, neutral a half click up towards 2nd gear, 4.5 more clicks to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th gear respectively. The right foot lever controls the rear hydraulic break. The left hand lever the engages the clutch. The right hand twists the throttle & right hand lever activates the hydraulic front brake. The braking system has ABS.

MT03 a fun interactive motorcycle to ride with the manual shifting, thinking about rev matching, modulating the throttle, selecting gears & matching the RPM's before allowing the clutch to engage the flywheel to prevent rev drag. The gearing allows the MT-03 to hit top speed in 4th gear, such that 5th & 6th gear are really cruising gears to lower RPM's at highway & freeways speeds and to improve fuel economy.

I actually ride by using nearly full throttle, soft fast on & off, but shift very early for better fuel economy, utilizing hypermiling knowledge about brake specific power & torque with lower shift points, before 6k RPM, aiming for middle or lower 5k RPM or even upper 4k RPM's, i.e. I upshift quickly & often end up in 6th gear by 44 mph.

The engines power band soft below 4k RPM, making the power delivery easy for new riders to handle, part of why its considered an entry level motorcycle. The engine was extensively refined in the Yamaha R3 and really sings between 7,000 & 11,000 RPM. I twist the throttle fully when getting on a freeway onramp starting in 3rd gear & boy does it sound amazing, just loud enough but not obnoxious. It has 0-60 mph performance in under 6 seconds, so you can really feel the quickness when giving it full throttle. Yamaha being a musical instrument company must have done some acoustical tuning on the intake & exhaust because it sounds absolutely wonderful.

I wear ear plugs to block wind noises that can damage hearing & a full face helmet to block wind & protect my head & brain. I also wear a thick Italian leather motorcycle jacket, leather boots & tough riding pants. I even have a thermal insulating suit for riding on dry cold days during the winter. I did a custom tuning rear tail cleanup delete by removing the "whale tail" re-mounting the OEM rear turn signals with copper wire in a home spun improvised way. I also removed the exhaust and wrapped the exhaust system with black fiberglass, reinstalled it, so the catalytic converter warms up faster to clean up tailpipe emissions, while adding only a tiny amount of mass.

2020 MT-3 gives 57-85 miles per gallon based on riding style, terrain topography, air temperature & other factors, like when you shift up or down, throttle position, rider geometry & rider gear aerodynamics. Such that bigger people with loose or bulky clothing less aerodynamic & produce more drag, reducing fuel economy. Conversely smaller people wearing tighter sleek gear produce less aerodynamic drag & probably get better fuel economy. The fuel tank holds 3.5 gallons, so range something like 300 miles per fill-up with regular unleaded gasoline from a gas pump nearby.

The way you shift & modulate the throttle has the greatest impact on fuel economy & performance. That is also true in cars, trucks & SUV's. I suggest you watch a YouTube video about "How to Hyper-mile to Improve Fuel Economy" so you can save money on gasoline by driving smarter, safer, smoother, with predictive analytic safety focused techniques that also reduce emissions, make your vehicle last longer, reduce wear on the breaks, make your tires last longer, reduce fuel consumption & helps you save money that you would have been spending buying more gasoline if you do not apply safe hypermiling driving techniques. I learned about Hypermiling from Wayne Gerdes, on Green Car Congress & Tree Hugger websites respectively.

How you ride or drive & where you focus your attention greatly impacts riding safety. If you focus on safety while riding you can ride for 20+ years in traffic on the street, like me, without getting into a bad accident. I have slipped while walking on some motorcycles, on sand, and lightly dropped my scooter or motorcycle, nothing serious. I just got off, picked it back up & kept riding. I have never been in a motorcycle or motor scooter accident. Only bicycle & Segway accidents!

Electric Scooter Concepts

Micromobility, urban mobility, first mile last mile problem. Too far to walk, but not far enough to justify driving a car or riding the bus, train or similar public transportation. Bicycle range. Takes too long to walk, but driving a car does not even charge the battery or warm the engine up all the way, results in terrible fuel economy & really terrible cold start & cool engine emissions of air pollutants.

