Some of the nicest & most genuine & sincere people I have ever met & had the pleasure of interacting with are gay. This wonderfully gay man named Chris helps me every time I go to Safeway. He works in the bakery & my mother asks me to get a loaf of bread sliced for her there, so I do, & Chris helps me, every time!
When Meg & I were in London, England, we were staying at the Prince Arthur & having a beer at the pub on the ground floor when we met this lovely beautiful man who kept smiling at us. We struck up a conversation with Miguel Valenciano & he told us a little bit about his life, his loss of someone dear to him that he loved greatly & missed. He was one of the most friendly people I have ever met. We had a wonderful time interacting with Miguel & both smile reflecting on these memories. When Meg worked at whole food & met some of the nicest lesbian women who were incredibly kind to me. I asked some liberal friends of mind about this & they told me that some members of minority groups are especially kind to other people as ambassadors of their group. Everyone wants to belong to something. Meg & I for example belong to the Kingdom of God. There are all kinds of clubs to join, pick yours carefully!
In college I made friend with lots of gay & lesbian people & went to their GLBT events & even became part of their club. I wanted to show them that a Christian like me was acceptation of & loving towards them. Christ Jesus my Lord & Savior said to be kind & loving towards all other people & he himself hung out with prostitutes & other different classes people to bring them edifying morality & ethical teachings so that they could love themselves & therein become able to love God & other people. If you are a person of faith, I know that some culture in China & the Middle East are not accepting of gay people. Over time, with improve cultural acceptance & social progress these nations will become more like most parts of America, friendly to gay & lesbian & transgender people.
Inclusiveness about being accepting of all other people, within reason. Its about being kind & nice & respectful of other people. In America there is a cultural term called "being woke" that describes social awareness of the fact that your not everyone; that all people are unique & special & worthy of being respected intrinsically so long as they are mutually respective of you. The saying it goes both ways with reciprocity, this applies also to social interactions.
Humans are a social species & most of what makes us different than other animals on Earth boils down to our ability to communicate with one another to collaborate & compete honestly * peacefully to make everything better over time. We can improve everything in the world & with more love especially improve the way that people treat each other. This means looking at other people through eyes of love, inspired by a divine enhance view where the love you have for God overflows such that you exude kindness & respect for all other people!
Separate the sin from the sinner, Jesus commands his followers. We are all sinners & all make mistakes & all do things that are not perfect or honorable to God. Everyone makes mistakes & all people are imperfect & no one has all the answers.
We are also all together as humans in this life on Earth together, like it or not & work better in all ways when we collaborate peacefully, trading & competing & developing & improving everything for the benefit of everyone now & in the future. We can overcome all problems, including developing mastery to control the Earths climate to address climate change. We can & will develop solutions to solve & cure all diseases & medical disorder. We will find other habitable planets & go there & expands human civilization & in order to do this well we need to accept everyone today more, in more ways, more of the time.
I did not choose to be heterosexual, I just am. I did not pick a favorite color or flavor, its just happened. There are aspects of your persona that you cannot explain logically. Sometimes, you just like something more than other things. Preferences for colors or flavors or smells are unique to you & even the way you experience those things in your brain is unique to you! It's worth repeating that your not everyone!
You might be surfing though content on Netflix to find that best piece of content to enjoy & notice that they are is lot of content that is not in your wheel house. Thats because other people are different than you. Someone who disowns their children for being different from them, is crazy! This often happens when straight parents have a gay child & is a travesty & sad when it does. These bigot parents internalized old ways of thinking about human sexuality that will die off & be greatfully forgot & at least left in the past where such insanity belongs.
You have absolute free will & agency over how you operate as a person. It does not matter what other people are doing. As long as you are able to exercise your freedom & agency, don't worry about what others are doing or what they think of you! Be the most you in all ways! Don't copy others, do it, live, your own way, what ever floats your boat within reason. Most of all folks, consider being kinder & nicer to all other people. All means ALL! Everyone!
