"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young" ~ Henry Ford
After leaving college, I began living a life of seclusion, taking care of my sick parents. I could feel my mind becoming more dim, and interviewed with more reading, hiking for cardio, and writing to keep the spark of cognition burning brightly as I began working a retail job to pay bills as my wife and I started out of our life together. When we were dating I encouraged her to go back to college, and she did :) Today we have intellectual discussions about life and both desire to continue understanding more about the world, about the Holy Word, about our role in God's Kingdom, to be good stewards of life on earth, protecting the innocent lives of animals, bugs, other kind people, life is priceless and fragile, each one of us born into the world only to end up dying, the promise of everlasting life alluring to those who engage a faith bigger than other people! We can lift each other up to make tomorrow better than today, with kind encouraging words of edification, kindness, up beat optimism, collaboration, friendship, all focus by eyes of love!
Keep your mind sharp by feeding it with health foods, and keep your blood pumping so that you do not have a stroke. Get quality sleep and enough of it. Drink enough water so that your body can clear out yucky metabolites. Avoid toxic products and pollution. The health life is not so complicated if you stop to think about it. No complaining that you didn't know, it is easier than ever to look anything up online quickly. Invariably, if you are reading this blog, you have already made the jump, and i hope my words light a fire in your mind, setting you on fire to rise above the boring mediocrity that dominates the world today!