I can ride from my home to the local grocery store on my Segway, with a backpack to carry groceries, or I can collect them with a reusable bag or even fill plastic bags that I have to pay $0.04 each for at the store & carry those home as I ride the Segway MiniPro back. It takes 4x longer to walk, too & from the grocery store, because I walk at 2-3 mph while the Segway can cruise at 10 mph // I can do it even faster cranking my bicycle, but then I have to lock it up & that's annoying, since its a nice Specialized bicycle that bike thieves love to steal, slightly flashy or very nice looking in my personal opinion. With the Segway I can ride it there, while I am in the store, and ride it home again.

Persian Carpet Paradox

If you were granted a magical Persian carpet, that could freely take you anywhere, flying you there, where would you go & why?

Idle, Bored, & Running Out of Money

Do you ever notice all the people in car traffic, like drones, all going the same way, stuck in traffic congestion, like sheep being directed as a flock by a Shepard! I have had a lot of time to ponder, reflect, consider life, meditate, pray, think, write & talk about different things having been unemployed for many months now. I do not actually miss commuting or working, the grind. I feel free & actually want even more freedom, to be free of this world. I want my physical body to die, sick of suffering pain in my gut, colon, anus, joint pain, insomnia, hyper-somnia, depression, anxiety & stress.

Ideating about Suicide

I want it to end, I am tired of hating myself & feeling depressed & down with suicidal thoughts & ideation. I hate that I feel this way & don't want to feel this way & know that's a lot of it because I feel rejected by employers when I apply for jobs & never hear anything back, nothing seems to work, every day my money fading away, burning saved capital that I was careful to save up, now forced to burn because I have only tiny streams of income from investments, crypto currencies mining, ad revenue online, not enough to cover even a small fraction of my daily expenses. The rent price keeps going up, insurance, utilities, its always something. Our vehicles require financial outlays for insurance, tabs, fuel, maintenance. We buy food & I shop online for stuff that I buy to help out, because I am bored & depressed, because I just want to get a hit of happiness with a new solar PV toy or plasma tube device you can read about in my other postings.

Negative News Overwhelming

I see all the negative things in the world & find it challenging to stay hopeful or optimistic. I am talking about the war in the Ukraine, local & national economic problems, problems with crime, scams & pollution; preventable health problems, healthcare & drug costs increasing. Food, fuel & electricity & natural gas prices on the rise. Housing & rent prices on the rise. I am finding it hard to find a job even though I am highly qualified with lots of verifiable work history, a good resume, good references, a college education & related bachelors degree's! I don't understand why I never get a call back, perhaps its because people hate me, they don't like me or I am just unwanted & unloved. I am not sure, but it sure sucks.

I have No Reason to Be Depressed

Except that I feel useless, even though I clean, cook, do laundry, go grocery shopping, sort the trash & recycling & take them both to the respective dumpsters. I have 14 different hobbies to keep my mind active, this blog is one of them. Thankfully I have enough money & live in a virtual miracle where I have a warm safe place to live & food to eat, without working to make money. My wife makes money from working & we live with my mother.

Saving that Money

So no cool new fancy electric scooter for me. My bicycle also locked away hard to access up high inside a storage unit we rent to store all the stuff from our old home. Hopefully we can someday buy a home & reinstall all of the stuff we are storing and make use of it or enjoy it. It would be a 4 hour marathon to get my bicycle down from inside the top of the storage unit, removing many boxes & carefully climbing over a mountain of things stored, a dangerous operation no doubt.

Other Vehicle Options

Thankfully my Segway MP & Motorcycle, and cars are nearby. Meg & I also stored our 2013 Honda PCX150 scooter at Olga's house for now, so we can access it relatively easily. We live very blessed lives & I am lucky in so many ways, but still feel depressed, sad, fearful, alone, isolated, rejected, invisible, unwanted & unloveable. I hate myself for a lot of reasons that I don't want to share on this post, but they all related to not being the kind of person that God really wants me to be.

Obsession with Tech

I am obsessed with technology & care little about anything else, just wanting to see everything improve, especially with renewable energy development & the phasing out of carbon combustion like coal power & gasoline & diesel powered transportation giving way to electric vehicles, like these amazing battery electric brushless motor kick scooters available in 2022!

We have emerging 5G NR wireless & next generation 6G mobile broadband, 7G & 8G all on the horizon. New forms of faster wifi & better versions of bluetooth & NFC. RF transmissions, voice control of compute, more smart appliances, smart furniture, smart clothing, smart water heaters, smart thermostats, smart jewelry, smart headwear, smooth shoes, information technology even extends into smart cups & smart planes & smart surfaces, foldable displays. There are ton of different information display & lighting technologies available. Artificial intelligence & nuclear energy reactors are trending developments. Its an exciting time to be alive, unless you live in the Ukraine.

I read about new nuclear technology & share it on twitter ^^ I watch cool informational YouTube videos about all sorts of topics. I write blog articles every morning. I do cardio for exercise & weight training to improve muscle strength. I drink coffee in the morning & water during the day & evening to stay hydrated. I consume alcohol very sparingly. I don't use any other drugs, other than vitamins & metformin & lisinopril. I have faith in God. I don't ever mean to be negative, I even go out of my way to appear happy & to be nice & polite & outgoing when I walk to & from the office to get the mail for example. I frequently encounter people walking their dogs & talk with them about their dogs as a way of starting a conversation with a stranger. I really try to treat other people with dignity & respect, to do random acts of kindness & community service, to help out around the house, to be the best version of me even though I am not working for income.

I know that someday I will find a way to find peace, the peace of Christ Jesus that transcends all understanding. Though stressed out & frustrated by negative things happening in the world and my difficulty finding my next job, I also have an enduring tenacious spirit. I know that someone has to speak up & say something & I like promotion non-car transportation solutions, like high power high performance electric kick scooters & other micro-mobility personal transportation devices. They are the smallest, lightest, most efficient way to move a human & a backpack full of groceries, gear or similar!

Those get me jazzed up and excited. I actually love energy as a concept, especially energy conversion & applied energy, anything that moves or is energized, anything with engines, motors, batteries, things that go, power tools, power sports, e-bike, electric motorcycles, aircraft, ships, trucks, trains, energetic devices like directed energy weapons, plasma physics, energy physics, chemistry, biology, movement, activity, sports & recreation, toys, playing, having fun & enjoyment & trying to focus on doing things I like, but most of them cost money to do, which suck since I have almost no income & resist spending money with applied frugality & saving my money afraid of loosing it all, especially since I am having a hard time finding work or employment!

Thankfully Meg & I do not have children, since children would surely increase our operating costs. I look at our family as a unit, a system, with inputs & outputs, like a business, expenses & revenue, paying taxes, etc. Frugality applied is the only reasons I still have money, because I was careful to save & invest my past income for the future. Well, that uncertain future seems to have arrived. Praise be to God that I have anything, since so many other people are worse off. I know I am lucky & blessed, so feeling this way must be my fault!

Hiboy S2 Pro Purchased :) you can learn all about why bellow :P

Link to Hiboy S2 on Amazon

A 500 watt. brushless front wheel hub motor provides tractive energy through drilled solid tires that are puncture resistant & never need to have air added. Given that I will be riding this on the side of the road, where a lot of sharp tire puncturing things are located, I wanted to avoid air filled tires, pneumatic tires or pressurized or tube tires! Have a look at the tires & motor in the next image! All these images extracted from the amazon.com listing!

Hiboy S2 Pro Brushless Front-Wheel Hub Motor

Claimed top speed of 19 mph & top range per charge of 25 miles seems optimistic based on real world tests performed by YouTube reviewers of this product, that show more like 15 mph real world & 18 miles of range, if the rider weighs more than 150 lbs, if there is any wind, if its cooler or hotter than 77 F, basically real world conditions. Range reduced in very cold weather, rain & snow according to some reviews. Super hot weather causes the battery pack to overheat more easily, reducing hill climbing power & range while also causing the battery pack to degrade faster. The motor controller & BMS combine to reduce motor wattage, power output, battery load & top speed or hill climbing performance if the parts are overheating or too much load applied from a total ride & gear mass exceeding 220lbs.

Non-name brand Chinese lithium ion cells make this pack less durable, but they are also only ~$150 to replace with a new battery pack from Hiboy. Similarly the drilled solid tires are said to be cheap, since they are also known to wear out quickly when used as a commuter vehicle.

In my use case, this Hiboy S2 Pro will be more a mobility enjoyment toy, but I will run trips to & from the grocery store, using my backpack to store the stuff I buy when shopping, so that I can hold onto the handlebars with at least one hand :) S2 Pro presumably faster than my 6 year old Segway MiniPro that I still ride regularly. I am curious to test the performance & range differences between the old MP & S2 Pro. Hiboy claims the battery 36vdc / 11.6 AH, or 417.6 Wh nominal capacity, so perhaps 400 Wh real world.

I will fully charge the battery pack when it arrives & give 3 full deep cycles to format the battery pack, something that is essential for forming the protective SEI layer in new unused lithium ion batteries! SEI stands for solid electrolyte interphase, a passivation layer formed from the decomposition of the battery cell electrolyte that blocking electron exchange, while allowing Li+ ions to transport from the anode to cathode in lithium ion batteries. The SEI layer protect the electrochemical reactions that happen during further charge & discharge cycling of the cell, and reduce capacity loss from cell aging in idle batteries of packs not being cycled. Properly formatting a new lithium on battery enhances its useful life, its cycle life, its long term life & reducing capacity loss rates & promoting a longer calendar life of the battery.

Hiboy S2 Pro Dual Rear Shock Absorber Setup

Thankfully the rear wheel axel mounted to an articulating arm connected to dual shock absorbers that with special alloy springs that can simply adjusted with a wrench, to tune shock reduction to specific ride mass in order to reduce NVH from potholes & speed bumps & other road surface irregularities. This unit really meant for paved roads, it will be fun to test it on gravel, grass, dirt, snow, & other irregular non smooth surfaces. My 2016 Segway MP handles "light off-roading like a champ, though its quite the ankle & knee flog of body undulating to ride on unimproved surfaces, and correspondingly fun to take off-roading!"

The double braking system features a mechanical disk brake on the rear wheel axel & electronic eABS regenerative anti-lock braking on the front wheel hub motor axel. An optional seat can be purchased separately, a removable unit that makes commuting less intensive for people with limited stamina or who experience leg fatigue trying to ride a scooter like this for extended trips. I think of this as an in-city device, ideal for NYC or similar large metropolitan cities, think urban commenting in downtown areas. This is not a suburban commuter or road trip worthy vehicle, those kinds of Kickscooters cost north of $2000, like the Warrior X. That's way too much scooter, for me.

Person riding Hiboy S2 Pro in an Urban City Area

Going more than 15 mph on such a small vehicle sounds dangerous to me. Even going 10 mph on my Segway MP somewhat exciting, knowing that if the machine fails or if I make a rider mistake, it can chuck me face first into the street easily! That's happened before, I have been in a few different accidents on my older 2016 Segway MP. I have ridden it more than 743 miles as of today Oct. 13, 2022.

Did you know that a billionaire, then 62 year old James William Heselden, founder & entrepreneur behind Hesco Bastion Barrier Systems, who had purchased Segway Inc. died September 26, 2010, in the morning, while riding  \ 'gliding' \ an original "Rugged / off-road" version of the Segway PT on a trail path near a cliff edge embankment, which sent him falling over the edge & down into the River Wharfe, at the village of Thorp Arch, near Boston Spa, where according to the West Yorkshire Coroner, he had died of "multiple blunt force injuries of the chest & spine consistent with a fall whilst riding a gryobike"

Have Fun Safely, Think Safety

So, if you are gliding on a Segway or riding an electric kick scooter, pay attention to what is going on around you, what is known as situational awareness & be careful & think about being a safe, sane rider, but also have fun. You can have fun while being safe, so that you can keep having fun! People that "overdo" it end up being seriously injured or killed on sport bikes from riding too fast for example, without enough riding experience for such speeds, on public roads with other motorists & similar unpredictable hazards!

You never know if your going to encounter a drunk driver, someone distracted driving while trying to use their smartphone at the same time, someone driving while so tired their eyes feel heavy & they keep nodding off, or similar low skilled or dangerous drivers, intoxicated pedestrians, children that can "jump out into the road unexpectedly" from what seems like "no where" magically appearing in your pathway, so you should be able to brake suddenly & avoid an accident by carefully steering away from an impact. Think smooth & stable & be on point, sober & sharp!

Hey, I am not perfect. I have been in bicycles accidents many times since I started riding bicycles as a child. I mentioned in this post that I have crashed while riding my 16 Segway MiniPro several times. I have dropped my motorcycles & motor scooter while moving them with my feet at very low speeds, by slipping on gravel or sand, usually on sloped surface that helped me "tip over" gently. I always just got off, picked up the bike & got going again, thankfully!

Hiboy S2 Pro "Smartphone" App

An app called Hiboy allows you to use your smartphone to customize acceleration & braking response & to "lock" the scooter. It comes with a 6 month warranty on some parts & 12 month warranty on other parts. Hiboy scooters are known to have a very high quality build at affordable price points. I almost went with the much cheaper base S2 but got the S2 Pro because it has more motor wattage 500 watts vs 350 watts, & a larger battery, 417 WH vs 270 WH respectively. I live in a hilly topographically variable mountainous area with lots of slopes to climb on common road routes I am likely to tackle with the electric kick scooter.

Thankfully there is a clear daylight visible display that gives useful information about speed & battery state on the handlebar stem that's easy to read "At a glance" quickly, so you can keep your eyes on the road ahead, ears listening to what's happening behind you. Look around & embrace good situational awareness, staying focused on having fun & being safe at the same time!

Hiboy S2 Pro Dash Information Display

It features a 3-click to active / close "Cruise Control" Setting the speed in cruise control mode done by maintaining a speed for 5 seconds until a beep heard, then the scooter will maintain that speed, which you can override by touching the brake or throttle.

Surely a scooter with higher power motors of 800w or 1000w or dual 1000w or 2000w or 5600w would have been better for climbing hills easily, but e-kick scooters with that much power can go so fast, 30-45 mph, some even go faster than 55 mph, not exactly safe given the small wheels & short wheelbase. The fastest electric kick scooters can hit 80 mph & that's nuts or crazy to ride a tiny vehicle that fast! If I had something like that I would likely put myself in reckless danger riding it too fast without any special safety gear, the way I ride my Segway now as an expert rider. I just wear normal street clothes & hope on. I even ride wearing slip on sandals, nothing crazy, slower, though I bump up against it 10mph speed limiter that tilts my body back awkwardly & makes the Segway Beep warning that I have gone too fast, the Segway App on my phone also displays a warning about how I have exceeded the speed limiter. I have been riding the Segway for 6+ years & have lots of riding experience. I think the longest road trip I went on with the Segway was from Fremont in Seattle to Fairwood in Renton & it took all day, or a full day, since I had to stop & charge 3 different times, for many hours of charging total.

Hiboy S2 & S2 Pro & other Variants are Great Values!

On Amazon.com I paid $605.54 for a new Hiboy S2 Pro, after clipping a $140 coupon. Originally $999, discounted 31% to $689, with the coupon, taxes & all said, $605.54 was the total price paid :) Not bad give that my GoMotorboard back in 2002 was $399 + $40 tax or $440, which if you adjust for inflation equal to $737.41 in USD2022 as found by using the inflation calculator from the US Bureau of Labor & Statistics website tool available at https://www.bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htm. So technically this new HiBoy S2 Pro cost less than the old GoMotorboard, when adjusting for inflation, and it is way faster & technically superior in nearly every respect! Well, I obviously sold myself the unit, without even watching any of the Amazon listing videos yet, that's up next :)
